History, Time, and Truth Are on the Same Side, Not Joe Biden's

By Rich Kozlovich

Joe Biden was not a decent man, nor was he a public servant.  History and time are on the side of truth, and neither history, time, or truth will look favorably on Joe Biden. It seems to me no matter that some are saying he can recover from his cancer diagnosis, he’s now facing what happens to old people with health issues, especially when neurological problems compound their health, they face negative cascade issues.

I don’t see him lasting much longer, and when he’s on his death bed will he get his last communion after his unending support for abortion?   Will he, like Ted Kennedy, be buried in the church?   The root word for repentance means "to turn about", which requires a change of course to make amends for wrongful actions.  I didn't see that with Kennedy, nor will we see it with Biden.

Joe Biden was a puppet who already was demonstrating serious neurological issues, yet the Democrats knowingly promoted a man they knew was losing it because the Bernie Sanders would have been unacceptable to the public.

And by now, everyone knows that Joe wasn’t running anything in the White House, he was simply being used, a presidential puppet. He could barely speak, read, reason or walk, yet they kept putting him through his puppet paces. A poor, senile old man being forced to pretend the lights were still on.

It also seems clear his dementia was rapidly becoming worse, and they were, in order to remain in power willing to put this sad sack back into the oval office for anther term, which they had to know he wouldn't survive, and then Kamala would be President, and the media was absolutely complicit in this fraud, remember his  clean bill of health!  They all knew his was mentally incapacitated and did everything they could to hide it.
Handlers or no handlers, the fact is Joe Biden was a mean, nasty, and vicious human being, the head of the Biden Crime Family.  It wasn't his handlers that made him so, that was his character long before he entered the White House.

There is only one positive Biden will leave behind?  Absolute evidence the nation needs a Constitutional Amendment adding term limits for Congress, and especially the federal judiciary, which through it's leftist corruption has usurped the power of the presidency and is now demanding the Trump administration give "due process" to all these criminals who invaded the nation.
The judiciary has now been so badly corrupted “due process is code for delay, obfuscation, and a constant stream of billable hours flowing throughout the legal “profession”.

Democrat Party is In a Complete State of Weird

By Rich Kozlovich

Remember when during the 2024 campaign the Democrats keep calling Republicans weird, which caused a lot of head shaking, eye rolling and chucking among conservatives, especially with Tim Walz made such accusations.  Well, let's explore this.

After watching what's been happening since Trump won the election and then heaped a ton of "I'm gonna fix it" on the structure of the federal government the Democrats are frothing at the mouth, demonstrating they're just as insane, corrupt, clueless, and stupid as we've been saying they are.  They're leaderless with no message other than "we will destroy Trump even if we have to destroy America", which has been their real goal right along.

But to be fair, let's take a look at all this from the Democrats point of view and you will see how they can be so incensed at Trump.

What do you mean he’s suing fake news reporters for slander?  He can’t do that!  How will we force-feed lies to the public?

He’s withholding federal funds from universities that allow Islamic supremacists to terrorize Jewish students and brawny men to beat up women in sports?  But that’s Islamophobic and “trans”-phobic!  The “Science” is settled!  Islamic violence is free speech, and biological sex is just a social construct!

He’s removing security clearances for leftist law firms that work to undermine elections and misuse federal surveillance systems to spy on political opponents? That’s not fair — lawfare is our favorite weapon!  We can’t win without rigged elections!

What’s the MAGA despot going to do next — start firing federal workers and exposing how we use taxpayer dollars to fill our own personal piggy banks?  Stop, don’t tell me!  I don’t want to know!  I can’t take it anymore!

And the hits just keep right on coming.  Put your hands together reality fans, Hillary Clinton is now back in the hunt to be the Democrat nominee to be President in 2028.  And we're shocked why?

The Democratic Party is in total disarray. Nobody’s in charge! The Obama-Biden cabal has left the building, Pelosi has health issues, and Schumer is struggling to stave off a rebellion. It’s complete and utter chaos.

Clinton is wantonly corrupt, vile, clueless, and a shifting moral code to meet the mood of the moment.  The perfect Democrat candidate to fill a power vacuum, but she's not alone.  Let's look at the some of the potential nominees being floated by the media.   First there's Gavin Newsom and Crazy Tim Walz, both of whom are struggling to appear normal obviating their history of weirdness, and even attempting to look sane, but given their history how could anyone possibly believe they're normal or sane, especially since the Pravda media can no longer mold the nation's views.

Then there's  AOC, Buttigieg, Rahm Emanuel, Kamala, and watch out now, here it comes, Jamie Crockett. Imagine that.  If the Democrat party was a major league ball team with a bench like that they'd be at the bottom of the standings.  But this is politics, and success in politics doesn't require being successful at .... wellll.... anything, just like Kamala Harris who made a career out of failure.

Mark Lewis asks if Democrats are evil or stupid and answers....yes!  He goes on to note a lot of people like his sister has her mind made up and will not allow contrary opinions or facts get in the way.  He goes on to say:

If a person starts with the wrong premise, he’ll always have the wrong conclusions, regardless of how “intelligent” he might be.  “The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of knowledge.”  If people don't start with that premise, they will always end up with the wrong answers.  If I'm in Dallas and want to go to Los Angeles, if I head north, I won’t arrive in LA because I'm going in the wrong direction. Many so-called “intelligent” people do just that. Their IQs may be very high, but they've begun with the wrong premise, and thus, they will forever reach the wrong conclusions.

That's a mental affliction I call the, the plague of preconceptualism, and it infects everything!  Whether it's  science economics, or reality, which encompasses politics.   Definition leads to clarity, and Eric Utter does a great job of defining what mental gymnastics it takes to be a democrat.  Here's his list with some additions and a lot of paraphrasing from me.

You trust the Pravda media and believe it's the source of truth.  You believe truth is propaganda and that propaganda is truth, and that everything .... everything.... including inanimate objects are racist, clear signs of “white male patriarchy”, justifying becoming outraged at any black who supports Republicans.  You believe Elon Musk is trying to steal from you, so attacking Tesla owners, fire bombing their cars and Tesla dealerships, is an act of patriotism, along with death threats and violence to conservatives, and violence provoked by “misgendering” are acts of patriotism.

You believe any effort to create a fair balance in trade is wrong, that the "top 1% of income earners, who pay 40+% of all income taxes, should pay far more as their “fair share”.  Your sure the world is about to burn up as a result of global warming so destroying the use of traditional energy sources is justified, even if that should cause billions of people to die, and that plants and animals have rights equal to humans.

You’re a woman who engages in unprotected casual sex and gets pregnant, but fail to take responsibility for your actions accusing folks who are anti-abortion are trying to “force you to have a baby”, refusing to accept abortion is the murder of an innocent unborn.  You think a biological man can be a woman, capable of menstruating and bearing children.  You believe Joe Biden's neurological problems was evidence of a sound and sable mind and Trump's attempting to fix the massive corruption going on in government is evidence of an unstable mind.

That Joe's importation of "millions" of migrants, many of whom were part of transnational criminal organizations, was compassionate justice, and totally confident there's no reason in the world why they should assimilate and we should change to accommodate them, and Trump's deporting them is a gross injustice and a violation of their "illegal" rights.

You believe the current crop of potential Democrat nominees are competent, sane, intelligent and selflessly working for the good of the nation and Tim Walz would have been an infinitely better Vice President than Vance, and it's vital America defends Ukraine no matter the cost or consequences, and Hamas is not a murderous terror organization, but freedom fighters who are being abused by Israel, and think it's perfectly normal for homosexuals to strongly support Hamas.  And you must absolutely believe using guns to defend your family from rape and murder is terrible.

What confuses conservatives is how Democrats are capable of totally disregarding factual reality, since such thinking would outrage conservatives if the Republicans embraced such insanity.

It’s Not the Message. It’s the Madness -  You’ve likely heard the phrase, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Seems like good advice, especially when the hole is of your own making. But watching the Democratic Party’s ongoing meltdown—highlighted by their most recent “off the rails” DNC meeting—it’s clear they’ve lost the shovel, the ladder, and the will to climb out  Let’s be clear: it’s not hard to fix the Democratic Party’s problems. They know exactly what’s broken. They just don’t want to fix it.  Instead of offering ideas, vision, and solutions, they’ve tripled down on their Trump Derangement Syndrome. A recent DNC event—meant to be a serious discussion of strategy and policy—turned into a carnival of anti-Trump hysteria. That’s not a platform. That’s a group therapy session.

What about all those who attended and booed Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) at her town hall event.  Well the fact is these are activists, most likely paid activists, who invade these town hall meetings, but they do not represent the people of these states.  Hageman won by almost 40 points in her primary, and "the people of Wyoming don’t care" what these misfits think, say or do, "which is why Liz Cheney is out of a job."

Let's end for now with this piece by Jeff Davidson, Our Well-Entrenched Internal Enemies Jeff Davidson saying:

Our Founding Fathers knew it. Abraham Lincoln knew it and Donald Trump knows it: The greatest threat to United States has always been internal enemies........ This is no alarmist view or a delusion.......From foreign influence peddling and kickbacks, to extortion, to racketeering, to assaults on crypto currencies, to weaponizing Federal agencies, to colluding with state AGs and municipal DAs, to spying on Americans, to intimidating media organizations, to ignoring Supreme Court decisions, to harassing selected taxpayers, to indicting and jailing political opponents, to bogus billion-dollar budget allocations, and to systematically weakening border control, Joe Biden’s Leftist puppet masters became more brazen. Armed with an autopen, they turned the Biden Administration into a lawless regime culminating in Joe Biden to having to pardon his own family. Then they selected Kamala Harris, a notably empty shell, to replace Biden in the 2024 election.

And this is what the Democrat party is fighting to preserve, and none of them think that's weird. Remarkable!

Biden Befouls Everything He Touches

By Rich Kozlovich

As Biden's days as President are coming to a close he continues to befoul the Presidency.  First all these corrupt pardons, then executive orders and regulations without end to prevent the Trump administration from instituting policies that will actually aid the nation versus the insane and inept policies, foreign and domestic, the Biden administration imposed on the nation, and the world.

Leftists are demanding he impose the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution, which has run out of time, but they say he can do it.  the Congress, the courts, and the national Archivist says he can't.  And now he's besmirched the value of the Medal of Freedom.

Some of those who were given this award by Biden were pretty much from the "political snake class", making this award meaningless.

There was a 2002 movie about a Russian submarine, K-19: The Widowmaker with Harrison Ford.  At the end of the movie after discovering the Soviet hierarchy refused to give medals to the crew members who died saving the rest of the crew's lives Ford's character said:

For their courage I nominated these men for the title of hero of the Soviet Union. But the committee ruled that because it was not wartime, and because it was merely an accident, they were not worthy of the title hero. What good are honors from such people? These men sacrificed, not for a medal. But because when the time came, it was their duty. Not to the navy, or to the state, but to us. Their comrades.

Though the course of my life I've seen this pattern playing out so often. Honors bestowed on the unworthy, while ignoring those who actually accomplish something worthwhile.

In this article by Eric Utter, Biden awards Hillary and Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the author asks:

Is John Hinckley, Jr. next in line for the prestigious award? He came within a half an inch of assassinating Ronald Reagan in 1981 but now lives on his own and has started his own record label! Maybe instead of Biden just granting 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed a plea deal, he could award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, too....

While Hillary received a standing ovation, that doesn't change the fact she's still a snake, in a room full of vipers.  Things may change for her soon. Monica Showalter says Biden has "soiled" this award stating:

As President Obama used to say: "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f--- things up." Or as President Trump put it: "Everything he touches turns to s---." Joe's always promoted that kind of partisan unity.  So now he's handing out another slew of awards, as if his pardons and commutations to heinous criminals, and his civilian award to Liz Cheney were not enough........

Matt Vespa says now this award means nothing, and Patricia McCarthy, citing examples, calls the Biden administration a bunch of immature spoiled playground bullies, and even calls them treasonous, who would happily destroy the country.

The final indignity the Biden regime has inflicted on the American people is to present Hillary Clinton and George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom. HRC and Soros are two of the most corrupt, self-serving creatures ever set loose on our republic.  It was bad enough that he gave the loathsome Liz Cheney and Benny Thompson, her partner in crime on the J6 committee, the Presidential Citizens Medal.  That committee was a fraudulent panel if there ever was one; it was a theatrical production full of lies, and its members destroyed actual evidence. That committee was a purposeful insult to all the people who have been destroyed by the Biden/Garland pursuit and persecution of anyone present in D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021.

"What good are honors from such people?"

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered - or - Delusional, Deceitful, and Dumb

 By Rich Kozlovich

For those of us who are older, I'm on the back end of seventy, we remember, and loved, the great Broadway shows created by great musical teams like Rodgers and Hart, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Lerner and Lowe.  In 1940 one of the songs introduced by Rodgers and Hart in the musical Pal Joey, was Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, which became a hit record in 1950, and was reintroduced in the 1952 Broadway revival.  That was an era of inspiring, true entertainment and craft, and will never return.

Okay, so where's this going?  Well, I think it's worth while to decide if Biden is just bewitched, bothered and bewildered, or is he delusional, deceitful, and dumb.  For the President of the United States to be on either side of this is unacceptable, but at least being on one side of this is excusable.  Being on the other side is corrupt, and no excuse can be justified or acceptable.

In an interview with Joe Biden the interviewer stated there's not a major corporation in the world that would hire a CEO that was 80 years old, then asked Joe Biden why should America elect an 82 year old man as the most important CEO in the world?  Biden answered: “Because I have acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom and know more than the vast majority of people. I’m more experienced than anybody has gone through the office and I think I’ve proven myself to be honorable as well as also effective.

Remarkable! Then we have Obama's evaluation: "Never underestimate Joe Biden's ability to screw things up", which means of course one of them is delusional.

So, he's acquired all this wisdom because he knows so much, and his "experience" in life makes him most worthy?  Ronald Reagan was right when he said: "The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."  One of the things we need to abandon is the idea liberals are our friends, or the "loyal" opposition.  They're not, they're' communists. devoted to the destruction of America as we know it.

As Silvio Canto, Jr. pointed out in his article, "The commies of Colorado", noting:

At some point, you have to call a "commie" a "commie." In other words, if it hates capitalism, it hates capitalism.  Check this out from the Colorado Education Association, the state’s affiliate to the National Education Association.  This is their latest resolution:  “CEA believes that capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources. Capitalism is in opposition to fully addressing systemic racism (the school to prison pipeline), climate change, patriarchy, (gender and LGBTQ disparities), education inequality, and income inequality.”  There you have it.  Don't call them well-meaning liberals, because this is communism."

And they lie ...a lot.... at least until they no longer need to lie.   Once they have enough power no one dares call them liars.  Joe Biden, and for that matter, his entire administration and the Congress demonstrate these foundational truths daily.

Those of us who are older remember when Fidel Castro claimed he wasn't a communist, until his power was secure, then it turned out ...... he really was a communist.... and like all communist thugs, he proceeded to murder a lot of innocent people, and in fact, per ratio he killed more people than did Joe Stalin.

If Biden is so wise and knows so much more than the majority of people, then how in the world can he honestly claim he's been "honorable", and "effective".  So, is he bewitched, bothered and bewildered, or  delusional, deceitful, and dumb?

Biden claims he won't negotiate over raising the debt limit or spending because "his" economy is better than Trumps, which is so obviously wrong for him to publicly say such a thing has to make any rational person wonder what's wrong with his mind.  Especially when the amassed history of his experience in life shows he clearly has been neither honorable, effective, nor is the economy better now than during the Trump administration.

Unless of course you feel these things represent a great economy:

  1. Growing inflation.
  2. National debt piling up well over thirty trillion dollars
  3. Banks failing because of ESG investing, which the federal government is demanding from financial institutions.
  4. Spending that's out of control.
  5. Higher energy costs.
  6. Eliminate use of natural gas.
  7. Force the nation to use electric vehicles.
  8. Higher food costs.
  9. Telling us we need to start eating bugs.
  10. Shortages of many commonly used products.
  11. Stores closing all over the nation due to the massive crime wave across the nation.
  12. Rampant illegal immigration.
Many of these problems are a direct result of the Biden Administration's unrelenting war against climate change, one of the greatest scientific frauds ever perpetrated on humanity, and Kerry, Biden's special envoy on climate, and what that means is totally obscure as:

"Neither the White House nor the State Department responded to questions about the precise nature of Kerry’s work, and whether he was authorized to negotiate treaties on behalf of the United States,"  Yet he's spending millions refusing to divulge to Congress what he's spending it on, who "he's meeting with and who is advising him......stonewalled requests for budget and staffing information from legislators and government watchdog groups."

"In response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed last year by RealClearInvestigations for a breakdown on how the climate envoy’s roughly $16.5 million 2022 budget was spent, the State Department said it could not comply with the request until April 2025, months after both the 2024 election and the expiration of President Biden’s current term."

And  now according to Marc Morano of CFACT, along with Steve Milloy, in this Newsmax video, starting at 24:35, they note that Biden, through the regulatory agencies is ‘bypassing democracy to impose Net Zero vision’!   So why should we think any of these goings on are honorable?  We shouldn't!   Climate is only a threat to America if America adopts all the insanity of the Biden administration's climate agenda.  All of which Biden, his administration, and the Democrat party own, lock, stock and barrel.

In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, Biden apparently thinks all this represents honor and is evidence of a good economy.  In point of fact, his claims about his accomplishments, his value, and his intelligence demonstrate a diametrically opposing conclusion to being honorable or effective!   Is he bewitched,  bothered and bewildered, or  delusional, deceitful, and dumb?

I've discussed effective, now let's look at honorable.  Honorable is the antipode of corrupt, and now there's so much dirt coming out about Biden's dealings, and those around him, including Obama. According to Senator Grassley and Representative Comer there evidence Biden takes pay offs to make policy decisions, and it's being noted:

"If it's accurate, it doesn't just involve Joe Biden."

All of which may not be the Constitutional letter of the law for treason, but it certainly embraces on the spirit of the law for treason, and America needs to know if the Biden crime family, Obama, and others promoted the sell out of the nation for financial gain, and how vast a network was involved.

Is he bewitched, bothered and bewildered, or is he delusional, deceitful and dumb as dirt?  That's an easy answer. He's delusional, deceitful and dumb as dirt.  He simply lies to himself, and to the world, and he always has, ......unendingly.... and it's deliberate.  And now that he's become so neurologically fragile, I think he believes his lies, and those lies along with his actions are deadly to the nation.

Cory Booker Belongs in Jail Over Newark’s Water Crisis

Posted by Daniel Greenfield 1 Comments Sunday, September 15, 2019 @ Sultan Knish Blog

Don’t drink the water in Newark.

The only thing worse than the crime and corruption in the New Jersey city that gave the nation Cory Booker is its drinking water. First, they found lead in the water in schools and then in people’s homes.

In some homes the lead content in the water is four times higher than the federal limit.

And Cory Booker, the Senator from New Jersey, running to run the country, is blaming racism.

"Newark's water emergency demands our federal government's immediate attention. Everyone
deserves clean, safe water - it's shameful that our national crisis of lead-contaminated water disproportionately hits poor black and brown communities like my own," Booker tweeted.

Did a “national crisis” cause Newark’s clean water crisis?

Booker probably forgot that he had served as the ex-officio chairman of the Newark Watershed Conservation and Development Corporation. It's understandable that Spartacus forgot all about it because while he was running Newark, he never actually attended a single NWCDC meeting.

And, after a while, he stopped even pretending to send a representative.

The NWCDC was being paid $10 million a year to manage Newark’s water.

Linda Watkins-Brashear, a Booker ally and donor, worked as the director of the NWCDC. At least until she was arrested, tried and convicted in a $1 million kickback scheme. The scandal broke during Booker’s final year in office. And the NWCDC, Board of Trustees, which he was supposed to be overseeing, took swift action by dissolving the board, and writing a $450,000 check to Brashear.

It was Brashear’s second severance package. The first one, of $200,000, came when she left for three weeks while still continuing to receive her salary. That was the same year Booker took office.

Nice work if you can get it.

By the end, Booker hadn’t even bothered sending representatives to NWCDC board meetings, which were being illegally decided by three people, while handing his political ally years of no-bid contracts.

Brashear had donated thousands of dollars to Booker and volunteered on his campaign. And she used the organization that was supposed to oversee Newark’s clean water to write $200,000 in checks to herself, lose $558,000 in high risk margin trading, give her ex-husband a $332,000 no-bid interior design contract, loan $20,000 to the National Black United Fund, and cover a lobster and cognac dinner.

And now, mysteriously and inexplicably, there’s a “national crisis” of lead in Newark’s water.

You can have clean water for the people or cognac for Democrat fixers, but not both.

It truly is shameful that this “national crisis” of Cory Booker’s corrupt political allies stealing money meant to ensure clean water “disproportionately hits poor black and brown communities”.

President Cory Booker will make sure that the “national crisis” will affect people of all races when his crooked Democrat associates are running the country the way that they ran Newark.

Booker is black. As is Brashear.

As is Donald Bernard Sr., the senior projects manager of NWCDC, who was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to accepting $1 million in bribes from contractors.

Clearly, this is a national crisis of environmental racism.

How did the NWCDC get away with this for so long?

Its general counsel, Elnardo Webster II, was Booker's former law partner, friend and advisor. Elnardo was working for Trenk, DiPasquale, Della Fera & Sodono, which was also Booker’s former law firm. While the firm was making a fortune from city contracts, including for NWCDC, it was paying Booker $700,000.

A judge levied major fines against Booker’s former law firm over its NWCDC work.

Yes, this “national crisis” of Cory Booker’s sleaziness must be urgently addressed as he now holds an office in the national government and would like an even bigger national office.

“Newark's water emergency demands our federal government's immediate attention,” insists Booker, who never attended a single meeting of the organization that was supposed to be overseeing it.

And which he was supposed to be overseeing.

According to Booker, who spent most of his time in office alternating between Twitter and Oprah, he just couldn’t find the time. Clean water never got his attention, immediate or otherwise.

Back in May, Cory Booker had introduced the Water Infrastructure Funding Transfer Bill to help Newark move money around. "Communities across the country don't have clean drinking water, and those communities are disproportionately low-income and communities of color,” he claimed.

“This is an environmental justice issue.”

It’s not an environmental justice issue. It’s a criminal justice issue.

A normal person who chaired a board of trustees that committed flagrant illegalities, overseeing an organization where millions of dollars were stolen by one of his donors, and received hundreds of thousands of dollars from a disgraced law firm connected to the scandal, all of which put the public at risk, would not be appearing running for President. He would be in prison.

The environment didn’t cause this. It’s not a national crisis that somehow “hit” Newark. It’s not racial discrimination against “communities of color”.

Cory Booker keeps trying to blame racism for the actions of his corrupt political associates. And the Democrats keep acting as if their corruption is some sort of national problem to be blamed on us all.

Edward McRae, an NWCDC employee, set up a landscaping company to get NWCDC contracts, even though he had no experience in landscaping.

He didn't even buy landscaping equipment until he got the landscaping contract.

How did Eddie get so lucky?

McRae said that he met Brashear while working on an unstated political campaign and heard that it was raining contracts. It’s unknown whose campaign it was, but it was certainly a Democrat campaign.

While Booker’s pals were robbing the NWCDC blind, they knew better than to actually drink the water.

The OSC investigation found that public funds weren't just being used to buy lobster, filet magnon and cognac, but $534 for imported drinking water from Florida.

Booker is right. It is shameful.

It’s shameful that the former party of segregation fastened on to black communities like a leech while blaming its corruption on racism and an imaginary national crisis. It’s shameful that the media promoted Booker’s routine as a progressive social media guru while failing to hold him accountable.

And it’s shameful that Booker and his political allies have no shame.

Instead of apologizing, Cory Booker is trying to shift the blame for his action and inaction to all Americans. He’s trying to blame racism, instead of blaming his thieving donors and allies.

When the NWCDC was stealing money meant for clean water, Booker pretended he knew nothing. Now he knows that bottled water is being handed out in Newark because of a national crisis of racist water.

Before Brashear was sentenced to 8 years in prison for stealing almost $2 million, her lawyer claimed that, “there is no crime here”.

Hundreds of cities, and thousands of agencies and organizations across the country have been robbed by Democrat politicians, donors and activists, the same way that Booker’s pals robbed Newark.

But there’s never a crime. It’s always a “national crisis” that gets blamed on social problems and racism.

When the schools don’t work (the $100 million that Mark Zuckerberg plugged into Newark’s schools on Booker’s behalf might as well have been set on fire), and the power is out, and there’s no clean water, when residents aren’t evacuated ahead of a hurricane and the buildings are falling apart, it’s racism.

It’s never the fault of the Democrats who are responsible for the schools, the buildings and the water.

If only we cared enough, the media tells us, children wouldn’t be drinking water with lead. If only we paid higher taxes and sacrificed more, Booker’s associates would have been able to drink twice as much cognac and gorge on twice as much lobster, king crab and filet mignon.

And now, despite years of EPA warnings, Booker is demanding that the federal government get involved. He’s right again. The federal government ought to get involved. And it ought to involve handcuffs.

Cory Booker doesn’t belong in the White House. He belongs in prison.

Predatort Part II: How predatory lawyers, activist scientists hijacked IARC—International Agency for Research on Cancer—for personal profit and ideological vanity

| | March 1, 2019

Part Two of SlimeGate’s Tort-Tort Scam chapter is not only an illustration of tort-tort abuse of the scientific process for their personal enrichment, it is also an indictment of how the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has forsaken academic integrity and knowingly is contributing to the Predatort litigation strategy. A small network of scientists prospering as litigation consultants seems to be controlling IARC according to their tort trial opportunities. This exposé on benzene will provide the backstory for what likely happened with glyphosate. It will reveal the following points:.........To Read More....

Farm Subsidy Follies: From Your Table to Their Farm

Rich farmers get richer, small farmers poorer, and you can forget about the deficit ever getting smaller

Debra J. Saunders December 16, 2018

Forget all the tongue clucking about Washington being so divided and nasty that Democrats and Republicans cannot work together. As the Senate and House proved this week in passing the $867 billion farm bill, when it comes to spending money they don’t have, party leaders really can reach across the aisle.

With the national federal debt approaching $22 trillion, President Donald Trump has praised the bill, which provides food stamps for the poor, but also hands out subsidies to American farmers, even though it does not include needed reforms or even modest spending cuts.

Conservative think tanks dismiss the farm subsidies as corporate welfare. On the left, environmentalist groups have opposed them as well. Fiscal hawks are appalled at the failure of Congress to do anything to ease the deficit.

And yet the farm bill lives............. To Read More...

Obama's slimy little Deep State environmental cabal is at it again

Under President Obama, the Environmental Protection Agency grew to gargantuan proportions, issuing 4,000 regulations, adding more than 33,000 pages to the Federal Register, and dumping $50 billion in compliance costs on business, making itself one of the biggest and most powerful agencies in the U.S. government – quite a feat for an organization without a Cabinet seat.

With all that power, it was also famous for its incompetence and corruption, in that it had a problem obeying rules other people obeyed and always got away with it.  Gold King Mine on the very yellow Animas River, anyone?  That also applies to the behavior of its Obamaton leaders, who communicated with secret email accounts (remember Richard Windsor?) and got rewarded with fabulous Silicon Valley social media jobs in the revolving-door aftermath.  They were amply augmented in their activities by the Obama State Department and the Obama National Security Council, which conducted business pretty much the same way.

Now it turns out this same corrupt bunch is at it again, in a new Competitive Enterprise Institute report called "Government for Rent," put on by the respected Christopher C. Horner.

EPA’s Non-Politicized Science Benefits Americans

A direct challenge to the hardcore enviros who heretofore controlled and corrupted the agency.

H. Sterling Burnett September 13, 2018

President Donald Trump committed to fundamentally transforming the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from an agency producing politicized science to one instilling sound scientific standards for research. By doing so, Americans should expect improved environmental and health outcomes.

Currently, regulatory costs top $1.9 trillion annually, which amounts to $14,842 per U.S. household. That’s nearly $15,000 less for Americans to pay for health insurance, medical bills, education expenses, groceries, gasoline, or entertainment. Because the economic and social implications of regulations are profound, the science they are built upon must be impeccable.

Over the last few decades — under Republican and Democratic administrations — EPA formed a cozy relationship with radical environmental activists and liberal academic researchers. With the support of environmental lobbyists who despise capitalism (expressed by consumers’ free choices in the marketplace) EPA bureaucrats, in pursuit of more power and expanded budgets for the agency, funded researchers who, because they were largely dependent on government grants for the majority of their funding, were only too happy to produce results claiming industry was destroying the earth.

Of course, the only way to prevent environmental collapse was more government control of the economy. However, these reports were produced despite the fact poverty and hunger have steadily declined and people are living longer and more productive lives than ever before........To Read More....

My Take -- I enjoyed the article, but I would state that in spite of the early achievements EPA had in cleaning up the air, land and water, that doesn’t change the fact EPA was founded in corruption from the very beginning of it’s creation by President Nixon and it’s first administrator William Ruckelshaus with the direct intent of banning DDT, irrespective of the science. The only true fix for EPA is its elimination since eventually another administration will come and may have a different view of what EPA should be doing. The hard core greenies in the agency will merely hunker down and wait for that to happen, and when it does they’ll come roaring back with a vengeance.

When is it time for a scientist to call out peers over questionable research?

Ingfei Chen | | August 30, 2018

Recently, I received an email from a wildlife researcher — I’ll use the pseudonym Scientist A — who wanted to anonymously seek advice on a professional quandary. This researcher believes that two colleagues are presenting data on a controversial wildlife species in a misleading way. The dataset now spans roughly four decades, but when the method for counting the critters changed in the 1990s, the population census leapt by an unprecedented amount.

While Scientist A says the switch in survey methodology created the illusion of a spike in the animal’s population growth, the colleagues — whom we’ll refer to as Scientists B and C — portrayed the increase as a biological reality.

Scientist A further notes that although their older research reports clearly mentioned the shift to the newer census method, the more recent studies by Scientists B and C haven’t acknowledged it.

That includes a new report this year that ignored other published work pointing out the importance of the change in methods. As a result, Scientist A is now pondering whether the right move is to write another commentary and continue discussing the issue publicly in the literature — or demand retraction of recent papers by Scientists B and C. “Is this a case for scientific debate,” Scientist A wondered in the email message, “or a case of misconduct?”..........To Read More.....

EPA finally admits ethanol mandate is causing environmental damage

By Thomas Lifson August 5, 2018

The federal requirement to blend ethanol into gasoline on the theory that it will reduce the hypothetical global warming that hasn’t appeared yet has been a joke from the start. By adding a huge amount of demand for corn, it did push up prices for that commodity, and made vast swaths of the rural Midwest prosperous, though it has injured poor Mexicans and others who depend on corn for a substantial portion of their nutrition and driven up the rice of feed used for animals, raising meat prices...............Read more

My Take - Another EPA/Environmentalist solution to another non-problem turns into a legitimate problem.  Once these things go into effect there seems to be no way of stopping them no matter what goes on in reality.  They mention the farmers in the Midwest and early primaries, but in the last election cycle the Midwest supported those presidential contestants who were opposed to this mandate.

We need to understand this once and for all.  All.....and I mean all....alternative energy schemes are environmentally detrimental, expensive, incapable of supplying our energy needs and totally unnecessary.  All this clabber came into effect as a result of two verifiably false claims.   First, we were running out of fossil fuels and secondly those fuel sources were causing catastrophic global warming.

The Paradox Of “Risk-Free”

Play at your own risk
By  Michael D. ShawMay 26, 2008 @ Health News Digest

This holiday weekend, the plans of many Americans were disrupted by record-high gasoline prices. Not surprisingly, hordes of politicians took advantage of a golden opportunity for publicity, and grilled oil company executives—knowing full well that they have little to do with setting crude oil prices. But if you get past the usual rhetoric, something new seems to be emerging: More folks are questioning the wisdom of a host of government policies affecting energy and the environment.

At the core of this inquisitive attitude is the notion that attempting to create a risk-free society poses its own set of risks, and some of these are worse than the very ones supposedly being eliminated. Or, put more concisely: there’s plenty of risk in trying to go “risk-free.”

While it might not actually be possible for the United States to be completely self-sufficient in energy, surely the over-regulation that has severely curtailed offshore oil drilling, and has prevented a new refinery being built here since 1976 has hardly helped. Once again, those most hurt by these policies are the poorest among us—those the Government tells us they care the most about.
The risks of going risk-free usually manifest themselves as one or more so-called “unintended consequences,” the latest versions being how using corn for fuel caused food shortages, and how environmental restrictions on Corps of Engineers’ plans for New Orleans definitely exacerbated the effects of Hurricane Katrina. However, “unintended consequences” is little more than verbal cosmetics painted on disastrously conceived policy.

What would the reaction be to a drunk driver claiming that killing a family of four in a catastrophic accident was an “unintended consequence” of him celebrating too much at the local tavern? What should the reaction be to millions of African deaths caused by the banning of DDT? In the latter case, the only reaction can be to bring back the chemical, and, in fact, that is happening.

Many examples of the negative consequences of regulatory actions could be cited, including a particular case that occurred in California a few years ago. Ethylene oxide (EtO), a vital chemical used as a sterilant in health care and other applications, is one compound the regulators love to hate, and it has been regulated beyond all reason—well past anything that could be justified scientifically. It is one of very few chemicals that has both toxic and explosive properties, that could emerge in a typical workplace, under upset conditions. Of course, with proper handling it is quite safe.

California regulations provide for very stringent limits on how much EtO can be exhausted to the air, such that a particular type of device must be used to treat any effluent. Unfortunately, this device contains an open flame. Yes, an open flame device is used with an explosive compound.

Certainly, under normal operation, the amount of EtO reaching the flame is below explosive levels. The problem is that when things go wrong, anything less than fail-safe is extremely imprudent. Because of very foolish actions by plant operators, which manually overrode a safety interlock, an explosive level of EtO did reach the flame, and a large explosion occurred. Owing to nothing more than sheer dumb luck, no one was killed.

Please note that the effluent treatment required by California provides only marginally better EtO removal than devices used in all other states, and absent the device, the incident would not have occurred. Was it really worth it? At the time, the whole affair seemed like a case of regulatory malfeasance, but I was to find out that no such thing exists, thanks to the landmark Supreme Court case of Dalehite v. United States, 346 U.S. 15 (1953).

This was the test case stemming from an April, 1947 incident, referred to as the Texas City disaster, considered the worst industrial accident in American history. A massive explosion of ammonium nitrate fertilizer—destined for relief efforts in Europe—caused 581 deaths, along with more than 5,000 injuries, and property damage leaving dozens of businesses in ruins, and 2,000 people homeless.

Since the entire operation was run by the Federal government, and the Feds had written all the specifications on how to handle the material, there was no argument on who was to blame. Many of the resulting lawsuits were combined into the Dalehite case, under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). Elizabeth Dalehite was the widow of Henry Dalehite, a tugboat captain killed in the explosion. In April, 1950 the district court found the US liable for a long list of negligent acts involving well over 100 agencies and their representatives.

Elizabeth was warned, though, that the Government might appeal, and the Supreme Court upheld the appeals court in reversing the lower court decision. In other words, the plaintiffs lost.

Under a rather novel theory, the Court would essentially negate the Tort Claims act with the astonishing finding that affirmed that the Feds are not liable for “negligent planning decisions” which were properly delegated to various departments and agencies. Under this reading, the FTCA exempts “failure to exercise or perform a discretionary function or duty,” and all the negligent acts in the case were discretionary in nature. Quite convenient, don’t you think?

The dissenting justices noted that a private individual would have been held to higher standards here than the Government. In 1955, Congress would eventually provide some compensation to the survivors, but most agreed that it was too little too late.

Thus, with the regulators immunized against the consequences of their actions—intended or otherwise—the public must be much more proactive. That means contacting their representatives before questionable policy plans become law.

Beware those scientific studies -- most are wrong, researcher warns

Ivan Couronne AFP July 05, 2018

Washington (AFP) - A few years ago, two researchers took the 50 most-used ingredients in a cook book and studied how many had been linked with a cancer risk or benefit, based on a variety of studies published in scientific journals.
The result? Forty out of 50, including salt, flour, parsley and sugar. "Is everything we eat associated with cancer?" the researchers wondered in a 2013 article based on their findings.

Their investigation touched on a known but persistent problem in the research world: too few studies have large enough samples to support generalized conclusions.

But pressure on researchers, competition between journals and the media's insatiable appetite for new studies announcing revolutionary breakthroughs has meant such articles continue to be published.

"The majority of papers that get published, even in serious journals, are pretty sloppy," said John Ioannidis, professor of medicine at Stanford University, who specializes in the study of scientific studies.

This sworn enemy of bad research published a widely cited article in 2005 entitled: "Why Most Published Research Findings Are False."

Since then, he says, only limited progress has been made...........To Read More.....

Montreal mission creep: The UN’s coming for your AC

by , 2 Comments @ CFACT

It is called mission creep when a government operation tries to go beyond its established mission. In this case the operation is the UN led, Montreal Treaty group of nations. Their mission has always been far out and questionable, namely protecting the stratospheric ozone layer from human interference. Now they want to do their bit in the bogus war on climate change.

It is especially nasty when the government flips, saying that the fix that was right (and expensive) is now wrong (and much more expensive to refix), but it keeps them busy (and powerful). Here is the bad deal.

The Montreal Protocol is a 30 year old international treaty aimed at phasing out the use of certain chemicals, known as CFC’s. These were widely used in important things like refrigeration and air conditioning, where they did a great job.  CFC’s became the subject of a big green scare, based on the speculation that their release was creating a hole in the ozone layer, so they had to go. They were gradually replaced, at great expense, by chemicals called HFC’s.

Now we have the bogus global warming scare. It happens that HFC’s are greenhouse gases, so the Greens say that they now have to go. This is via something called in UN-speak the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.

This amendment was adopted by the Montreal Treaty group back in 2016, when they happened to meet in Kigali, Rwanda, where they probably had air conditioning. Not surprisingly, the global warming fearing Obama team voted for it.

Enough member countries have adopted the amendment, so that it has gone into effect. Especially the developing countries, because just as with the Paris climate change agreement, they get big money from the developed countries, to help them carry it out. The ever-green European countries, led by France, have also adopted it.

But America has not yet adopted the Kigali Amendment and this is now a big issue. The Trump Administration has not submitted the Amendment to the Senate for ratification, nor should it. Better to let it lie and die, as we did with the infamous Kyoto Protocol on global warming. All of this global warming stuff is just money for nothing.

Or they could submit it, so the Senate can reject it. That would be definitive.

There is even a twist of fate here. What helped get the original Montreal Protocol through the Senate was a massive, science sounding report. It was completely biased in favor of the ozone hole scare, but the media bought it. Some of the people that engineered this hyped report then went on to help start and run the infamous UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change or IPCC.

The IPCC produces similarly biased, massive reports ever five years or so, hyping the climate change scare. The media loves them. Now the Montreal Protocol operation is trying to cash in on that scare, hoping that what goes around can come around.

Conclusion: The Montreal Protocol should stick to its questionable mission, which is largely complete at this point. Swapping out HFC’s in the name of stopping global warming, after spending a fortune putting them in, is just nuts. It is just another green scheme to transfer wealth, from America and the other developed countries, to the developing countries. There are no environmental benefits here, just expensive make-work.

Ted Cruz demands investigation into taxpayer-funded global warming ‘advocacy’

June 22, 2018, by , 3 Comments

Senators asked federal investigators to look into whether or not several National Science Foundation (NSF) grants broke federal law, including funding projects lawmakers sought to “influence political and social debate” on global warming.

“We find NSF’s stewardship of the federal taxpayer dollars devoted to the latter project particularly egregious for a number of reasons,” Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Oklahoma Sens. James Lankford and Jim Inhofe wrote in a letter sent Thursday evening to NSF Inspector General Allison Lerner.

“We are also requesting the NSF OIG investigate whether the ‘research’ or outcomes of these projects constitute violations of the Hatch Act or any other federal statute or regulation,” the GOP lawmakers wrote.

Lawmakers’ letter to NSF’s Office of Inspector General came after NBC News reported the non-profit group Climate Central “reached more than 500 local TV weathercasters” as part of its “Climate Matters” program that launched in 2012.

The “Climate Matters” program was backed by two NSF grants totalling more than $4 million that were rewarded in 2009 and 2014, according to federal records. The grants were issued to two universities and Climate Central...........To Read More.....

Dear EWG, Why Are You Shaking Down Companies to Get on Your 'Verified' List?

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. This holds true for individuals, companies, and NGOs. Let's focus on the Environmental Working Group. Although their science is generally appalling, they sure have marketing down to an art.
This can, in no way, be more apparent than the group's new program (scam?), which is called EWG Verified™. It's actually very clever. Let's say that you own a company whose label doesn't contain the names of enough scary sounding ingredients that are not in that product. Then how will you get people will pay extra (for no good reason) to buy what you're selling? How can you step it up? Pay off EWG, and the next thing you know—bang! You're on their list of "verified products." Cool! And if you don't, well, then you're hosed. Because you and all of the other companies that sell stuff that isn't EWG Verified™ are going to look like you're putting Sarin gas in the mouthwash. EWG is nothing if not consistent. If you look at the ingredients on it "EWG Unacceptable List," pretty much all of them either 1) cause cancer, or 2) are endocrine disruptors. .....To Read More....
