L.A. Riots, Part I

California is a disaster, and while Gavin Newsom is at the heart of it all, he has a lot of help in heaping horror on the state's stable population, which is leaving in droves, as L.A. burns for the second time in six months, this time forcing President to Trump send troops, with politicians spouting insanity in response. 

One writer takes the position that Los Angeles belongs to all of us,  and "not the private property of "Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass, and the open border activists are mistaken in believing that the neighborhoods of LA are their own private playground where they can act out their dystopian fantasy of opposing Trump’s deportations."  

The author goes on to state that if Newsom's claim that "LA authorities are able to access law enforcement at a moment’s notice" is true, then the only conclusion you can come to is he's "intentionally chosen to restrain law enforcement. In essence, the rioting in the wake of ICE deportation actions is being actively encouraged by LA authorities."   The reality is the LAPD is not going to enforce the law as they've gone full Orwell joining the media claiming these riots are "mostly peaceful".  American's are not buying it. 

The Democrats are repugnant, and have once again, started a civil war in America:

Under Obama and Biden, they have brought in their troops—20+ million illegals from around the world, most of whom would rather fight than go home. They have, in the previous few decades, used the American education system to brainwash millions of robots to hate their country, to view America as racist, sexist, fascist, homophobic, white supremacist, and the greatest enemy of mankind.  

• They Called for Insurrection, They Got It, and Now They're Playing Innocent. CA Officials Are Repugnant. We’ve seen the playbook so many times: Democrats accuse conservatives of fomenting violence, white supremacist action, and “insurrection.” While actual examples of the “right-wing” brutality that they endlessly scream about are few and far between, they stay quite busy in the meantime promoting their own domestic terrorism in the form of the devastating urban destruction during the George Floyd-BLM riots of 2020, the antisemitic demonstrations on college campuses that started in 2023, and now in recent days, the active and hostile resistance against law enforcement officers from our own country............

Is there any doubt the Democrats are totally detached from reality? One Democrat nitwit claimed this is "no different than when the Dodgers or the Rams win the World Series or the Super Bowl.   Really?  So, "fires are raging, cops are being assaulted, and federal facilities are besieged, but local Democrats still think it’s a mostly peaceful undertaking."  So, these are "mostly peaceful" cop car burnings?  Once again the Democrats embrace rioters over taxpaying law abiding citizens.  And now dead bodies are showing up and businesses are being vandalized and robbed.  C'mon man, what's a good "political protest" without stores being looted? Right?  After all, ya gotta have your priorities.

Maxine Waters claims that officers being attacked and cars being burned isn't evidence of violence. Nancy Pelosi is furious that Trump has the nerve to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles. A House Democrat who was brought here illegally when she was five, blames Feds for the violence and chemical weapons attack on ICE agents, a Minnesota State lawmaker confesses she’s an illegal immigrant, which turned out to not be exactly true,  and then there's Van Hollen who has no regrets defending Abrego Garcia, and Representative Jayapal  pledges solidarity with Illegals, not Americans, which shouldn't shock anyone.

Jocelyn Benson who is called America’s dirtiest Sec of State and Democrat candidate for governor of Michigan has embraced the Kamala dumb as dirt syndrome, and her political life might now be over saying “I pray that no law-abiding people are hurt or worse due to this flagrant, tyrannical abuse of power.”  So, do I understand this correctly?  Enforcing the law and standing up to rioters is tyrannical and an abuse of power?  I did get that right ......didn't I?

• California’s Fascists Cry ‘Fascism’.  It wasn't all that long ago California state and local authorities, under the control of the Democratic Party, engaged in a relentless campaign against people who went to the beach or sat on a park bench (never mind actually opening a restaurant not named the French Laundry for business) and did it with no apologies. People were criminalized for living their normal lives by Gov. Newsom and his allies.

But Trump is the fascist for stopping rioting and mayhem, and that can't be tolerated as LA County supervisor defends the riots, warning the federal government to “back off”!

"It’s not even about the rioters in Los Angeles. It’s the fact that all of this behavior is being protected from the top down.  And so Supervisor Janice Hahn felt emboldened enough to tell the media that the federal government is “inciting these kinds of protests and riots”, justified the actions of the rioters and then argued that “The way to solve this problem is for the federal government to back off, have a break, have a truce”.......... 

And of course you're going to be shocked, shocked I tell you, to find Kamala stands with LA rioters, and doing so because Trump's “stoking fear… of a community demanding dignity and due process.”  

A community demanding dignity and due process?  Like the ones laundering drug cartel money, or the ones involved in violence, drugs, and sex offences, or those involved in the ‘slave labor’ subculture of illegal day workers?  They've arrested the worst of the worst.  Convicted killer, child molester, and domestic abuser in the L.A. raid.  Is that the dignified community she's talking about?  Have another glass of wine Kamala, and you'll feel all better. 

Is it any wonder one California Sheriff calls Harris’ statement, an embarrassment? Is there any doubt America dodged a bullet.  

Dem Rep. Garcia says these ICE raids are shameful claiming if someone is here illegally they have a right to due process.  No, actually they don't.  While the federal judiciary is making up new law, the reality is the only due process they have a right to is proving they're here legally. That's it, and if they're not, they're out. 

• CA Dems Totally Melted Down Over Trump Deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles - There’s only one appropriate response to the numerous California Democrats seething that Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles amid the anti-ICE riots that have engulfed the city: sit down and shut up. We wouldn’t have to do this if they knew basic public safety policy. When cops are assaulted, you arrest people. When federal facilities are stormed, you not only arrest the perpetrators but respond posthaste, not wait two hours like the LAPD did on Friday. On that day, a Department of Homeland Security facility was stormed, and the local cops were AWOL.........

Mayor Bass furious at ICE agents enforcing immigration laws, claiming LA is a city of immigrants, the problem is so many of them are illegal immigrates, and so many of them are criminals, in point of fact it's not unreasonable to claim Mayor Bass is a party to the spreading this terror.  Is there a more vile or incompetent Mayor in the nation?  In point of fact, if she's supporting all this criminal activity, then she's a criminal also.  

This is not an exercise in free speech, it's an insurrection, and since so many foreign flags are being raised on American soil in the midst of all that violence, it's not unreasonable to call this an insurrection, or even an invasion. Mayor Bass even admits that if the administration weren’t enforcing the law, there would have been no “disorder”, and to quote Chris Cillizza:  they will not win saying it's colossally stupid for Democrats to fight Trump on this.

I agree this is colossally stupid but no matter how stupid this may be, the Democrats are now caught between a rock and a hard place.  Democrats have no choice, they need illegals, for three reasons.  

1. They're losing their former constituencies, having abandoned the middle class, the working class, and the small business owners.
2. They can't win without voter fraud, and they need numbers to rig the elections.
3. Then comes the 2030 census.  You can bet after the 2030 census California will lose seats in the Congress, along with Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and New York.  All states heading into financial problems and possible bankruptcy, with higher taxes, much higher taxes, as more people leave these leftist wastelands of puni high taxes,huge unpayable debt, and regulations taking their bucks elsewhere.
4.  Along with other solid Democrat stronghold states.   Since they're losing a lot of their legal population, they need as many illegals as they can harbor. 

Senator Cruz states factually the Democrat party is the party of violence, and even Democrat Senator Fetterman  blasts Democratic response to LA 'chaos saying the party 'loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire'.  

Gavin Newsom is on the best of occasions vile.  Ignoring California's descent into lawlessness, murder, rape, drug dealing, much of it by illegal immigrants,  Newsom blames Feds for L.A. riots, so he's suing the Trump administration for what he calls an illegal takeover of the CA National Guard, a suit in which he's likely to lose.  He calls sending in the Marines 'deranged', because according the him all this burning and violence isn't an insurrection!’  

Is this an illegal takeover of the National Guard?  Not as long as the Constitution exists.  The President is totally within his rights as Commander in Chief to activate the National Guard and place it under his command in face of an insurrection, and this is an insurrection, and yesterday a Clinton judge agreed, at least for the time being. 

Remarkable, nothing.... and I mean nothing....  like this occurred on January 6th, and the democrats... all in lock step.... called that an insurrection that almost topple the nation.  Imagine that.   Andrea Widburg's article, Gavin Newsom makes clear who’s at fault in Los Angeles, explaining it's Gavin Newsom's who's at fault, an explains why, and she's supported in her view by Riverside County Sheriff Bianco saying: 

He despises the enforcement of law, and he has encouraged this. He has enabled this lawless act that is going on right now. This has been years in the making that he has encouraged. So quite frankly I don’t care what he says. He says everything in a disingenuous manner for his own political gain and we are suffering the consequences.

Should Newsom be arrested for his vile behavior?  While I think he should, right along with Mayor Bass, but I don't think it will happen, however, hope springs eternal, as Homan has stated, CA officials are also subject to prosecution if they ‘cross the line’, so, maybe, we'll see.  Perhaps as U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli notes, Gavin Newsom needs to turn on his TV. 

One last thought.  In 2021 "Clinton, Bush, and Obama publicly condemned the Capitol protests by pro-Trump supporters on January 6 of that year, calling them an attack on our democratic values.  They issued their statements on the very day of the event".  What are they saying about this actual insurrection taking place in L.A.?  Nothing!  And we're shocked why? 

Passover and Leftist Jews: A Study in Insanity

On April 12, 2025 Daniel Greenfield posted this article, Jewish Democratic Council of America Compares Trump to Pharaoh for Deporting Hamas Supporters, noting the view of Jews who are avid supporters of the Democrat party believe the true spirit of Passover is to support Hamas, and Trump deporting them is like Pharaoh.  Do you think that's convoluted thinking?  It gets better. 

He goes on to quote "Halie Soifer, the head of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, and a former foreign policy advisor to Kamala" saying:

Trump appears to be a modern-day Pharaoh, and we must liberate ourselves and our country from his tyranny, ......We also remain committed to freeing Americans from the oppression emanating from this White House. Antisemitism is on the rise, and President Trump has fueled the fire at home and abroad. 

In addition, legal residents and others are being illegally detained and, in some cases, deported without due process. Much of this is happening in our name, ostensibly to “fight antisemitism,” while in reality, it’s an extension of the White House’s attacks on higher education, immigrants, and free speech.

Even if we disagree with the content of the speech, freedom should mean the same thing for all people, and due process must be granted. Enough is enough of Donald Trump using the Jewish community as an excuse to deprive people of their rights and deport people ‘for their beliefs.'

So, deporting those who love terrorizing Jewish students on American campuses, support killing Jews, killing Americans, killing Christians, and destroying western civilization need to be protected from President Trump, because that's "fueling the fire of antisemitism like Pharaoh"?  Did I get that right?  Yep, I did!  Does that sound insane to anyone besides me?  Yep, that's insane. 

Daniel goes on to define this insanity:

The true meaning of liberation on Passover… is supporting the freedom to call for the murder of Jews. That’s the word from the ‘Jewish’ branch of the Democratic Party.  This is leftist replacement theology being weaponized to defend antisemitism and the murder of Jews. In Haile Soifer’s complete moral inversion, defending Jews makes one into Pharaoh while supporting those who kill Jews is the true spirit of Passover liberation.

I recommend taking a look at the reader comments section, which shows a lot of people think that's insane, and they're right.  

In Chapter Six, Into the Whirlwind, of Tony Judt's book, Postwar, A history of Europe since 1945, he describes how Stalin, an ardent antisemite, and all the Eastern European communist dictators Stalin installed purged even their own party members.  Torture, forced confessions, show trials, and then execution, and lucky if sent to many years in prison, or a Siberian gulag, or work camp.  And they did it to a lot of them.  In these atheist societies the leader is a demigod, and his plans are divine, so when the plans fail it must because someone is undermining the plan.  So, someone must be  blamed, and Judt made it clear in the eyes of these dictators, if they were Jews, all the better.   

These were not practicing Jews, they were ardent communist atheists who were foundational in creating these atheistic tyrannical governments and even responsible for purging members on demand on orders from from Stalin, like Trotsky who Stalin had assassinated in Mexico. But they were Jews anyway, and if the leftist Jews in western civilization thinks anything would be different with their support of Islam now, they're grossly mistaken.   Antisemitism is foundational to Islam and has been for almost 1500 years, and to leftism since it's founding with the French Revolution.  That's history, and that history is incontestable, and nothing has changed except the faces of the fools who fall for their insane narratives.

Democrat Party is In a Complete State of Weird

Remember when during the 2024 campaign the Democrats keep calling Republicans weird, which caused a lot of head shaking, eye rolling and chucking among conservatives, especially with Tim Walz made such accusations.  Well, let's explore this.

 

After watching what's been happening since Trump won the election and then heaped a ton of "I'm gonna fix it" on the structure of the federal government the Democrats are frothing at the mouth, demonstrating they're just as insane, corrupt, clueless, and stupid as we've been saying they are.  They're leaderless with no message other than "we will destroy Trump even if we have to destroy America", which has been their real goal right along.  

 

But to be fair, let's take a look at all this from the Democrats point of view and you will see how they can be so incensed at Trump.

What do you mean he’s suing fake news reporters for slander?  He can’t do that!  How will we force-feed lies to the public?  

He’s withholding federal funds from universities that allow Islamic supremacists to terrorize Jewish students and brawny men to beat up women in sports?  But that’s Islamophobic and “trans”-phobic!  The “Science” is settled!  Islamic violence is free speech, and biological sex is just a social construct!  

He’s removing security clearances for leftist law firms that work to undermine elections and misuse federal surveillance systems to spy on political opponents? That’s not fair — lawfare is our favorite weapon!  We can’t win without rigged elections!

What’s the MAGA despot going to do next — start firing federal workers and exposing how we use taxpayer dollars to fill our own personal piggy banks?  Stop, don’t tell me!  I don’t want to know!  I can’t take it anymore!

And the hits just keep right on coming.  Put your hands together reality fans, Hillary Clinton is now back in the hunt to be the Democrat nominee to be President in 2028.  And we're shocked why?  

 

The Democratic Party is in total disarray. Nobody’s in charge! The Obama-Biden cabal has left the building, Pelosi has health issues, and Schumer is struggling to stave off a rebellion. It’s complete and utter chaos.

 

Clinton is wantonly corrupt, vile, clueless, and a shifting moral code to meet the mood of the moment.  The perfect Democrat candidate to fill a power vacuum, but she's not alone.  Let's look at the some of the potential nominees being floated by the media.   First there's Gavin Newsom and Crazy Tim Walz, both of whom are struggling to appear normal obviating their history of weirdness, and even attempting to look sane, but given their history how could anyone possibly believe they're normal or sane, especially since the Pravda media can no longer mold the nation's views. 

 

Then there's  AOC, Buttigieg, Rahm Emanuel, Kamala, and watch out now, here it comes, Jamie Crockett. Imagine that.  If the Democrat party was a major league ball team with a bench like that they'd be at the bottom of the standings.  But this is politics, and success in politics doesn't require being successful at .... wellll.... anything, just like Kamala Harris who made a career out of failure. 

Mark Lewis asks if Democrats are evil or stupid and answers....yes!  He goes on to note a lot of people like his sister has her mind made up and will not allow contrary opinions or facts get in the way.  He goes on to say:

If a person starts with the wrong premise, he’ll always have the wrong conclusions, regardless of how “intelligent” he might be.  “The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of knowledge.”  If people don't start with that premise, they will always end up with the wrong answers.  If I'm in Dallas and want to go to Los Angeles, if I head north, I won’t arrive in LA because I'm going in the wrong direction. Many so-called “intelligent” people do just that. Their IQs may be very high, but they've begun with the wrong premise, and thus, they will forever reach the wrong conclusions.

That's a mental affliction I call the, the plague of preconceptualism, and it infects everything!  Whether it's  science,  economics, or reality, which encompasses politics.   Definition leads to clarity, and Eric Utter does a great job of defining what mental gymnastics it takes to be a democrat.  Here's his list with some additions and a lot of paraphrasing from me.  

You trust the Pravda media and believe it's the source of truth.  You believe truth is propaganda and that propaganda is truth, and that everything .... everything.... including inanimate objects are racist, clear signs of “white male patriarchy”, justifying becoming outraged at any black who supports Republicans.  You believe Elon Musk is trying to steal from you, so attacking Tesla owners, fire bombing their cars and Tesla dealerships, is an act of patriotism, along with death threats and violence to conservatives, and violence provoked by “misgendering” are acts of patriotism. 

You believe any effort to create a fair balance in trade is wrong, that the "top 1% of income earners, who pay 40+% of all income taxes, should pay far more as their “fair share”.  Your sure the world is about to burn up as a result of global warming so destroying the use of traditional energy sources is justified, even if that should cause billions of people to die, and that plants and animals have rights equal to humans. 

You’re a woman who engages in unprotected casual sex and gets pregnant, but fail to take responsibility for your actions accusing folks who are anti-abortion are trying to “force you to have a baby”, refusing to accept abortion is the murder of an innocent unborn.  You think a biological man can be a woman, capable of menstruating and bearing children.  You believe Joe Biden's neurological problems was evidence of a sound and sable mind and Trump's attempting to fix the massive corruption going on in government is evidence of an unstable mind.

That Joe's importation of "millions" of migrants, many of whom were part of transnational criminal organizations, was compassionate justice, and totally confident there's no reason in the world why they should assimilate and we should change to accommodate them, and Trump's deporting them is a gross injustice and a violation of their "illegal" rights. 

You believe the current crop of potential Democrat nominees are competent, sane, intelligent and selflessly working for the good of the nation and Tim Walz would have been an infinitely better Vice President than Vance, and it's vital America defends Ukraine no matter the cost or consequences, and Hamas is not a murderous terror organization, but freedom fighters who are being abused by Israel, and think it's perfectly normal for homosexuals to strongly support Hamas.  And you must absolutely believe using guns to defend your family from rape and murder is terrible. 

What confuses conservatives is how Democrats are capable of totally disregarding factual reality, since such thinking would outrage conservatives if the Republicans embraced such insanity. 

 

It’s Not the Message. It’s the Madness -  You’ve likely heard the phrase, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Seems like good advice, especially when the hole is of your own making. But watching the Democratic Party’s ongoing meltdown—highlighted by their most recent “off the rails” DNC meeting—it’s clear they’ve lost the shovel, the ladder, and the will to climb out  Let’s be clear: it’s not hard to fix the Democratic Party’s problems. They know exactly what’s broken. They just don’t want to fix it.  Instead of offering ideas, vision, and solutions, they’ve tripled down on their Trump Derangement Syndrome. A recent DNC event—meant to be a serious discussion of strategy and policy—turned into a carnival of anti-Trump hysteria. That’s not a platform. That’s a group therapy session.

What about all those who attended and booed Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) at her town hall event.  Well the fact is these are activists, most likely paid activists, who invade these town hall meetings, but they do not represent the people of these states.  Hageman won by almost 40 points in her primary, and "the people of Wyoming don’t care" what these misfits think, say or do, "which is why Liz Cheney is out of a job."   

Let's end for now with this piece by Jeff Davidson, Our Well-Entrenched Internal Enemies Jeff Davidson saying:

Our Founding Fathers knew it. Abraham Lincoln knew it and Donald Trump knows it: The greatest threat to United States has always been internal enemies........ This is no alarmist view or a delusion.......From foreign influence peddling and kickbacks, to extortion, to racketeering, to assaults on crypto currencies, to weaponizing Federal agencies, to colluding with state AGs and municipal DAs, to spying on Americans, to intimidating media organizations, to ignoring Supreme Court decisions, to harassing selected taxpayers, to indicting and jailing political opponents, to bogus billion-dollar budget allocations, and to systematically weakening border control, Joe Biden’s Leftist puppet masters became more brazen. Armed with an autopen, they turned the Biden Administration into a lawless regime culminating in Joe Biden to having to pardon his own family. Then they selected Kamala Harris, a notably empty shell, to replace Biden in the 2024 election.

And this is what the Democrat party is fighting to preserve, and none of them think that's weird. Remarkable!

Have We Lost Our Minds?

I often have “why” questions. I've always loved reading history, as a result I have often asked; “why did they do that?” History isn’t just about dates, events and places. History is about people and why they do what they do. It is about human psychology, human wants, needs and desires. It is about human flaws in action and thinking. That's the beauty and wisdom of history. It is the fruition of the actions of millions of people over the course of thousands of years, and that fruit of wisdom is ours for the plucking.

As you grow older and really delve deeply into the history of the world you find that real history goes way beyond what must be considered the blatant propaganda taught in the lower schools. Perfectly understandable propaganda mind you, after all, most countries don’t want their children to learn about the unpleasant things that are a part of their heritage until they have learned the good things, the honorable things, the things that make it possible for a society to become whole, especially one such as ours; a diverse society which became the only truly successful melting pot of cultures in the world. Something that was truly alien in so many countries in the world, and to a large extent still is.

The big difference, and the beauty of our culture versus the rest of the world is that we have access to the damning information about America; the kind of information completely hidden from citizens of other cultures about their cultures. We have the opportunity to see all of our warts and scars, repent of them, fix them, and become all the better for it as a society, even if it is in our own personal way. We can’t fix our flaws if we can’t see them. 

It's still very difficult to get information of the Rape of Nanking in Japan, which has been referred to as the forgotten holocaust of WWII. We don't hear much about it here either because the left controls the schools now and they subscribe to the idea that the only evil ever done in the world was done by Americans. So then, shouldn't we be asking why was America so successful merging so many diverse cultures? Why are so many people striving to come here if America is so bad?

Those who came here in the past all wanted to add to the American culture; not change it into the very thing they fled. My great grandparents and grandparents came from Serbia. They came here to become Americans who just happened to be Serbian. They did not come here to be Serbians who happened to live in America. The other side of my family is Croatian. So I am half Serbian and half Croatian. I tell people jokingly that I have been fighting with myself my whole life. Why? Because war and violence between them went on for centuries. Yet, that age old problem that went on for hundreds of years was solved in less than one generation here.

I also have a contingent of Italian family members and a third cousin who is half Filipino and others who are Hispanic. Only in America! But only because we all shared a common vision as to how the world should work, and how we should conduct ourselves. My great grandparents and grandparents learned to speak, read and write English so that their children and grandchildren wouldn’t have to pay the penalty they were paying. A penalty they were happy to pay I might add, because they knew it was a penalty worth paying.

It wasn’t easy as it is today. My great grandparents didn’t know that my grandmother had to go to school until she was old enough to be in the third grade, which is where they started her. She didn’t speak a word of English. The teacher couldn’t understand her and decided that her name was “Annie”. My grandmother was 90 when she died and there were people who still knew her as Annie. She was never offended. It just wasn’t that important to her compared to the benefits she received for she and her family by just being here.

She learned to speak, read and write English, which both she and my grandfather were very proud of that.  They became citizens, and my grandmother even became a Democrat party committee woman. So, I don’t have a lot of compassion for the whines of the lefties over this. The result? One of her children became the president of a United Auto Workers local. Another became an engineer working for a major airplane manufacturer with forty engineers working for him, and he never finished high school. Another became a successful small business owner. Many of their grandchildren became business owners. 

These immigrants were on the lowest rung on the social ladder in their homelands, but they were the best that Europe had to offer. Smart, tough, hardworking, religious, self-sacrificing and family oriented. Those are the base components of a stable society and when any one of them is missing the whole structure erodes; slowly perhaps, but the downward spiral is unmistakable. The sad thing about grandparents is that they die before you are old enough to fully appreciate what amazing people they truly were.

Today we see people who are descendants of those immigrants who have lived in the best culture the world has ever known and yet hate that culture. 

• They rant unendingly against its perceived inequities, screaming for social and environmental justice. 
• Demand everyone should live at exactly the same life style as everyone else, irrespective of what they're willing to work for. 
• In spite of the fact that American capitalism raised more people out of misery, squalor and suffering than any other system the world has ever known.

Socialism exists primarily in its communist and fascist forms. Fascism as a leftist movement became defined (mostly by Mussolini) in the early 20th century as the right wing of socialism and communism as the left wing, but they are both totalitarian.  Both subscribe to the philosophy of the “19th century German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel”, who was the “most influential philosopher of the Left -- inspiring Karl Marx, the American "Progressives" of the early 20th century and university socialists to this day” that;

"All the worth which the human being possesses, all spiritual reality, he possesses only through the State."

Those socialist, communist, and so-called  “progressive states” that have taken on the mantel of Godhood has brought nothing but death, destruction, starvation, mass murder, misery and suffering at a level that is unparalleled in human history.   If dystopia is the true child of socialism, and it is, then why then to do so many in the western world embrace and praise those who practice this demented philosophy?

For some reason they hate America, which means they hate Americans who practice and believe in American exceptionalism and capitalism. But that leaves them in a quandary. The normal functioning of the human mind is to be judgmental, how else can you determine what is true and false. What works and what doesn’t work. What information to discard and what information to embrace.  Since they hate everything about America their minds force them to look for alternatives.   Alternatives they absolutely believe in ---alternatives they are allowed to believe in because they are living here that is! 

• Here, where they don’t have to face the consequences of their passion for alternative lives or government. 
• Here, where they can believe any idiotic thing they wish to believe without being persecuted. 

Yet they hate the system that permits their actions, largely without penalty. I have to wonder if they are sane!

A former Muslim man in Afghanistan was going to be executed because he converted to Christianity and refused to give up the convictions of his conscience; to give up his faith. This is from a society that preaches and demands the destruction of anyone who disagrees with them, including those who share the same faith with some differences, as in the Sunni and Shiite sects. Yet these lefties embrace and excuse them as if they are allies.  Allies who only have one thing in common.  Their hatred of Americans and American capitalism and American tolerance! Why? Do they really believe that if Sharia was imposed they would be allowed to practice their political philosophy and personal moral passions as they do now? They would be among the first to be killed! When I read their views on this I wonder if they are sane.

A number of years ago, quite a number of years now, there were demonstrations against some world economic summit (I think it was in Seattle, there have been so many I can’t remember for sure) and the policies being outlined there. One National Public Radio interviewer (Yes...I actually listened to NPR) asked a young woman demonstrator what they were against and why. She made her case and then the interviewer asked her, “What alternatives do you offer”? She very confidently and smugly stated that “great minds” were working on this. Remember, this is NPR so I was amazed at his next question. “So then, you have no alternatives?” She wasn’t so smug at this point, but fell back on to her “great minds” claptrap. 

The greenies and the lefties are all part of the same package. There is a reason greenies are called watermelons, green on the outside, and red on the inside.

• The lefties embrace economic concepts that have been shown to be so seriously flawed that no matter how many times they are tried they fail. 
• They eschew concepts that no matter how many times they are tried they succeed. 
• They rant, rave, demonstrate, destroy property, and attack people (physically and personally) while claiming to be paragons of compassion. 
• They scream disruptively, and throw pies in the faces of speakers in an attempt to silence their views, while claiming to be the ultimate defenders of free speech. 
• They illegally occupy public places without permission or compensation. 
• They leave violence and filth behind. 
• While screaming that they have rights they completely ignore the legitimate rights of others. 
• They embrace extremist and murderous dictators while decrying ever action taken to defend the innocent here. 
• The greenies rant, rave, demonstrate, destroy property, and attack people (physically and personally) because they're defenders of the Earth and its inhabitants. 
• They embrace anti-pesticide, anti-development, anti-modern agricultural policies that have been shown to be destructive to the health and well being of societies. 
• They demand that chlorine be taken out of our water in spite of the fact that when they got South American countries to do so, hundreds died and tens of thousands became sickened. Yet they claim that they are doing it “for the children”. 
• They embrace energy concepts that have failed over and over again in the past. 
• Eventually they turn against any of the alternatives to so-called fossil fuels they support. 

Why? Because they cannot be pleased! The concepts of the green movement are based on leftist hate, compounded by anger, jealousy, envy, and violence. Without hate they cannot exist. Happy people cannot be haters and haters cannot be happy. As a result there is nothing you do that will ever satisfy them. Is it unreasonable to wonder if they are sane?

Other than their hatred, what are the primary things they have in common? 

• None of them has an affinity for the truth. 
• None of them has any real compassion for humanity. 
• None of them have any solutions that work. 

The reality is that they are really great at finding fault, but their failure and incompetence at finding solutions is legendary.  

I read an article about a Lutheran church that had an event of "guided meditations" "by a high priestess of the pagan fertility goddess Isis." They refer to this as the "fifth annual Faith and Feminism Conference" hosted by the "Ebenezer Lutheran Church in San Francisco, which bills itself as "herchurch." The article goes on to say, "Among the scheduled participants is Loreon Vigne, high priestess of Isis Oasis – a temple, retreat and animal sanctuary Vigne founded in 1978 in Geyserville, Calif. "I personally see Isis as Mother Nature," Vigne says, "and that she encompasses everything with her wings. She's a winged goddess. She encompasses any other goddess from any culture."

• Goal 27 of the 45 Communist Goals to Destroy America as Listed in the 1963 Congressional Record:  Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch” [i.e., this basically predicted the rise of “social justice”].

You know.....you just can't make this stuff up. It's one thing when concern about the environment turns into a pseudo-pagan secular religion, and another thing when the media, the universities and government agencies are complicit with this. After all, the kind of Druidic paganism that environmentalism has become has been very subtle. But what's wrong with the minds of those in their own churches (especially their leaders) who adopt this stuff right out in the open?  One has to wonder if they're sane.

One the things the founding fathers never considered was the idea that this nation would be based on anything except Judaic/Christian principles. It was obvious to them that Christian thought was so far superior to everything else that no one would even consider anything else. Boy, were they wrong! In ancient Israel the Jews adopted local pagan religions practices and pagan gods on an ongoing basis over the centuries. 

The priests even had pagan images right in the Temple at one point. I used to wonder how such a thing could occur; after all they did have a permanent priesthood that was supposed to have all the knowledge necessary to stand against such actions. 

It turns out they were the parties most guilty of these actions. They didn't do this all by themselves either. Between the ruling classes and their society as a whole, this is what people wanted and they went along with and found "reasons" to justify it. I have no doubt that every argument that is heard today about inclusion was used then. There is nothing new under that sun and apparently there is no level of gullibility that is too great for humanity to swallow. Going along to get along requires a degree of gullibility. Gullibility is a first cousin to stupid and you can't fix stupid!

How did our culture come to this. Why as a society do we listen to these people? As a society I then have to ask; is it unreasonable to wonder if we are sane?

DOGE and The Democrat Party: When You Sow the Wind, You Reap the Whirlwind, Part VI

The left is in total meltdown over the staggering abuses being exposed by Trump's DOGE team led by Elon Musk, and they want it stopped, but they won't, and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Failing is what they do best in the Trump era. Even now, in desperation, they are showing themselves as buffoons, crass ideologues and stupid politicians, three circles of intellectually challenged cretins who would make for an interesting Venn diagram. ..........The last thing they want is for you to know how the financing game is played and how they have colluded to deceive you since Obama was first elected to office.......... I don’t think Democrats can come up with enough cloud cover to hide the sunlight.......

Where in the world do they find people like this. Rep. Hoyle says when the budget comes up for a vote in March, the Democrats will shut down the government to prevent funding Trump's agenda, as it undermines the "American people"!  Really, what American people is she referencing?  Are they the corrupt bureaucrats?  Or perhaps it's the corrupt politicians? 

Actually, I agree, shutting down the government is a good idea, but she won't like to outcome.   Shutting down the government will just make it easier to get rid of thousands of unneeded bureaucrats, and continue to expose them as "buffoons, crass ideologues, stupid politicians, ][and] intellectually challenged cretins". 

To justify her outrage she claims Elon Musk bought the election, and their big argument is no one voted for Musk.  Well no one voted for Musk because he wasn't on the ballot, so of course no one voted for him.  However, they did vote for the man who hired him, Donald Trump.  Do you really think they believe Musk is the shadow president?  If they believe that, they must be nuts.   She claims Trump has no intentions of lowering prices...."in the short term".  What about the long term?  

As for those prices she's so worried about, one has to ask: Whose responsible for those prices?  The man who's been in office for less than thirty days or the man who left office after four years of staggering incompetence and corruption? 

Let's see if I got this right.  She thinks saving the taxpayers trillions of dollars and eliminating tens of thousands of unneeded bureaucrats, reducing insane insane regulations, and potentially reducing the budget by a possible two trillion dollars is bad for the economy?  Did I get that right?  Did I miss something in her logic, or is her rant as insane, irrational, and as stupid as I think it is?  What's really scary is wondering who her constituents are, and that she may be the brightest pebble in that brook, except she's from Oregon, and there are darn few bright pebbles in that brook.

She's claiming the Trump administration's attack on a stunningly corrupt, bloated, and destructive bureaucracy isn't doing anything to address prices, or the nation's economy, it's just "retribution".   If this is retribution, then based on what DOGE has exposed in just a few days firmly proves we need more of it.  

She claims House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is their leader and they'll do whatever he wants them to do.  Well, Stalinists will always be Stalinists, but if they're going to do whatever he wants, I think we need to ask: What does he want, and what solution is he offering?  

Jeffries wants to launch a “Rapid Response Task Force and "Litigation Working Group” to “protect and defend "everyday Americans" from the harm being inflicted by this administration.”............“House Democrats are committed to driving down high costs of living for everyday Americans,”......... “We recognize that there are far too many people in this country struggling to live paycheck to paycheck… We will continue to solve problems for hardworking American taxpayers. "  Really?  When did that concern for the economics of "everyday Americans" start? 

As for the harm, I have to ask exactly what harm is he talking about?  Why didn't he outline a bullet point presentation showing the terrible harm they want to prevent?  He didn't because he can't.  It's the same old rhetorical leftist play book strategy: All hat and no cattle!  

But perhaps I'm being unfair and I'm misjudging him, so, let's take a look.

 

1. Perhaps he's concerned that education in America is a very expensive failure.  No, that's a Democrat initiative.   
2. How about the fact FEMA Spent $59 Million on Housing Illegal Immigrants in NYC Hotels?  No, that's a Democrat solution. 
3. How about his views on immigration issues where in a public park a woman replaced American flag with the Mexican flag and then threatened the police.  No, that's a Democrat priority.
4. Then there's the Idaho National Guard which now has a formal policy to keep Christians out of command roles.  No, I think that's a Democrat mental disorder.
   
5. Or perhaps he's really upset at a judiciary that would throw a sick 78 year old woman into prison for her pr0-life positions and mock Christianity.  No, for the Democrat party those are sacred tenets of their leftist secular atheistic pseudo-pagan religion.
   
6. Then of course there's the issue of Ford losing $5.1 billion on electric vehicles in 2024!  No the Democrats were directly responsible for that.  

7. 

   How about Chelsea Clinton receiving $84 million in taxpayer funding?  No, that's another corrupt Democrat scheme. 
   
8. Perhaps it's the evidence that Obama may have committed treason that disturbs him? Now, perhaps we're on to something, since  that's not a Democrat scheme, it's DOGE exposing any treason or corruption to which the Democrat party may be guilty, and I can understand why he'd be concerned about that. 
   

The Democrat party a reality Gong Show, except all the insane actors are in Congress, and the party is an insane asylum being run by lunatics.  

Watching all of the Democrat’s behavior now, how can anyone honestly believe that they are anything but mentally unhinged? .........Democrats always resort to tantrums and theatrics.

It appears Jeffries' claims that Trump is causing economic disaster for the American people are a bit hard to prove, and the reason why is that claim is totally unfounded, and the Democrat claim that Trump is screwing up is confirmation Trump needs to double down on his efforts.  

The left is like Satan, constantly changing itself into an angel of light.  All those high costs and fragile economic issues emanate directly from Democrat party rule, with a little help from their friends, the RINO's.   Whether it's racism, economics, environment, or any issue they embrace it's all emotional showmanship in order to fool the public in order to get and hold power allowing they and their allies to enrich themselves at the expense of "everyday Americans", who they've been robbing for decades.  

It's been the greatest heist of all time, and if Trump can finish what he's started the "everyday American people", who the Democrats claim they're so worried about, will finally learn what has really been going on and nothing will be the same again. 

Ya just can't make this stuff up, and ya can't fix stupid.  But one thing must be clear to the most casual observer, the left is in serious need of mental health help. 

 

Hello Hollywood, Welcome to Reality, Part III

Yesterday I posted Part II, and I did what I'm doing a lot more now, and that's linking followup articles as updates at the end of my commentaries in order to make sure the whole story gets told.  But the number of commentaries about this became so large I decided to eliminate those links and use them, and a lot more besides, to create a second piece, a third piece, and at the rate this is going, there will most likely be a fourth piece.    

Last Saturday in, P&D and the Week That Was,  I stated:

As for the L.A. fire disaster, which my first article covers, as this unravels it's really gonna get ugly as these misfits finger point and blame each other, and even some will condemn the Democrat party.  Many I'm sure will try to project their blame on Trump, Republicans, conservatives, etc.  

Well, that's what's happening and it didn't really take much insight to conclude that what was going to happen.   One Democrat Senator claims this is just a preview of what's to come under Trump blaming big oil, global warming.

Okay, supposing that has any resemblance to reality, then one has to ask, why is it happening now? Biden has been President for four years, and the entire administration has breathed the fumes of the fever swamps of global warming activists and have acted accordingly.  If that's so, and it is, then can he explain why this isn't the fault of California Democrats, and the Democrat party and Biden?  

If they really believed climate change is responsible for all of this, and given California's wildfire and wind history they should have known this was a major possibility, so why weren't they prepared?  Where were the firebreaks?  Why wasn't brush cleared out?  Why were the reservoirs empty in spite of record rain fall? Where was the maintenance on the fire hydrants?  Even if they didn't believe in global warming given California's history that should have automatically been standard operating procedure. 

Mad Maxine knows who really is responsible. It's the rich.  The usual leftist meme:  Blame someone else for their failures. Gavin Newsome blames local leaders, and as it turns out....according to Newsome, he's blameless and demands answers, and besides it's really all Donald Trump's fault.  Yet it wasn't the local authorities or Trump who cut $100 Million from California's fire prevention budget in 2024, it wasn't local officials who fought the Trump administration that tried to stop the misdirection of water to alleged save any number of fish species.  It wasn't local officials or Trump who removed four hydroelectric dams that by their very nature were water reservoirs.  It was Newsome. 

Here's the one I really like.  FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell blames global warming....well... they all know the planet isn't warming so they've changed it to climate change.  The department that played politics ( Here and Here), with a history of throwing Americans under the bus, you would think their concerns would be fixing what they're doing that has been so disastrously wrong!  But it isn't, in spite of all that, it's real challenge and concern is disinformation.  (More Here)

They failed miserably to care for hurricane victims in North Carolina, claiming they didn't have sufficient funds to help them, and as it turns out FEMA's resources were going to illegal aliens. (More Here and Here)

 (End of the American Dream)—What we are witnessing in the mountains of North Carolina says a lot about where we are as a nation.  The federal response to Hurricane Helene has been absolutely abysmal, and hardly anyone is really surprised by this because the federal government can’t seem to do anything right these days.  

And it gets worse as this piece shows how politics was paramount with the Biden administration, not duty.   

A clip from a FEMA disaster preparedness meeting has sparked fresh outrage, shedding light on the Biden-Harris administration’s politically motivated handling of disaster response efforts. The footage, recorded in March 2023, shows FEMA Emergency Management Specialist Tyler Atkins prioritizing the needs of LGBTQIA+ communities over broader disaster relief efforts.

So, why am I bringing in all this FEMA stuff?  For the best reason in the world.  It demonstrates a pattern of activity.  A pattern of corruption and stupidity.   FEMA just kicked out 2000 hurricane survivors out of temporary housing into snowstorm and freezing temperatures.  What FEMA was and is doing,  is what what California has been doing.   

The reasons for California's failure to control this fire is nothing more than a demonstration of what the left are doing all over the nation.  Corruption, incompetence, stupidity, politics over duty and responsibility.   The Democrats have handed conservatives a major gift, and this may become a major turning point in American politics.  

The Fire Chief says her diversity push had nothing to do with this disaster.  Okay, I'm willing to accept that if she's willing to accept her incompetence and stupidity played a large role in this disaster.  She was part of the program that caused a lack of resources.  She knew fire hydrants would not work, she knew the reservoirs were dry, or not working, and she was responsible for that failure because her focus was on hiring more women and spending what resources she had on DEI training instead of fire prevention and control.  

California has rewritten the laws to make penalties for crime as painless as possible as a result looting is rampant, and now people are outraged, imagine that, so now there's a recall movement for Karen Bass.   Make no mistake, as Governor DeSantis notes, if Newsom, or for that matter Bass, were Republicans the media would be tearing their heads off.  But have no doubt the people of California and L.A. will elect someone just as worthless as these nitwits.

The people of California, totally supported by a corrupt media, elected Newsome twice and supported him against a recall.  Whether all that was fraudulent or not, he's their guy, and now they have to pay the price.  Schadenfreude.
