L.A. Riots, Part V

What we're seeing in Los Angeles is a full blown insurrection. 

Buildings have been burned. Vehicles set aflame. Federal officers assaulted. Immigration enforcement disrupted. And worst of all, those organizing and fueling the chaos are openly and proudly doing so under the false pretense that Los Angeles is a “sanctuary city,” immune from federal immigration law.

This isn't about free speech, and the President has every right to nationalize the California National Guard, and send in Marines, and can do so under the Insurrection Act of 1807, which the "law allows the president to deploy the National Guard or other U.S. military personnel to put down an uprising that interferes with the rights of the populace if “the constituted authorities of that state are unable, fail, or refuse” to do so."

It provides some of the only exceptions to the Posse Comitatus Act, an 1878 law that generally forbids the use of the military against American citizens. Those exceptions include suppressing insurrections, enforcing federal authority, and protecting civil rights when state authorities fail to act........George Washington called up state militias under the 1792 law to suppress the Whiskey Rebellion.........Abraham Lincoln at the outset of the Civil War, and afterward by President Ulysses S. Grant against the Ku Klux Klan........Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy invoked it during desegregation disputes in the South.

And the majority of Americans approve, as hundreds of Marines move in, and these riots are boosting Trump in the polls.  The rioters and their supporters are the losers, if for no other reason Trump Is the only one restoring order in Los Angeles.

In times past these misfits would riot, burn, murder, rape and the nation's "leaders" crumbled, but this is Donald Trump, it's not Tim Walz who allowed Minneapolis to burn.  Trump won't fall for any of that, and in point of fact, he's doubling down on his deportation plans, especially for L.A.  

 

Another political hack masquerading as a federal judge says Trump misused the law and ordered him to return control of the California National Guard to Newsom, who along with Mayor Bass should probably be arrested, but that's apparently part of the plan.  At any rate, that judgement hasn't stopped anything, he's been overruled, and there's a lot of movement behind the scenes to deal with these radical out of control judges. 

 

Let's take a look at who ICE has been arresting, murderers, child predators, assailants amid riots, gang members, and violent gun, drug and sex offenders.  Tom Homan has made it clear, ICE ain’t leaving, they're not going to stop arresting illegals, and he intends to even investigate cartel money laundering.

 

And ICE isn't stopping with L.A.  ICE has arrested 72 illegals in South Caroline linked to a Mexican cartel, and the anti-ICE rioters in NYC didn't prevent arrests there.

 

Democrats been stoking this violence against ICE agents, but Governor Newsom is claiming Trump’s ‘shock troops’ are the ones who are out of control.   But it's the Angelinos who are disrupting ICE raids in downtown Los Angeles, one rioter punched a punched a Customs and Border Protection officer, and there's a 500% increase in assaults against ICE agents trying to arrest illegal aliens.   

 

According the left and their catspaws in the media, this is all "mostly peaceful",  and it's absolutely not an insurrection like January 6th was, where there were no buildings burned, no one was raped, no one was murdered, no one working for illegal gangs, not one car was burned, and no police were attacked.   Remarkable!
