The Transformation of the FBI

Obama said he intended to "fundamentally transform the United States", and he did so cleverly and subtly by implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion cancerous programs into every government agency, academia, and even commerce.  By using our own values against us he was able to spread this national cancer.  

The FBI is totally contaminated with this at the highest levels, how bad it is among the rank and file is debatable . We'll soon see, but as of right now it's obvious from their actions over the New Orleans New Year's Day terror attack claiming it was "not an act of terrorism"....... "we were probably witnessing another example of failed DEI schemes. No more are agents with years of criminal investigative experience running things...." continuing to befoul itself as they cover for terrorists, and Joe Biden.  It's clear cleaning out that Augean stable will be a Herculean task, and now that we absolutely know Islamic terrorism is alive in America, one has to wonder how much responsibility for this falls on the FBI, as it's clear the FBI has an insane terror agenda.  It's also most like we have a sleeping dragon in our midst.

For years the FBI has been focused on "white supremacist terrorism", conservatives, anti-abortionists, traditional Christians, Latin preferring Catholics, traditional Jews, patriotic veterans, and anyone who subscribes to traditional western Judaic/Christian values.  So it's easy to understand why they can't find Muslim terrorists.  You can't catch what you're not looking for.   As the author states:

Large-scale deportations and increased internal surveillance are the order of the day. It is not racism to protect your citizens. Islamic terror has taken many lives, and authorities are fully justified in putting their attention more on Muslims than say Jews, Hindus, and Christians due to Muslims being involved in far more mass-casualty events than the latter. If the officials do not act and get over their fear of looking racist, then a caliphate in Europe is a given, the only thing not known is the specific date of its realization.  And the U.S. can expect more attacks while the feds look for their terrorists in the cornfields and behind the barn.

The New Orleans attack is Muslim terror on a global scale, and the Bourbon Street massacre is what it looks like.  There's a reason this kind of thing never happens in China, as noted:

China doesn’t have DEI stupidity.   Hey, FBI, did you see what those pro-life, Christianity-believing grandmothers just did in New Orleans? .......China rarely has such terrorist attacks..........terrorists know that China won’t tolerate terrorism.......Stick your head up in China and you are liable to get it lopped off.  And the Chinese people know it.

Is totalitarianism the answer? No, the answer was given at the beginning of America's creation.  

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other” (John Adams).

The "maintenance of freedom requires self-control,.... virtuous morality,....  respect the for lives and property of others, and this is going to require a massive culture war staring with public education, from Kindergarten to higher education.   Culture is king, and American needs to make some serious changes, and a really good start would be to put in jail all those on the left who've committed crimes but were protected by a

The Unraveling of Barack Obama

Misfits, dipsticks, dimwits, and halfwits, what a bench.

I don't think I know anyone who despises Obama as much as my friend Susan Daniels. She says he a very real felon noting:

When Barack Obama was still a pot-smoking, teenage punk, he had a Hawaiian Social Security Number. He said he worked at a Baskin-Robbins store when he was fifteen and would have been required to have one. It would have started with 575 or 576, the numbers assigned to residents of Hawaii.  However, Obama began using a stolen Connecticut Social Security Number in his mid-20s, perhaps to hide something in his past. Using another person’s identity is a felony: 42 U.S.C. 1307.

She goes on to list all the documents showing something about his history really stinks, and with serious legal issues.  Based on her investigations she states Obama Owes Us At Least $105 Million, saying:

He used a fraudulent Social Security Number as president.  In 2009, I uncovered Barack Obama’s use of a stolen Connecticut Social Security number. He should have had a Hawaiian number, like his half-sister Maya. He did when he was young. But in his mid-20s, he started using one stolen from a dead person. It is illegal for a person to use a second number, and Social Security numbers are never reissued.   Everyone shied away from the story for fear of being called a racist. They should have been more concerned with being an enabler; they are now as guilty as he is.  Obama stole his way into the White House in 2008 with foreign money for his campaign, which is illegal. Once ensconced there, everyone was afraid to call him a fraud, which he is. The stolen Social Security number even appeared on his 2009 tax return.

How did he get away with this.  Susan blames the CIA, and offers a lot of interesting history to support this claim that the media totally ignored, but time and truth are on the same side.  As Andrea Widburg states:

“Obama is not now, nor was he ever, a nice human being. It’s just getting harder for him to hide that fact.”

In her article, How the Mighty Obama Has Fallen she states:

Barack Obama announced that he was stumping at twenty-seven events for Kamala Harris who, if elected, would be the president with the lowest intellect in the history of the United States.  Obama undoubtedly expects the same adoration from the public as when he was the president. Well, it didn’t work that way in Pittsburgh, his first stop with Harris. (Bill Clinton is hopping aboard the Harris train next week.)  It seemed odd that none of the news articles mentioned crowd size. The reason became apparent. The sparse, mostly Black, audience at the Fitzgerald Field House where the event was held when full seats only 4,122............. “Obama is trying to drag her over the finish line, much like he failed to do with his chosen successor, Hillary Clinton. Obama has political skills, but they’re neutralized when everyone knows the candidate he’s trying to get over the hump is flawed and unqualified.”

Two things.  First, he was outsmarted by Dementia Joe. C'mon man, just how bad is that?  Secondly, no one cared what he thought or said, including a lot of Americans who happen to be black who refused to play the race cards he was dealing.

But reducing the question of what happened to Barack Obama’s new American system to the results of a single election is in fact to trivialize the startling nature and ambition of what he built, as well as the shocking suddenness with which it has all gone up in smoke. The answer to that is simple.  They began to believe their lies.  Lies that were now being exposed by the alternative media, lies the Pravda media kept touting.   The Pravda media and their master are both swirling down the drain because time and truth are on the same side, and when you can no longer control the narrative, a narrative filled with provable lies, your ship of lies crashes against the rocky shore of truth.  

And the truth about Obama and what he has wrought is destructing, as Al Bienenfeld asks, Is Barack Obama Guilty of Mass Murder and Treason?  He answers affirmatively saying:

As Barack Obama slowly fades from the landscape, let’s consider how he has helped to destroy Western civilization, especially the United States of America. He did this via his fealty to Iran, which allowed unchecked, deadly drug trafficking into America while giving Iran the time, space, and funds to develop its nuclear weapons.....[allowed] the Iran-founded and funded terrorist organization Hezbollah to operate in the Western Hemisphere, where it built a narco-terror network that shipped illegal drugs into this country. The Middle Eastern threat is now below our southern border, something obvious as far back as 2011:........

Beginning in 2008 and for the next eight years, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) ran Project Cassandra, an investigation into these activities. In 2017’s “The Secret Backstory of How Obama Let Hezbollah Off the Hook,” Josh Meyer explained that the Obama administration interfered with an ultimately blocked the DEA’s efforts to neutralize these operations.......... Obama’s Justice Department declined to prosecute major players. For example, Hezbollah’s envoy to Iran, a Lebanese bank that laundered billions in drug money and that was a central figure in a U.S.-based cell of the Iranian Quds force, got a pass.....

Clinton and Obama...[gave] ...........the North Koreans and Iranians space to develop nuclear weapons. These deals were corrupt betrayed the American people..........

He entered into an agreement he knew would never last and that Iran would quite obviously use as time, room, and money to go nuclear. He aided the funding by allowing Hezbollah’s narco-terror campaign in this hemisphere to be left untouched, a decision that effectively killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. The money that Iran received from having its assets unfrozen and its drug-dealing unchecked enhanced Iran’s ability to expand and export its terror operations, destabilizing the Middle East and beyond and allowing it to try to destroy our best ally, Israel.

In the end reality, time, and truth will win, and the Obama Doctrine is dead:

Is as dead as Yahya Sinwar. And the world is better off in both cases.  Oct. 7 transformed the Middle East in ways that seemed impossible only a few years ago. Hamas, perhaps the most immediate threat to both Jewish and Arab lives in the region, is largely eradicated. Hezbollah, the theocratic militia that's kept Lebanon in a state of turmoil and war for decades, is reeling...... Israel ignored Joe Biden and eliminated Hassan Nasrallah..... decimated much of Hezbollah's capacity to wage war..... The Jewish state proved it could engage in a prolonged conflict, striking one decisive victory after the next.... [slipping]100 jets into the Iranian territory and calmly engaged in precision strikes – a warning that it could mete out far more devastation if it felt like it. And perhaps it will in the future.

Finally, Jack Cashill posted this piece, The Case for a Gay Obama showing how everything about Obama's personal life can .... at the very best ..... only be defined as strange, and the media gathered around him like an iron ring attacking anyone who came forth to expose him.  Even having one arrested on false charges.   As the previous author suggests, former President Barack Obama needs to be investigated, and be held accountable for his actions.   Ah, what the heck, let's include the Clintons, Joe Biden, and a host of others in such an investigation.

Here's Susan's latest offering regarding Obama regarding what clearly "cannot" be "his" Social Security Number, her lawsuit, and John Husted's refusal to respond.  “Plaintiff somehow equates use of an improper social security number as a disqualifying event…”  What's even more frustrating, is it's quite possible that Governor DeWine will appoint him to fill out Vice President Vance's Senate seat.  Her view is Husted is bad news all around and is a RINO. He is the Republican version of the slimy Sherrod Brown, and offers this information about him

My Birth Certificate File

Everything we are told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality!  Unless of course it appears that it might look like some sort of conspiracy.  Then we must remember, there's no such thing as a conspiracy, no matter how many conspiracies are in the history books.  Unless it's a vast right wing conspiracy.

This has come up again and I have files on this as I've followed it from the beginning, but as I go back through the articles I find they're a bit convoluted being mixed in with other topics, so, I decide to fix that.

Malik Obama shares photo of brother Barack’s Kenya ‘certificate of birth’ - March 9, 2017 By Kyle Olson - An Obama has joined the birther movement.  Malik Obama, Barack Obama’s half-brother, tweeted image of what appears to be Barack’s birth certificate.   Except it’s not from Hawaii, but rather Kenya.  The document is from the “Coast Province General Hospital” in Mombasa, British Protectorate of Kenya, and is for Barack Hussein Obama II, who was born on the “4th day of August, 1961.”......

Corsi - You won't believe judge's opinion of disputed document - An attorney representing Barack Obama has argued in court to prevent the long-form birth certificate image that was released by the White House nearly a year ago from being placed into evidence.  It was on April 10 at a three-hour eligibility hearing before a New Jersey administrative law judge that the argument came from Alexandra Hill. She is legal counsel representing Obama’s re-election campaign, and argued then that New Jersey law does not require Obama to present a valid birth certificate to establish his qualifications under Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution to be on the New Jersey Democratic Party primary ballot. Hill repeatedly explained to Judge Jeff S. Masin that, “We do not believe the president’s birth certificate is relevant to this case.” Agreeing with Hill, Masin ruled in a written opinion the same day that New Jersey law does not require Obama to produce any proof he is eligible to be president in order to be placed on the primary ballot......

 

New sheriff calls for roundup of Obama records - Corsi wins over officials in New Jersey on eligibility - A presentation by WND’s Jerome Corsi to a standing-room-only crowd has convinced a New Jersey lawmaker and a local sheriff that the issue of President Obama’s eligibility for office “will have to be addressed.” “The easiest way to put this to rest is to have the records unsealed,” Morris County Sheriff Ed Rochford told the Huffington Post in an email following the April 4 event in Morristown. “Mr. Corsi made a very convincing argument that President Obama may not be a natural born citizen of the United States.”.............

 

High court justice: Obama birth certificate fishy - Says evidence raises 'serious questions about authenticity' - An Alabama State Supreme Court justice earlier this week agreed that findings suggesting Barack Obama presented a forged birth certificate to the nation “would raise serious questions about the [document's] authenticity” if presented as evidence in court. Though the Alabama court denied a a petition filed by Hugh McInnish seeking to require an original copy of Obama’s birth certificate before the sitting president would be allowed on the state’s ballot in November, Justice Tom Parker filed a special, unpublished concurrence in the case arguing that McInnish’s charges of “forgery” were legitimate cause for concern. Parker writes, “Mclnnish has attached certain documentation to his mandamus petition, which, if presented to the appropriate forum as part of a proper evidentiary presentation, would raise serious questions about the authenticity of both the ‘short form’ and the ‘long form’ birth certificates of President Barack Hussein Obama that have been made public.”.....

 

Feds refuse to release Obama draft docs to Sheriff Joe - Arizona lawman's team believes registration fraudulent -The Selective Service System has declined Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s request to see the original copy of Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration form. Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse investigating Obama’s eligibility announced at a March 1 press conference that it believes there is probable cause that the registration is fraudulent. A three-sentence March 22 letter written on behalf of Selective Service Director Lawrence G. Romo, however, dismissed the request. “This Agency has no evidence that President Obama’s 1980 registration is not authentic,” wrote Richard S. Flahavan, associate director of public & intergovernmental affairs Apparently refusing to take seriously Arpaio’s investigation, Flahavan referred the sheriff to the FBI......

State lawmakers revive eligibility requirement - Arizona considering plan to have candidates affirm qualifications - Arizona, which was at the forefront of last year’s effort among state legislatures to require documentation of candidates’ eligibility for the office they seek, is returning to the controversy, with a proposal by Rep. Carl Seel, R-Phoenix, that would require candidates to sign an affidavit affirming they meet the requirements. The plan was promoted in a news conference yesterday attended by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, whose Cold Case Posse earlier this month detailed how the evidence regarding Barack Obama’s eligibility documentation suggestions both forgery and fraud – and a reason to continue the investigation.........

 

Media blackout on Obama eligibility near-total - Despite vast public interest, 'mainstream' and 'conservative' press AWOL - Even though almost half of registered voters tell pollsters they are not convinced Barack Obama’s birth certificate is authentic – and even though the first official U.S. law enforcement investigation into the matter established “probable cause” that the document released with great fanfare by the White House last April is a computer-generated forgery – a virtual media blackout remains in effect on the most controversial story of the Obama presidency. Why the silence about Obama's historic scam? Diana West whacks MSM for 'political blackout' of Sheriff Joe's eligibility probe - Warning: This column contains news of evidence of possible forgery and fraud in the long-form birth certificate of the president of the United States and – bonus – his Selective Service registration card.  I figure the warning is necessary to prevent Americans, particularly Americans who work in news media and politics, from hurting themselves on any hard, sharp facts that might poke through my discussion of what is surely the biggest scandal to emerge around the seemingly dodgy docs Barack Obama is using to verify his identity...........

 

Mailman discouraged from telling Obama story- Told family and friends: They 'did not want to hear this' - A retired Chicago-area mailman who has come forward with his first-person recollection of a clean-cut young man he identified as Barack Obama who approached him and told him he was going to be president says he wasn’t worried about relating his experience, but he also wasn’t encouraged by friends and family. Allen Hulton, who previously told WND in a videotaped interview about meeting Obama long before his political career was launched in Chicago, was interviewed by Mark Gillar on his BlogTalkRadio program just days ago. Gillar asked him why he didn’t made a more concerted effort to tell people about how Mary Ayers, the mother of longtime Obama associate Bill Ayers and one of the residents to whom he delivered mail, boasted of helping this “foreign” student with his college.............

I have watched Sheriff Arpaio's press conference in AZ and have examined some of the evidence directly. It is clear - as Alex Jones rightly said on the day when Obama first put up his faked "long-form birth certificate" on the White House website - that a fraud has been committed, and that, absent a valid official record of Obama's birth or a very good explanation of the anomalies in the published version, he is not qualified to stand for re-election as President.

The main point of the fraudulent "birth certificate" is that it is layered in such a way that all four of the rubber stamps (three dates and one recording officer's certification) are on separate layers, allowing them to be moved about on the document at will. A scanned document could not behave this way, and there is no way this could have happened accidentally. However, Sheriff Arpaio has some reason to fear that the Hawaiian authorities are in Obama's pocket.

There are two other pieces of impressive testimony. First, when the Sheriff's office asked the National Archives to produce the immigration records of flights into the US, and specifically into Hawaii, for five years either side of Obama's alleged birth date (4 August 1961), the one week in 1961 in which the records were unavailable was the week of -- you guessed it - 1-7 August. This is beginning to look like a widespread, high-level fraud.

Secondly, the White House had previously told enquirers from the media that no long-form birth certificate existed: all they had was a certification from Hawaii that there was a birth certificate on file.

The Sheriff plainly has enough evidence to warrant further investigation by the appropriate authorities (presumably the FBI), but he seems to be genuinely terrified of how far the corruption might have spread, and does not seem to know where to go or what to do next. A lawyer whom I have consulted says that no public authority or court will move against a sitting president who has been elected, but it seems to me that the evidence of malfeasance is now strong enough to overcome this objection. 

 

The Birth Cirtificate Saga: Part 2, March 14, 2012, By Rich Kozlovich

When this whole thing started about three years ago or so I thought it was a load of horsepucky. I thought this whole thing was insane, after all, how could anyone be so stupid to think they could get away with something such as that? But no matter how much scorn was heaped on those who touted this business they just would not stop demanding to see all the information about Obama, including all of his student information. I turned out that his accessible history was at best lacking, and anyone who has access to anything else refused to share it. Why?

That isn't what happened when Bush ran for president and Dan Rather kept demanding more and more information? Every aspect of his life became the cause célèbre for the main stream media, and yet no matter how many questions were answered it was never enough. Dan Rather would intone at the end of a story by saying; “Questions Remain!” Yet in this case not only do questions remain but so do the answers; and no one in the main stream media seem to care. Why?

Then I noticed that great efforts were being made at considerable cost to prevent anyone from looking into any aspect of his previous life. Why?

If there is nothing to hide why hide it? The media demanded this of McCain and he produced the necessary paper work immediately. The major media outlets demand every scrap of paper about every aspect of every conservative candidate’s personal and public life; and yet they are completely ignoring this. Why?

Lou Dobbs even lost his job at CNN over this. He even stated that he didn’t believe in any of what is being called “The Birther Conspiracy” but felt it was detrimental to the country for the President to not release this information. Yet Media Matters and the Southern Poverty Law Center took strong objection to his reporting. Why?

It is clear that when someone becomes famous those who went to the same school at the same time will claim they were well acquainted with that person. Those who were acquainted then claim that they were close friends. Close friends with then claim that they were his personal favorites. And all of them remember deep discussions with that person that clearly impacted future thinking. But Obama has no one stepping forward doing this. Are there no close personal friends at college that have recollections of him at all?  There is even a small class he was supposed to have attended in which no one remembers him.  This is out of the ordinary when it comes to famous people. Where was he all of this time? Everyone has ex-friends and ex-girl friends; admittedly, not always complimentary past experiences, but they at least existed. But unless you count all the ultra left wing and violent radicals he has been closely associated with this seemingly does not apply to Obama! Why?

Where was he and who was he involved with? No one really seems to know and if anyone does they aren’t talking!

It seems to me that he is a good husband and a good father, but that isn’t a requirement to be President of the United States. Perhaps it should be, but being a natural born citizen absolutely is and being a good husband and father can’t override a Constitutional requirement. It is clear that something is wrong.

The revelations are supplemental to an immutable reason to oust Obama by enforcing an arcane U.S. federal court decision........Under law there is only one test of what constitutes a 'natural born citizen' and it is enshrined in a crucial judgment of the U.S. Supreme Court in Minor V. Happersett (88 U.S. 162) of 1875. The 'Minor-v-Happersett' case clearly defines Natural Born Citizen as someone who can show that both of their parents were born in the United States, which obviously excludes Obama on his father's side.....

Pravda asks: What happened to American media? - Accuses U.S. press of 'deliberately hiding evidence' of Obama's 'fraud' - It’s a twist of irony: The Russian news website Pravda has published an accusation that the American media is “tame,” afraid to publish news and is “deliberately hiding the evidence published on the internet about [President Obama's] defrauding of the American public and the deliberate evisceration of the Constitution of the United States.”  In a March 7 Pravda column, “Arizona sheriff finds Obama presidential qualifications forged,” Dianna Cotter, a senior at American Military University, blasts America’s mainstream media for their virtual silence about Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s six-month investigation into the controversy surrounding Obama’s birth certificate and his constitutional eligibility for office......

 

 'Honor fails' for Obama's eligibility-Legal team says court protecting president from challenge....“The incidents cited here demonstrate the harassment, bias, and lack of honor in the administrative operation of our courts. This bias effectively prevents those on one side of an issue to have basic access to the courts. In other words, the courts are now barring specific viewpoints from entering the front doors of the court”.............

 

No More Secrets - ………….Recently, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio held a press conference to confirm that the birth certificate provided by the President of the United States is, in all likelihood, a forgery. There are serious questions about the legitimacy of his Social Security number, as well as data related to his passport. The media, for the most part, ignored this story and that makes them part of what is surely the greatest conspiracy of the new century.  The larger question is why Sheriff Apaio’s information has not become the subject of a Congressional investigation. Why are so many Americans, elected representatives, law enforcement authorities, judges, willing to be complicit in a presidency that may have been acquired by deceit and, if so, whose exercise of power in implicitly criminal?

 

Arpaio investigation: Obama might be Kenyan - Records that could document status mysteriously missing -  Among the records missing for Barack Obama that would be available for an ordinary president are passport records, school records such as those from Punahou, Occidental, Columbia and Harvard, Harvard Law Review writings, scholarly articles for the University of Chicago, state bar association records from Illinois, Illinois state senate records, the marriage and divorce documents for his mother, his adoption records and others.  Now it has been revealed that the Cold Case Posse assembled by Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Maricopa County, Ariz., cannot confirm yet that Obama was not born in Kenya and brought to the United States as a days-old infant for his birth to be registered in Hawaii.  The reason? Missing records.......

 

Media finally paying attention to eligibility? -  See which major networks plan on covering Cold Case Posse results. Poll after poll in recent months has indicated that Americans have a high level of concern over Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, with one poll showing fully half of the nation wants Congress to investigate the question.  But reporters for the traditional media – networks, major newspapers, major news corporations and conglomerates – mostly have giggled when talk turns to the serious question of just what the U.S. Constitution requires of presidents. Obama's slimy little Deep State environmental cabal is at it again

Under President Obama, the Environmental Protection Agency grew to gargantuan proportions, issuing 4,000 regulations, adding more than 33,000 pages to the Federal Register, and dumping $50 billion in compliance costs on business, making itself one of the biggest and most powerful agencies in the U.S. government – quite a feat for an organization without a Cabinet seat.

With all that power, it was also famous for its incompetence and corruption, in that it had a problem obeying rules other people obeyed and always got away with it.  Gold King Mine on the very yellow Animas River, anyone?  That also applies to the behavior of its Obamaton leaders, who communicated with secret email accounts (remember Richard Windsor?) and got rewarded with fabulous Silicon Valley social media jobs in the revolving-door aftermath.  They were amply augmented in their activities by the Obama State Department and the Obama National Security Council, which conducted business pretty much the same way.

Trump's burden: Cleaning up Obama's mess

President Trump is unraveling eight years of Obama tyranny. Here is a little reminder why so many people now stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump. President Trump has chosen to unravel the last eight years of Obama's tyranny one day at a time. Trump is now reversing the negative Obama tide by simply implementing basic commonsense economic policies. The combination of this commonsense approach with tax cuts and the reversal of countless Obama executive order EPA regulations has resulted in a booming economy.

Do you really think Obama cared about the middle class economically, or did he just take all of us for fools with his love of job-killing EPA regulations?These regulations did nothing but destroy American jobs and add costs to American-made products and U.S. private businesses.

They had absolutely no real effect on the environment.

This Obama-era UN-EPA agreement has to go

As the Trump White House continues its cleanup of the mess — foreign and domestic — left behind by the Obama administration, it should toss out a little-noticed document that entangles the U.S. in some of the worst schemes ever cooked up by U.N. bureaucrats and their cronies in the global environmental movement.

On September 16, 2016, the Obama EPA entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). Concluded just a few weeks before the 2016 presidential election, the MOU bears the signature for the U.S. of then-EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. In the document, UNEP and the Obama EPA vow to “consolidate, further develop and intensify their cooperation and effectiveness to achieve their common goals and objectives in the field of the environment.”

And therein lies the problem. For the “common goals and objectives” shared by the U.N. body and the Obama administration are specifically crafted to hamstring American fossil-fuel energy development, promote an assortment of politically fashionable, but otherwise uncompetitive, green technologies and products, and perpetuate the deplorable living conditions in the world’s poorest countries.

An Instrument of the Paris Climate Accord

The document was signed nine months after the adoption of the U.N.-sponsored Paris climate accord, and the wording of the MOU leaves little doubt that it was seen as an instrument to underscore America’s commitment to curtail its production and use of energy in the name of combatting climate change. Thus, UNEP and the Obama EPA agreed to “cooperate on responses to climate change,” including mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, reducing short-lived climate forcers and supporting adaptation and resilience to climate change.

Taking these and similar steps, the MOU says, will enable the advance “toward green economies and resource-efficient societies through collaborative activities to promote and support sustainable consumption and production.” In truth, “green economies” are those with taxpayer-subsidized and government-mandated renewable energy (primarily wind and solar). And what constitutes “sustainable consumption and production” is in the eyes of the beholding bureaucrat, empowered either by the administrative regulatory state or by legislation adopted at the behest of deep-pocketed special interests.

All of this is to be pursued through jointly held symposia, seminars, workshops, study tours, collaborative research and development projects, exchanges and training programs and other forms of cooperation that strengthen the bonds between UNEP and the U.S. Under the MOU, each side is to name a “Senior Coordinator” to oversee the holding of “regular joint meetings on matters of common interest.” To make sure the two sides stay in touch, “such meetings are to take place at least once every six months in accordance with an agenda approved by them in advance of every meeting.”

The outfit the Obama administration teamed up within the MOU, UNEP, was founded in 1972 by wealthy Canadian businessman Maurice Strong; it is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya and has an office conveniently located in Washington, D.C. Strong (1929–2015) was Under-Secretary-General of the U.N. when he founded UNEP and was an early advocate for combatting what he said was human-induced climate change, then known as global warming.

In keeping with Strong’s vision, UNEP has worked closely with the Bonn-based United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). For its part, UNFCCC has enthusiastically spread climate alarmism and gone to extraordinary lengths to deny the residents of the world’s poorest access to reliable and affordable electricity and transportation fuel, thereby perpetuating their poverty.

Anti-American Agenda

Given UNEP’s pedigree and the Obama administration’s unbridled hostility to fossil fuels, President Trump should scrap the UNEP-EPA MOU. Trump and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt inherited the MOU from their predecessors and are under no obligation to adhere to its content. The White House has already withdrawn from the Paris climate accord, and President Trump chose to skip the climate-change session at the recent G7 meeting in Quebec.

Continued fealty to the Obama-era MOU runs counter to the president’s goal of American global energy dominance, which is anchored to our abundance of oil, natural gas, and coal. The ties that bound the UN and the Obama administration should not be allowed to constrain the choices of everyday Americans .

Even if the MOU is “non-binding,” so, too, are the commitments all parties agreed to under the Paris climate accord.  But recognizing the threat the Paris accord posed to U.S. energy security, the Trump White House wisely walked away from it. The UNEP-EPA memorandum is little more than an implementation tool of the Paris agreement and should suffer the same fate.

Both are part of what is, at its core, a decidedly anti-American agenda.
