The six words we will no longer hear the Democrats utter over the next four years. "No one is above the law."
I
had to post this cartoon as the Democrats are upset at Biden going on
talk shows and giving interviews and looking totally delusional. They
feel he's dragging them down for the 2026 election, with may pundits
claiming the Democrats will regain the House and/or the Senate. If
Biden is delusional, and he is, how sane is the rest of the Democrat
party? They're doubling down on all the things Americans are against?
Somehow they think the perfect political strategy that will resonate
with Americans in order to regain the Congress is to be as rude, crude,
stupid, and violent as possible.
I find so many conservative
writers, some financial experts, now decrying tariffs, making all sorts
of dire predictions that I think are silly, there were a number of them
I didn't publish, making today's P&D a short edition.
What I find more interesting is headline after headline demonstrates Trump's tariffs are working. After a lot of fist raising, chest thumping, and virtue signalling, they're all doing exactly what Putin said they would do - coming to Trump wagging their tails - and now that includes China, which is in fear of economic collapse.
Why?
While writer after writer went on praising the great economic surge of China, I said, for over ten years now, China's economy was all smoke and mirrors. It was, it is, and now China is facing a lot of internal conflict over closed factories, and that's going to get worse since Chinese companies are moving to America to avoid Trump's tariffs.
Xi's solution? He wants young Chinese to ‘serve’ in rural areas and leave the cities where they could organize and revolt. And when they get there they're going to do what? Xi hasn't a clue, but he's clearly taking a page out of Mao's history, which was a prelude to China's disastrous Cultural Revolution. Could this be what gets Xi kicked out? Could be, and I would be sad if that happened because his Maoist economic thinking is destroying China's economy. Bad for China, good for the rest of the world.
America is facing it's third rebellion. First, the Revolution. Second, the Civil War. And now the third rebellion, the Sedition of the Federal Judiciary. We're facing an out of control judiciary that can't be allowed to continue in their course, and it seems clear to me there are three directions to all this

The first is preferable over the second, since given the state of things as administrations change a Jacksonian solution could well be a slippery slope to actual tyranny as time goes by. But since the federal judiciary is filled with political hacks who are not only out of control, they can't be fired. That can’t continue. The third is the only real long term answer. People who can't be held to account will get out of control, it really is that simple
That's not what the founding fathers envisioned. However, this issue over life time appointments didn't sit well with a number of the founders, who even warned this would happen. The rest felt lifetime appointments would insure "judicial independence, protecting judges from political pressure and allowing them to make impartial decisions based on the law, not public opinion or electoral concerns", and as long as they couldn't control the purse strings or had enforcement powers, the federal judiciary was the least dangerous of them all.
How delusional could they be? People will always be people, and when people are unaccountable for their actions, they will act in unacceptable ways. You would think after seeing the folly brought about by the class privileges of the British hierarchy they would have known better.
Have a great weekend and my very best wishes to all those of good will and honest hearts.
