Another amazing week has flown by.  The L.A. riots have failed to do what has always worked in the past, making the Congress and the President cower to the demands of leftists.   There's a new sheriff in town, and no one seems to understand.....he's not Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George Bush, or Jimmy Carter, and they have no idea who their dealing with.  A mentality that's playing out in the geopolitical arena.... and they're shocked, shocked I tell you!

Europe is now trying to act as if their views matter in the Middle East, it doesn't, along with Russia and China, but what Israel has done in Iran with American support has rattled them.

Russia’s economy minister says the country is on the brink of recession and they've wasted hundreds of thousands of young mens lives in their insane war with Ukraine, and now Russia is encouraging immigration from all over Africa and Asia to fill their labour needs.  Iran will no longer be able to manufacture drones for Russia's war and Russia can't fill their ranks without N. Korean and Chinese "volunteers" to fight Ukraine.

Russia's censorship is absolute, but the world is changing, and Russian soldiers in Ukraine are sending videos back home via Smartphone "boosting the profile of opposition causes".  Why is this being allowed?  Their commanders are unwilling to confiscate their phones and punish them.

What can we glean from that?  First, I think it's very possible a lot of the officer corp are as disgusted as are the enlisted men. Secondly, I think it's possible they may be afraid to do so because that could trigger a rebellion in the ranks.   Conclusion, the Russian military isn't into Putin's war, there must be a von Stauffenberg cabal in their midst, and I keep wondering when his downfall will occur, but I have no doubt it's coming.

The upside for Russia is the price of oil has been dropping killing their economy and with Israel destroying Iran's energy sector the price should go up.  Saudi Arabia says they want to increase out put in order to keep the price stable....so.... we'll see.

China is rattled since this kind of thing could become contagious, and resistance to China's interference around the world could escalate, more and more information is being published warning America of the danger China represents.  Their interference in the 2020 election by printing counterfeit US ballots, has now been confirmed by the FBI.

I always wondered how anyone could print what must have been hundreds of thousands of fake ballots without anyone noticing.  Now we have to ask who in the Democrat party was part of that criminal conspiracy, and how far up did it go?  I also find it interesting Trump is going to allow 500,000 students from China to come and be educating in our universities.  Don't ask, I don't get that at all, and I think that's nuts.   Don't we have enough spies in America?

/>
China's partners in crime here in the US, the Democrat party, is taking a beating not only in the polls. The DNC is in chaos and broke, and the DNC's leadership is being attacked by the left as weak,’ whiny and invisible, and this is in my opinion partly due to kicking out Hogg as a Vice Chair.  The problem is their base is old, their leadership is old, they no longer represent labor and the middle class, and the young that are active are as radical as Hogg, and many of their traditional supporters are walking away from the party.

The party is a disaster promoting and creating disasters in every major city in America, and the L.A. Riots is just a symptom of what Democrat control means. High unemployment, viable businesses fleeing the state, destruction of public education allowing students to ‘pass’ with a score of 21% correct. There's going to be long term political consequences over this, for both parties, but only one will benefit, and it won't be the Democrat party.

The Pravda media is dying, and it's my view CNN will be among the first to go, but the print media is equally vile, especially the corrupt science journals, which I've been reporting on for years.  Now these poor confused, starving reporters are desperate after killing themselves by refusing to be honest journalists speaking truth to power, instead of being what they were, "paid political propagandizing whores."
Corruption in the military is rampant, the Navy has as many admirals as they do ships, and the Air Force has a general for every 22 planes, and Hegseth is firing a lot of them.....given how so many caved in to DEI insanity, firing a host of them will benefit the nation beyond description.  The purge of the Deep State is ongoing, as Trump is firing anyone who fails to share his vision, and the left is outraged they'll no longer be able to undermine and thwart his actions.  How dare he fire traitors and back stabbers.

As for the Big, Beautiful Bill, I have no idea where this is heading.  The Senate is making changes, Trump says he's okay with that, the House is in an uproar, and I'm like most of America, I'm have no idea what's gong to end up in this bill, except we're definitely going to increase the national debt.  That much I know.

I have six commentaries of my own, and I really like what I've done regarding the L.A. riots, and I will have more on this next week.  I also have eighteen commentaries by others I think are really well done, so, take a little time and review those topics that interest you. Have a great weekend and best wishes.

George Friedman, the publisher of Geopolitical Futures, a site I highly recommend, has over the last year explained the reason the world is in such turmoil.  The cold war really is over now, and that was the anchor for the thinking of the world's leaders.  The Russo/Ukrainian War ended it in reality.

NATO was created to prevent the Soviet Union from overrunning the rest of Europe, which is exactly what Stalin wanted to do, and officially the cold war ended with the end of the Soviet Union.  But the Cold War was predicated on saving Europe from the Russians, whether the Soviet Union existed or not, and it was believed by just about everyone, including me, if the U.S. wasn't backing NATO Russia could march down the North European Plain all the way to France without much trouble.  We now know Russia is incapable of overrunning Europe.

What was styled as the second rated military in the world has been unable to defeat the world's twenty second rated military in almost four years, and is now incapable of manning it's army without "volunteers" from China and North Korea, and incapable of manufacturing their own equipment.  They're buying munitions from North Korea and drones from Iran.  Now the price of oil is dropping, and will drop further as Trump will push drilling, making the only real commodity the world wanted from Russia far less economically viable to save their economy.

The EU is wanting to impose another level of economic sanctions on Russia, but it won't happen because both Slovakia and Hungary oppose them.  What's that really mean though?   Europe is no longer in dire need of Russian oil.

Putin threatened Sweden and Finland that if they joined NATO they would face repercussions.  They joined, and his bully boy tactics has triggered something Europe wanted to prevent for decades, a resurgence of Germany's military, which is happening and now Germany has sent 5000 troops to support Lithuania, and there's talk that Putin might not be in power much longer.

Also, pay attention to this little shooting war between Pakistan and India.  Russia's been allies of both, China is an ally of Pakistan and just like Pakistan, is in eternal conflict with India.  Now Russia's being asked to be a mediator, and Putin can't afford to offend his few remaining allies.  This will be interesting to watch.

Xi, dictator for life, is in trouble in China.  His adoration of Maoist economics has been disastrous, and now it appears he's saying China needs to become more capitalistic, and the CCP is asking why it needs such an idiot to be in charge.

China has now sent a carrier task force to sail close to Japanese waters in order to continue their little schemes of military intimidation in Asia, all of which has a resulted in a resurgance of  Japan military.

The US is reconsidering it's AUKUS relationship since neither the UK or Australia seem to understand who is their ally and who is their enemy, all of whom are electing far left governments.  So, why would America wish to share intelligence and advanced technology with them?

In America we're having another left wing hissy fit, another planned and organized "spontaneous" hissy fit.  Riots and demonstrations against Trump and ICE are breaking out all over the nation, where the governor of California and the mayor of L.A. waited days before ordering the police to deal the riot, and that's only because the optics became so bad, and even that was a sham.

California's state officials are blatantly violating the law regarding immigration, and the police are being handcuffed.  If they do their job as in the past, not only will anyone they arrest be back on the streets almost immediately, they may find themselves being charged with crimes.  Newsom is working his little butt off to end Trump nationalization of the California Nation Guard and demanding Trump withdraw the Marines.  Gotta protect all the thugs and illegal criminals over the actual citizens of California.  And he's losing, as America sees it differently.

Florida has made it clear, they're not going to tolerate the crap that's been going on in California.  In Florida any violence by "demonstrators" will be met with violence by the police, and some rioters may end up dead.

The Democrats have demonstrated how they have no respect for civil behavior, and actually think they should not only be allowed to be uncivil and even violent, including members of Congress, demanding everyone follow the Pravda media by praising them.   Al Sharpton, who's never been the brightest pebble in the brook, claims ‘Trump has pushed too far, as a result he's united the opposition against him.  And when exactly wasn't the opposition united against him?

And finally, Tim Walz thinks announcing that he's a Chinese operative, claiming China "holds the moral authority" on _____ (fill in the blank) will launch him into the office of President of the United States.  Yep, he's a knucklehead!

  • Democrats are nuts. Their antisemitism is becoming apparent. Their affinity for criminals, lying, hypocrisy, depravity, chaos, and drama is well known. And everyone knows what drama is in Hollywood: nothing real going on...........
  • Whether it’s Greta Thunberg transitioning from lecturing on fossil fuels to excusing Hamas atrocities, or BLM co-founders admitting their ideological roots in Marxism, the throughline is unmistakable. These “movements” are not operating independently. They are decentralized arms of the same ideological machine: a globalist, leftist coalition seeking the erosion of borders, nations, and Western civilization itself...........

Today I have the usual permanent links along with nine commentaries of my own, and thirteen others I hope you will find worthy.  Have a great weekend, and best wishes to all those of good will and honest intentions.

Back in June of 2024, there was a lot concern that if Trump was re-elected, a lot of DOJ and  FBI folks feared they'd end up in jail.  Well, the evidence is mounting that justified those fears.

James Comey has been all over the leftist media making his threat to have trump killed out to be a big joke, and they all just have a good time chucking and looking down their self righteous noses at Trump.  Well, the fact is, Comey is considered by a lot of people, including me, to be an unindicted criminal.  But that might soon change.    There's been an explosion over at the FBI.  It turns out they've discovered a secret evidence room that's:

"..........filled with bags of mishandled and concealed evidence has been discovered deep within the FBI, and it all traces back to the tenure of former FBI Director James Comey.".......... "His secret stash of untold horrors is about to be exposed, and it’s ugly"....."Wait 'til you read this stuff that’s coming out, You’re going to be stunned” “This isn’t just a filing error or a bureaucratic oversight,” Bongino declared. “We found bags of evidence, intentionally stashed and kept away from the public eye, the courts, and even internal investigations.”.............“This wasn’t incompetence...this was intentional”

All this information is classified and will have to go through the declassification process, and that will take weeks but according to Bongino:

“Once we’re able to release what we’ve found,” “the American people are going to have questions, big questions, about who was running the show, what was being hidden, and why.” "Legal experts are already weighing in on what could be an explosive development. If the materials reveal criminal misconduct or obstruction of justice, charges could potentially be filed, even against a former FBI director."

The FBI has been out of control going "full banana republic", and doing so for years, much of that pointing back to Obama and Eric Holder, but the Biden administration took it to a higher level of corruption, and the purge isn't happening fast enough.  The Obama cabal absolutely politicized all the intelligence agencies, including the FBI.

  1. Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe is Not the Only Conservative Wrongly Targeted by the Feds Recently
  2. Amid bias rebuke, FBI raids homes of GOP election clerk, conservative activists in Colorado
  3. FBI raids home of mom who protested school board - An FBI SWAT team raided the home of an activist mother of four in Colorado on Tuesday, Nov. 16, knocking down her door, bursting into the house with guns and handcuffing her while she was homeschooling her children......

Who's more dangerous to the Republic?  The Russians, the Chinese, or perhaps it's America's intelligence agencies in Washington?  These are the same people who branded half of the population of America as domestic terrorists, especially those Catholics who want a return to Latin mass.  You can see how dangerous that is to America ..... right?

  1. As Monica Showalter reported in April of 2023, the FBI was infiltrating Catholic Churches, investigating “Radical Traditional Catholics.” What made them radical, a threat worthy of the time and energy of the FBI? They like the Latin Mass. No doubt a distinction ferreted out by “experts.” FBI Director Christoper Wray professed shock—it was only one field office—and promised the investigation was shut down, until he had to admit it was several field offices, and maybe it really wasn’t so shut down after all......
  2. ORGANIZED EVIL: Newly Released Documents Reveal MULTIPLE FBI Offices Across the Nation Were Colluding to Target Traditional Catholics as Domestic Terrorists
  3. Biden Govt Used J6 & Mar-a-Lago Raid To Justify MORE Spying on Political Opponents
  4. Rogue FBI Agents Are “Opting Out” of Deportation Raids, Leaving ICE “Stranded”

There's been all this talk about how bad the conditions are at the J. Edgar Hoover FBI's headquarters building, and want a new building, and at some point they're going to get it, but in the meanwhile Trump is lessening that need by transferring a whole lot of the FBI headquarters staff all over the country.

There was, at least in my opinion, more than enough evidence to justify forming a massive all encompassing RICO investigation dealing with the FBI, CIA, NSA, appointed officials of the federal government, and elected members of Congress.  If this "secret evidence" turns into a nuclear explosion of criminal behavior, I don't see how that can be avoided.

Then we have the third American rebellion from the federal judiciary, with the latest, which Trump won on appeal:

Three Judges Blocking Trump’s Tariffs Have Decades-Long Histories of Democrat Activism -The judges on the U.S. Court of International Trade who ruled that President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs are illegal have a history of Democrat Party activism. Each of the members of the three-judge panel issuing the Wednesday ruling – which was stayed Thursday by an appeals court, allowing the tariffs to continue – fit the profile of other activists judges who continued their political activism after joining the court...Notably, Reif never registered for the selective service, according to his questionnaire. .....

The history of these judges demonstrates they're nothing more than political hacks, and I looked it up, it turns out failing to register with the Selective Service is a crime in the United States:

"a felony punishable by fines and/or imprisonment, according to the Selective Service System. Specifically, failure to register with Selective Service is a violation of the Military Selective Service Act, and conviction can result in up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250,000."

By his own written admission he's committed a crime.  Why hasn't be been arrested?  After all, no one is above the law.

Then there's  Wisconsin Activist Judge Hannah Dugan Claims ‘Absolute Immunity’ Against ‘Ugly’ DOJ Charges.  She's doubling down on here "immunity" defense, claiming what she did was among her offical acts, and this "indictment violates both constitutional protections and judicial independence...... and .....her legal team also invoked the Tenth Amendment and the constitutional separation of powers".

Amazing how they can fall in love with the Constitution when it suits them.  But to me, this is the sound of desperation.  We're expected to believe hiding and deliberately helping a criminals to escape arrest from federal law enforcement officials is now falls under the category of official  duties for the judiciary?   Even in Wisconsin that's nuts.  And once again, her defense condemns her, since she's in effect saying she did exactly what the prosecutors said she did.

As for global warming, as an 40 year veteran of the structural pest control industry I pay attention to weather patterns because the weather impacts our profitability, and I have to say, this must be the coldest spring I've seen here in Northern Ohio in all those 4o years, and reminds me of English weather.

I watch the English gardens shows, the Brits are nuts over gardens, and as a result, this English weather has been great for my plants, my ferns are taller than ever, and I keep expanding my flower gardens.  This year I have a new shade garden, a new border garden, and reworked my front garden, and will expand that this year as I've ordered some new plants, including a tricolor butterfly plant, four of them actually.  As for my veggies....not so much... they love heat.

These last couple of weeks I haven't really been able to get my head into things, and today, I only have five offerings.  Weak ones at that in my view, and they were a struggle.  However, there are thirty really good pieces by seventeen authors you should find compelling.

Spring is here, have a great weekend, and always remember warm memories never wear out their welcome in our lives.  Extend yourself, reach out to others, especially your family, and create as many warm memories as you can.

Best wishes to all those of good heart.

Trump has been in office for less than six months and before he was sworn in the Democrats already started their 2028 campaign with a truly remarkable bench like Newsom, Booker, AOC, Buttigieg, Emanuel, Kamala, Crockett, Shapiro, Beshear, and Pritzker.  Tough battle there. Don’t you think?  Well, one thing is clear, the Democrats have a lot of baggage to overcome.

The goal of the left has been the destruction of the Constitution in order to impose a socialist system of governance, here and globally, and will support anything that helps bring that goal to fruition.  And they really don’t understand the consequences as they delusionally believe they can control events, as they all suffer from the Henry Kissinger Delusions Syndrome.

At the end of his life he acknowledged Europe should have ignored his views on immigration as the disaster of his views unfolded.  All highly educated, and under smart, suffering from the plague of preconceptualism, and anything that violates their preconceptual views are ignored….. arrogantly.  This really isn’t really anything new. It’s just old history repeating itself in a new forum.

Gibbons once wrote in his Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, “we tolerate despotism because of the things we own”. While the quote is from memory and may not be exact, the thought this conveys is.  In 1892 the steel workers at Carnegie’s Homestead plant struck because Carnegie cut wages. These were people surviving on marginal wages, and now, they weren’t going to be able to pay their bills. Violence eventually erupted when Carnegie hired Pinkerton’s to break the strike.

The point of the story is when people no longer have anything left to lose, they’ll act like they have nothing to lose, and that generally means violence. Is that where the elites governing western civilization’s nations are driving the people of western civilization?

The military budget is just under a trillion dollars a year, not counting the cost of intelligence gathering and un-publicized intelligence activity. That puts it over a trillion dollars a year, and yet America can’t produce what it needs because much of what’s needed for the military isn’t produced in America.  This article in Imprimis, New Thinking Needed on National Defense, deals with the intricacies of all that making it clear what we’ve lost, and that some very real, very serious changes need to be made.

The nation’s military is far more vulnerable than is commonly realized, all of which has been exposed by the Russo/Ukraine War. And I wonder where that trillion dollars has been going all this time. Is it any wonder the Defense Department consistently fails audits? That would land a corporation’s board of directors in jail.

While I had a blog before P&D, and a weekly e-mail newsletter before that, I've been publishing P&D since 2007 as a green issues only blog, here was my first post What Does It Mean To Be Green?, I realized I couldn't talk about green issues without discussing leftism, as environmentalism became the spear point for an effort to impose a worldwide socialistic form of governance.  Hence, I now deal with every social issue facing mankind.

The platform for P&D is through Blogger, which is owned by Google, and guess what folks, Blogger censors.   About five years ago Blogger started deleting posts that offended them.  At one point they deleted a draft.  I protested all them and they were returned.   About two to three years ago Blogger got more aggressive, and now, when I protest their deletions they refuse to return them to publication, so I keep protesting, and they keep them deleted.  I seem to have my own personal censor at Blogger.

As an example, if I published an article like this one by Andrea Widburg, no matter that it's absolutely factual, after a couple of days Blogger deletes it.  Why?  Because it violates their “community standards.”

What are their community standards? They don’t say, and since they never tell you what standard you allegedly violated, and since everything I publish is sourced and absolutely accurate, I must assume truth, justice, and the America way is a violation of their ‘community standards.’

I keep publishing anyway, and they keep deleting them, and I keep appealing their decisions, and they keep them deleted.  I’ve eight of them now the deleted box, some of them for months.   What are the issues?  Each and every one of them deals with the social impact on western civilization by Muslims, or, publishing the facts about the massively negative health impact these false covid vaccines are having on humanity, an impact that's going to be felt for decades.  Long after these shots are removed from the market.

Each and every one of them is highly sourced, and absolutely accurate.  A violation of their community standards I have to assume.  Don’t believe anything you read saying there’s no irresponsible censorship going on the social media networks.   That’s a lie.

Some time back I decided what I was doing here at P&D was too much work.  So, I decided I would only post full articles, and no more linked articles.  Well, that was stupid, as it's ended up creating more work for me ... a lot more work ......tracking and storing a ton of links to use as sources.  Starting Monday I will be returning to the old system posting linked articles.

Finally, SCOTUS Punts on Alien Enemies Act, in effect saying these gangsters, all of which are here illegally, deserve time to hire attorneys, and it was a seven to two decision.  In effect, they're saying they can never be deported because it would take years of litigation to get them out of the country.

We're heading to a Jacksonian resolution, or Congress had better deal with this and put the entire federal judiciary, including SCOTUS in it's place.  Illegal aliens have no rights under the Constitution.  The only right is to establish if they're here illegally or not, and once that's been determined, case closed.  Send them back.

I've six articles of my own, and twenty four by others in this week's edition, so, take some time and peruse them.

Best wishes,

Rich

The six words we will no longer hear the Democrats utter over the next four years.  "No one is above the law."

I had to post this cartoon as the Democrats are upset at Biden going on talk shows and giving interviews and looking totally delusional.  They feel he's dragging them down for the 2026 election, with may pundits claiming the Democrats will regain the House and/or the Senate.  If Biden is delusional, and he is, how sane is the rest of the Democrat party?  They're doubling down on all the things Americans are against?  Somehow they think the perfect political strategy that will resonate with Americans in order to regain the Congress is to be as rude, crude, stupid, and violent as possible.

I find so many conservative writers, some financial experts, now decrying tariffs, making all sorts of dire predictions that I think are silly, there were a number of them I didn't publish, making today's P&D a short edition.

What I find more interesting is headline after headline demonstrates Trump's tariffs are working.  After a lot of fist raising, chest thumping, and virtue signalling, they're all doing exactly what Putin said they would do - coming to Trump wagging their tails - and now that includes China, which is in fear of economic collapse.

Why?

While writer after writer went on praising the great economic surge of China, I said, for over ten years now, China's economy was all smoke and mirrors.  It was, it is, and now China is facing a lot of internal conflict over closed factories, and that's going to get worse since Chinese companies are moving to America to avoid Trump's tariffs.

Xi's solution?  He wants young Chinese to ‘serve’ in rural areas and leave the cities where they could organize and revolt.   And when they get there they're going to do what?  Xi hasn't a clue, but he's clearly taking a page out of Mao's history, which was a prelude to China's disastrous Cultural Revolution.   Could this be what gets Xi kicked out?  Could be, and I would be sad if that happened because his Maoist economic thinking is destroying China's economy.   Bad for China, good for the rest of the world.

America is facing it's third rebellion.  First, the Revolution.  Second, the Civil War.  And now the third rebellion, the Sedition of the Federal Judiciary.  We're facing an out of control judiciary that can't be allowed to continue in their course, and it seems clear to me there are three directions to all this

  1. SCOTUS does it’s job properly and crushes this rebellion.
  2. Trump invokes the Jacksonian solution and tells them to shove it.
  3. The Congress starts action for a 28th Amendment to place age and term limits on all federal jurists.

The first is preferable over the second, since given the state of things as administrations change a Jacksonian solution could well be a slippery slope to actual tyranny as time goes by. But since the federal judiciary is filled with political hacks who are not only out of control, they can't be fired.  That can’t continue.  The third is the only real long term answer.  People who can't be held to account will get out of control, it really is that simple

That's not what the founding fathers envisioned.  However, this issue over life time appointments didn't sit well with a number of the founders, who even warned this would happen.  The rest felt lifetime appointments would insure "judicial independence, protecting judges from political pressure and allowing them to make impartial decisions based on the law, not public opinion or electoral concerns", and as long as they couldn't control the purse strings or had enforcement powers, the federal judiciary was the least dangerous of them all.

How delusional could they be?  People will always be people, and when people are unaccountable for their actions, they will act in unacceptable ways.  You would think after seeing the folly brought about by the class privileges of the British hierarchy they would have known better.

Have a great weekend and my very best wishes to all those of good will and honest hearts.
