P&D and The Week that Was

Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

De Omnibus Dubitandum, (Everything is to be questioned!)

This Link will take you to My Commentaries.

By Rich Kozlovich

George Friedman, the publisher of Geopolitical Futures, a site I highly recommend, has over the last year explained the reason the world is in such turmoil.  The cold war really is over now, and that was the anchor for the thinking of the world's leaders.  The Russo/Ukrainian War ended it in reality.

NATO was created to prevent the Soviet Union from overrunning the rest of Europe, which is exactly what Stalin wanted to do, and officially the cold war ended with the end of the Soviet Union.  But the Cold War was predicated on saving Europe from the Russians, whether the Soviet Union existed or not, and it was believed by just about everyone, including me, if the U.S. wasn't backing NATO Russia could march down the North European Plain all the way to France without much trouble.  We now know Russia is incapable of overrunning Europe.

What was styled as the second rated military in the world has been unable to defeat the world's twenty second rated military in almost four years, and is now incapable of manning it's army without "volunteers" from China and North Korea, and incapable of manufacturing their own equipment.  They're buying munitions from North Korea and drones from Iran.  Now the price of oil is dropping, and will drop further as Trump will push drilling, making the only real commodity the world wanted from Russia far less economically viable to save their economy.

The EU is wanting to impose another level of economic sanctions on Russia, but it won't happen because both Slovakia and Hungary oppose them.  What's that really mean though?   Europe is no longer in dire need of Russian oil.

Putin threatened Sweden and Finland that if they joined NATO they would face repercussions.  They joined, and his bully boy tactics has triggered something Europe wanted to prevent for decades, a resurgence of Germany's military, which is happening and now Germany has sent 5000 troops to support Lithuania, and there's talk that Putin might not be in power much longer.

Also, pay attention to this little shooting war between Pakistan and India.  Russia's been allies of both, China is an ally of Pakistan and just like Pakistan, is in eternal conflict with India.  Now Russia's being asked to be a mediator, and Putin can't afford to offend his few remaining allies.  This will be interesting to watch.

Xi, dictator for life, is in trouble in China.  His adoration of Maoist economics has been disastrous, and now it appears he's saying China needs to become more capitalistic, and the CCP is asking why it needs such an idiot to be in charge.

China has now sent a carrier task force to sail close to Japanese waters in order to continue their little schemes of military intimidation in Asia, all of which has a resulted in a resurgance of  Japan military.

The US is reconsidering it's AUKUS relationship since neither the UK or Australia seem to understand who is their ally and who is their enemy, all of whom are electing far left governments.  So, why would America wish to share intelligence and advanced technology with them?

In America we're having another left wing hissy fit, another planned and organized "spontaneous" hissy fit.  Riots and demonstrations against Trump and ICE are breaking out all over the nation, where the governor of California and the mayor of L.A. waited days before ordering the police to deal the riot, and that's only because the optics became so bad, and even that was a sham.

California's state officials are blatantly violating the law regarding immigration, and the police are being handcuffed.  If they do their job as in the past, not only will anyone they arrest be back on the streets almost immediately, they may find themselves being charged with crimes.  Newsom is working his little butt off to end Trump nationalization of the California Nation Guard and demanding Trump withdraw the Marines.  Gotta protect all the thugs and illegal criminals over the actual citizens of California.  And he's losing, as America sees it differently.

Florida has made it clear, they're not going to tolerate the crap that's been going on in California.  In Florida any violence by "demonstrators" will be met with violence by the police, and some rioters may end up dead.

The Democrats have demonstrated how they have no respect for civil behavior, and actually think they should not only be allowed to be uncivil and even violent, including members of Congress, demanding everyone follow the Pravda media by praising them.   Al Sharpton, who's never been the brightest pebble in the brook, claims ‘Trump has pushed too far, as a result he's united the opposition against him.  And when exactly wasn't the opposition united against him?

And finally, Tim Walz thinks announcing that he's a Chinese operative, claiming China "holds the moral authority" on _____ (fill in the blank) will launch him into the office of President of the United States.  Yep, he's a knucklehead!

  • Democrats are nuts. Their antisemitism is becoming apparent. Their affinity for criminals, lying, hypocrisy, depravity, chaos, and drama is well known. And everyone knows what drama is in Hollywood: nothing real going on...........
  • Whether it’s Greta Thunberg transitioning from lecturing on fossil fuels to excusing Hamas atrocities, or BLM co-founders admitting their ideological roots in Marxism, the throughline is unmistakable. These “movements” are not operating independently. They are decentralized arms of the same ideological machine: a globalist, leftist coalition seeking the erosion of borders, nations, and Western civilization itself...........

Today I have the usual permanent links along with nine commentaries of my own, and thirteen others I hope you will find worthy.  Have a great weekend, and best wishes to all those of good will and honest intentions.

Israeli Attack on Iran Was Inevitable

It's in for a penny in for a pound time now!

By Rich Kozlovich

All this stuff about Iran is mind boggling, and much of it can be placed at the feet of the three Obama terms and the EU. Iran declared war on the west the minute the Shah left and Khomeini took over, 46 years ago, and have acted in that manner at a practical level ever since. The game playing should have ended long ago when Iran made members of the American embassy hostages, but then Carter was President, not Reagan or Trump.   The minute Reagan was elected the mullahs decided it was a good idea to release them, after 444 days of Carter's incompetent policies of appeasement.  Keep that in mind.

The minute Iran launched all those missiles at Israel, an outright undeclared act of war, that's when the line was crossed, and Israel had every right to retaliate in any way they saw fit.

I admire Trump’s ability to get adversaries to come to the table and make agreements, the Abrahamic Accords as an example. But you cannot make agreements with people who don’t want an agreement. Neither Russia or Ukraine wants the war to end, and most certainly Iran will not give up its desire to destroy Israel and do it with nuclear tipped missiles.

Iran has been found to have been lying about their nuclear program …. imagine that, and finally someone is telling the truth in the 11th hour. Make no mistake about this. The US has the intelligence that confirms all I’ve said, and I’m convinced this had to happen because Iran's domestic and international problems are so massive they fear they’re going to be kicked out of power, making this their last chance to destroy Israel, and they will not pass it up, no matter how suicidal it may be.

Operation ‘Rising Lion' has been launched, and it only took 46 years.  Now five waves of Israeli fighters carried out hundreds of missions across distances thought to be impossible without refueling, but Israel proved the to be false before.  On the first day they dropped over 330 munitions on about 100 targets, including the Natanz nuclear sight, which was just one of many.  The top Iranian military commander for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a number of nuclear experts were killed.  How great the damage was isn't clear, but it's being called superficial, and Iran has launched missiles and drones in response, which in the past has been largely ineffective, and the attacks by Israel continue.

I really love these Muslim leaders who spout nonsense like Iraqi Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr who describes this a threat to the entire region and in infringement of Iraqi airspace to get to Iran.  It's interesting you're not seeing the other nations of that region worrying about a threat to them since it's Iran whose been the threat to the region, not Israel.

It's also interesting how the people of Iran are viewing this attack.  Understand this is an unusual kind of war.  The Israelis are not practicing mass bombing, or targeting the civilian population.  Don't you find it interesting they managed on the very first day to pretty much wipe out the leadership of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.  They've selected targets that matter, and the Iraqi people are thrilled as the Iranian government has abused their people to the extreme for decades, including murder, rape, false imprisonment, rigged trials, etc., all in order to oppress their people.

I also have to believe the Iran government is now aware there must be a lot of spies giving information to Israel, up to date information.  Otherwise how could they know where to strike so accurately?

Of course the left, who loves Iranian nukes and hates American guns, blames Trump for all of this, but, they're historical idiots, clueless, offering twisted logic, something at which they excel, but in this case there's one exception, Democrat Senator Fetterman, who wants Israel to wipe out the Iranian leadership and nuclear experts entirely.  Geert Wilders waxes eloquent on Israel" saying:

I’m proud as a peacock that I support Israel. I’m proud of that. It’s not a disgrace. You’re a disgrace, making well-nigh anti-Semitic statements about a country that’s fighting for its existence.

Because that’s what it’s doing. Israel is fighting an existential battle….

And now I’m telling you, Mr. Timmermans, via you, Mr. Chairman: Israel is fighting our battle…If Jerusalem falls, then Athens, Paris, and Amsterdam are next.

They are fighting our battle. And if our mothers, in the West, can sleep peacefully, it is because the mothers of Israeli soldiers are awake, wondering whether their children will come out of the battle alive.

Rubio says the U.S. is not involved, which is good politics that no one believes, and no one can disprove, but there's a reason why the U.S. evacuated a lot of personnel from embassies around the region days ahead of all this, and is in overall support of their actions, and this is just the beginning.

If Iran falls it would be a good time to bring justice to all the victims of Iranian terror, including their vile actions against their own population.  Hunt down all these murderous thugs, and let them stand trial and explain and justify their murderous actions.

More historical background and justification on why this was inevitable, here, here, and here, and finally, I think this eight point analysis by Andrea Widburg is excellent, The situation in the Israel-Iran war is kinetic, but we can discern a few things.

Nitwit Brigade on Parade, III

Halfwits, nitwits, misfits, dipsticks, and meritless pinheads.  A vile cesspool of destructive self interested corruption.

How predictable these patterns of celebrity behavior has become!  Yesterday they were parking cars, washing dishes, and waiting tables, and now,  they're foolishly elevated to positions of influence with everyone wanting to know their views on life.  The truth about them is this, what we see is nothing more than carefully constructed illusions.  In reality, these celebrities are deeply flawed human beings, and time bears that out.  Yet, the cycle continues because the fundamental problem with celebrity culture remain unchanged.

Society elevates these misfits to godlike status to the point their isolated from the consequences of their behavior.  They never have to face social ostracism for behavior that often times is based on the worst possible instincts of human behavior.

Then we're shocked with the exposure of their mental health issues, drug and alcohol issues, and when their histories of reprehensible behavior is exposed.  Society is embracing image over character, supported by enablers who justify their behavior and their excuses.

Why are we surprised?  Why would we expect these people to self reflect on their behavior when they belong to a community built on illusion, denial, fame, and moral compromise.

Let's get this right. These people are all illegal migrants, ergo, they're criminals, and a substantial number of those being arrested have been found to be, “murderers, pedophiles, and drug traffickers. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect."

These celebrities are blatantly ignorant, stupid, or both.   Just as Great Thunberg refused to watch the video of the horrors Hamas perpetrated on innocent unarmed civilians, including babies, these celebrities see and hear nothing that disputes their insane preconceptual ideological views.  And they lie.  They're disgusting.  It's been said the Hollywood crowd fears AI is going to destroy a lot of Hollywood jobs.  It's also said AI will do some bad things.

Seven Points to Ponder

By Rich Kozlovich
  1. If transgender women could get periods, it would end this ridiculous movement in 28 days.
  2. Liberal asks, “If you home school your children, how will they know they are trans?”
  3. On December 8, 1903, the New York Times article: “Man Won’t Fly for a Million Years.” Nine days later, the Wright Brothers flew their plane.
  4. President Reagan destroyed the Soviet Union and President Trump destroyed the Democrat Party.
  5. They say money can’t buy happiness but I’m accepting donations to test that theory.
  6. New reality dating show announced: Liberal feminist women who want to “free Palestine” are sent to live with a Muslim man in the Middle East for six months.
  7. Anything seems possible if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Greta Thunberg And the Traveling Circus

By Rich Kozlovich

On June 9th Andrea Widburg, who accurately described Greta Thunberg as an "angry little troll", posted this piece at American Thinker, Israel has a fitting punishment for Greta Thunberg and her fellow ‘Hamactivists', saying:

My favorite Gilbert & Sullivan operetta is The Mikado.* One of the great songs sees the Emperor of Japan sing that his “object all sublime” is to make “the punishment fit the crime.”........I read what Israel intends to do to Greta Thunberg for invading its sovereign territory with her showboating plan to bring a few pounds of flour to the Gazans (who are not starving)........

In theory, Israel can try to imprison Thunberg and her merry band for violating its territorial waters. However, Israel has a more appropriate plan, and one that fits the crime. It’s going to educate Thunberg, who lives in a leftist bubble, about what happened on October 7....... Greta Thunberg and her posse of international activists will be forced to watch footage of the Oct. 7 terror attack after Israeli forces intercepted their Gaza-bound “selfie yacht,” Israel’s defense minister revealed Monday.

Nor will Thunberg be shown an edited version that cleans up the gore and leaves out the videos of Gazans exulting in the slaughter. Instead, she’ll see the raw footage:

Not only do they need to show the film in its raw form, they need to film the "punishment" and do it close up for each and every one of these people in order to see their reactions, and to show if they're refusing to watch the film.

The fact is they need to release the film in order for the world to see the horrors perpetrated by Hamas on October 7, 2024.... and they need to do it regularly.  As for Greta, the more you dig into her nitwittery the worse it gets, and it’s clear she’s mentally challenged.

Other than her much publicized stand of the fraud of global warming, in my Greta Thunberg file I show that she's against growing enough food to feed the world, she's against sufficient energy production needed for advanced societies to function, and any who don't agree with here are all racists.  And now she's an open antisemite and supporter of Muslim violence, torture, and destruction of western civilization.

In my September 2, 2022 article, The Thunberg Syndrome, I state:

A syndrome is defined as:  a characteristic combination of opinions, emotions, or behavior.  And that's what we are seeing with all those who are in the Church of the Warming Globe, including, and maybe especially Greta Thunberg.   I really hate to pick on a kid, but Greta Thunberg and her parents have put her on the world’s stage, and in a situation that makes her subject to serious criticism. ......She's just 16, refuses to go to school, claims her Asperger's is a "superpower", and is ascribed such mystical powers that her mother even claims "she can see carbon dioxide with the naked eye ... how it flows out of chimneys".

Well, her parents certainly failed this silly child with her cultish worship of Mother Earth and the State.  This isn't about climate or the environment.  This is about imposing a worldwide system of leftist control over humanity.  Her position on climate?  "Climate... is a crisis of human rights, justice, political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression created, fueled it."

Now ask yourself, does that sound like a scientific analysis of climate or leftist rhetoric for destroying capitalism?  This was from a child who is incapable of speaking without a script or discussing any science behind her views.

What we have here is an ignorant spoiled brat with emotional problems (more here regarding those problems) who has been turned into spokesperson for the worldwide “Warmists” movement!  As this piece points out:  I’m sure she’s been a puppet for someone since the day she came on the scene with her ‘how dare you’ blather to the world on Climate Change. Essentially she’s just a ‘Climate Change actress’ because I’m sure she’s getting paid well for her ‘activism’.......

In her case,  I wonder how this isn’t considered child abuse.

The questions not asked nearly enough are:  Who's funding this mentally challenged, ignorant, foolish person, and who provided that yacht, which needs to be confiscated?  What's interesting is who are the people traveling with her, and what do they do for a living?

The rest of the crew included six French nationals, including a French-Palestinian member of the European Parliament named Rima Hassan, plus citizens of Brazil, Spain, and Turkey, and an Irish actor named Liam Cunningham who appeared in the HBO series Game of Thrones........... Fortunately for Thunberg and her crew, they were not treated the way Hamas handles its hostages. Instead, the Israeli government released video of the detainees in good spirits as they chowed down on pastrami sandwiches.....

Yet Turkey called this the act of a terrorist state.... Imagine that .... and others are demanding a lot of people send more ships to cause trouble by claiming to have been kidnapped as Thunberg has claimed, in spite of the fact they were given every opportunity to turn back and refused.

This was "virtue signaling at its worst".  And her reason for this stunt?  "Her complaint was that Hamas was no longer in charge of aid distribution, so she essentially went on a dark money-paid yacht cruise to support Muslim terror".  Which is why they threw their phones and laptops over board in order to prevent proof of what seems obvious:  "Greta Thunberg is a Muslim terrorist working with Hamas."

Perhaps they might wish to give Greta a dictionary in order for her to look up the definition for the word kidnapped.  But, truth be told, that won't help, since one of the missions of leftists is to redefine words to make them fit their agenda, as George Orwell wrote in his book 1984, war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength, and more.

The Left’s Twisted Morality - One of the strangest things about leftists is that they claim to be more moral than the rest of us. This is because they have an inverted moral sense: on issue after issue, the Left’s position is not good, but evil. Whether it is excusing Hamas, issuing orders to keep illegal immigrant pedophiles and human traffickers in the U.S., or telling girls to shower with boys, the Left’s pet issues are all on the wrong side of any sane moral code.

Truth, facts, and history are on the same side, all of which is despised by leftism since time, truth, and history are not on their side.  Disaster follows leftists just as Sancho Panza followed Don Quixote, a mad man.  That's history, and that history is incontestable.

Greta Thunberg is a strange and angry person who's been out of the limelight for a couple of years, and I have to believe that whatever far left source that's funding her requires her to be actively involved in promoting leftist insanity on a regular basis, and she will comply, following madness, just like Sancho Panza.

As for that video they were shown of the horrors perpetrated by Hamas on innocent and defenseless civilians, mostly filmed by the terrorists, she and the rest of these misfits refused to watch it.

Defining Leftism

By Rich Kozlovich

On June 9, 2025 J.A. Frascino posted this article at American Thinker, Might you identify as a leftist?, asking a series of questions, which I've paraphrased below.

Do you prefer to rely on government versus you're own abilities, and are willing to accept any insanity as long as it destroys traditional values and obliterates the history of how and why those values came into being.  Willingly stand with group consensus versus doing any critical thinking that would make you stand out from the group enjoying and needing the comfort of the herd.  Willing to fight for things you can't explain and don't understand, hate capitalism, and the need to perform and compete in order to make a living.  Self righteously claiming equity and equality are synonymous, and since you personally identify with the deviant and marginalized, tolerance of the objectionable is acceptable.

Any leftist failures need to be forgotten in order to move forward with more leftist failures.  Accuse anyone who tries to reduce movement of being fascists, tyrants, racists, homophobes, xenophobes, and who must be attacked, even violently.

No need to present arguments that defend your positions to any who disagree with you because you're moral superiority makes you feel great, but if forced to defend you're irrational positions you react with anger, all of which is foundational to the moral, philosophical, and intellectual foundations of a Marxist disciple.

The author goes on to say leftists:

.......possess a fragile infrastructure — a victimization based, emotionally grounded belief system — which they protect from a threatening environment by constructing and projecting a rigid shell of self-righteous moral superiority, virtuousness, and altruism.  Such a façade defines them simply as enlightened, socially oriented, better people who have no need to resort to reason, logic, or reality to defend their vulnerable belief system.  Upon perceiving a threat to the shell, armed only in self-righteousness, their only recourse is to resort to angry, defensive posturing, profanity, histrionics, vengeance, and violence to prevent breaching of the shell and spillage of its contents for all to see.

you shut up, I just hope this is all that they take away”.

It would appear that whenever issues become complex or challenging you get the same result with adults as you get with children. Why?  Being accepted by their peers is extremely important to children, as it is among leftists.

On December 16, 2022 Allan J. Feifer posted this piece on American Thinker, The Rapidly Dissipating Art of Thinking, outlining things that should be obvious to the most casual observer.  Unfortunately that requires rational thought processes, something that's becoming more and more rare, especially in the leftists in the media, and celebrities who  spew out nonsensical, irrational comments and logical fallacies.

Mars and Elon Musk Are Both Out There

By Rich Kozlovich

Over time I've saved a lot of information about Elon Musk, for whom I have very little respect as I consider him to be a massively self serving con artist, feeding at the government's subsidy trough on electric cars, and even promoting global warming, and has a personal life that's not exactly awe inspiring.  He's been married three times, obviously he's not very good at marriage, who named his child with his third wife,  X Æ A-Xii. Who in the world would name their child X Æ A-Xii?

I think he's nuts.  I think he's a strange man, and not exactly inspiring confidence and trust.  However, even a blind monkey can find a coconut on occasion, and it appears he's stumbled onto a big coconut by Trump making him the head of DOGE.  I just can't figure out what is his angle.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.  In the meanwhile, let's talk history.

Musk has created a mixed bag of opinions because he's actually done something right with his X (Twitter) site exposing what European leaders have been censoring to the best of their ability, the Muslim Rape Gangs.  They consider his exposure of all this as "tinkering with their control of the working class."  And it's even bigger as  S. David Sultzer claims Musk is the last best hope for Europe’s survival, and then goes on to say Europe's leaders have driven Europe to the "brink of socialist autocracy, even as they accuse Musk of being an existential threat to “democracy” in Europe", and how these "increasingly totalitarian European governments are desperate to destroy Musk, whom they say (echoing Democrats at home) threatens democracy."

Europe is dying economically.  Now they're being forced to pay for their own defense, they're "cutting their own throats with utopian energy policies, they've corrupted their election processes in France, Germany, Romania, England and Europe is facing:

........a complete cultural collapse as hard-left politicians war on the Judeo-Christian religions, the twin foundations of Western civilization. The radical atheist/socialist left is not merely winning, but it is also inviting radical Muslims to immigrate and serve as allies in that fight.

So, who's destroying democracy in Europe?  Is it Elon Musk who's bypassing and exposing their censorship efforts and their corruption, or Europe's leaders?

Elon Musk has been touting this Mars expedition for some time, and I just can't believe what I hearing.....listen up folks....it ain't gonna happen.

It would take three years to get there, and we don't have to technology do to it. But if in some crazy way it happened and if the astronauts survived, which is unlikely, that would be a one way trip. There's all this talk how Mars might have been much different in the past and could support life..that's science fiction. So, why go there?

There's talk that Mars can be explored robotically.  Okay, I think that's at best wishful thinking, but if it could be done, so what?  Let's put some reality into this question.  Alan Stevens commented in response to the silly article Mars is part of our Manifest Destiny saying:

Mars is 500 times farther away than the Moon. The atmosphere of Mars is quite different from Earth's. It's composed mostly of carbon dioxide (95%), with smaller amounts of nitrogen (2.7%), argon (1.6%), and trace amounts of oxygen (0.13%), carbon monoxide (0.07%), and water vapor (0.03%). The atmosphere is also about 100 times thinner than Earth's, which means it provides very little protection from solar radiation and micrometeoroids.

Mars is much colder than Earth. The average surface temperature is around -80°F (-60°C), but it can vary widely. During the day, temperatures near the equator can reach up to 70°F (21°C), while at night, they can plummet to -100°F (-73°C). Near the poles, winter temperatures can drop to as low as -195°F (-125°C). Dry ice temps.

Space radiation is a major concern, as astronauts traveling to Mars will be exposed to cosmic radiation for extended periods. This can increase the risk of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and damage to the nervous system.

The vast distance between Earth and Mars means that communication will have significant delays, making real-time support from mission control impossible. This requires astronauts to be highly autonomous and capable of making critical decisions independently.

Creating a closed ecosystem that can support human life for the duration of the mission is a complex challenge. This includes providing food, water, and oxygen, as well as managing waste and maintaining a habitable environment.

Martian soil is rich in iron oxides, giving it the characteristic red color. It also contains silicates, sulfates, and perchlorates. Perchlorates are toxic compounds that pose a challenge for potential human habitats and agriculture.

There's nothing there! There's no reason to go there!  Maybe to build a space port on a planet with no way to develop it's resources, assuming there are resources, no infrastructure, no manufacturing capacity, no people to build it, and if that miracle happened the purpose would be to go..... where?

There's nothing out there for humanity, and while I will happily give credit to Elon Musk for exposing all the Muslim rape gangs in Europe, that doesn't change the fact I think he's a con man, and I think he's nuts.

That bring me to the Musk-Trump feud, and "finding out who's the smartest guy in the room?..... The social-media feud between the world’s most powerful man and the richest man was unbecoming, but it was incorrigible Elon who raced to the bottom.  Trump comes out smelling like roses, and the BBB remains on track.  Elon a genius?  Sure, whatever, but Trump is smarter.  MAGA marches on."

While I think the Big Beautiful Bill is just big, and in Musk's defense is he making some seriously valid points about this bill, which Musk called a ‘Disgusting Abomination" saying:

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”

Or is it just sour grapes on his part over the end of his EV tax credits?  But Trump claims he always knew that would be eliminated.  But then he went over the line, way over the line, claiming the reason the Epstein files haven't been released is because Trump is in them.

Since the files haven't been released he knows this how?  Are we to believe Pam Bondi or Kash Patel shared that information with him?  Yeah, that's as believable as saying rain isn't wet.

No his evidence is a video of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein at a party that's been around for years, and Epstein's lawyer refutes that saying there's nothing that incriminates Trump saying:

I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!

Apparently reality is reaching it's apex over this with Musk, and Musk thinks he and  Trump should “make peace” (and here).  Trump may move on on publicly, but privately, Musk went over the top and must be punished, and he deserves to be punished.  I also think Musk is a nasty, foolish, and petulant snot with an ego that makes Trump look humble, who shoots off his mouth and thinks he can get away with it, and has, until now.  He's burnt that bridge forever.

From the beginning my opinion of this man is he's weird beyond weird.  He's a lousy husband, he gives his children weird names, he's a back stabber and scam artist who has fed like a hog on government grants and subsidies.  Not one bit of this surprises me.  He's done a lot of good with Twitter in exposing the Muslim rape gangs in Europe, especially in Britain since the Brits censor all that, and he did good work on DOGE, but that's like a broken clock... right twice a day.  If there ever was evidence of interstellar aliens here on Earth, then he's their ambassador.

Finally, what did he hope to gain from all this?  I have no idea, except he loves the be in the limelight, and I'm of the opinion he's capable of shifting gears faster than an automatic transmission in order to do that.

Alternative Energy is a Bust, and That Was as Predictable as Night Follows Day. Get Over It!

By Rich Kozlovich

This article appeared in Human Events in 2012, but the link no longer works, as Human Events has gone through some changes.  Supposedly it's still publishing on line, but I don't see much from them, so you will have to take my word for what was said... or not ..... as it pleases you.

The article went on to say:
It was one of Barack Obama’s favorite green-energy companies. And green-energy companies, according to the president, are one of the best ways to facilitate economic growth.  Well, yesterday, The Denver Post detailed the criminal investigation of Abound Solar, a defunct solar-panel manufacturer in Colorado that was run on taxpayer “investments,” for securities fraud, consumer fraud and financial misrepresentation.
Abound shuttered its Colorado plant during the summer and filed for bankruptcy, leaving “125 workers without jobs and taxpayers holding the bag for up to $60 million in defaulted loans.”
I don’t care how much money is wasted on this horsepucky, alternative energy is a bust, it always has been a bust, and expensive bust.
We're not running out of "fossil fuels", CO2 isn't warming the globe, and the computer projections about global warming are all "game boy" science, garbage in, garbage out.   The fact is, while these nitwits are often wrong, they're never in doubt, and humanity is left paying the penalty for their folly.
The reality is the technology for so-called alternative energy has not progressed all that much beyond what Jimmy Carter tried in the seventies.  That was a failure then and so is it still a failure now.  Even if we could get these farces to work and produce vast amounts of energy we couldn’t do it without destroying the environment.
Did anyone ever see how much land it takes to produce large amounts of solar energy?  Did anyone ever see how many wind mills it takes to produce large amounts of wind energy?  Did anyone ever see the impact ethanol production takes on the environment, and at every stage of production?

Even beyond the fact alternative energy systems are completely incapable of producing enough energy, and do it reliably, the biggest problem they have to overcome is how to store enough energy for when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow.  You can only pack so many electrons in a confined area.  No battery system in the world can meet those needs.  That means we will have to maintain traditional power plants in reserve.  Okay, what's that mean.  That means they are up and running, but not producing energy, or little energy.
I have gone over this before, but I will do it again.
Power plants cannot just be shut off like a light switch.  It takes a lot of heat to make enough steam to turn the turbines at a high enough rate to produce enough electricity to meet demand.  That means they are burning coal or gas constantly to keep the ovens hot.   That is expensive.  So what we are doing is paying for energy we aren’t using, in order to use energy we don’t need.
The world went insane over this, but that's changing because as Europe is discovering alternatives are a bust, and an expensive bust.
We've reached the Inevitability Factor!  That's when reality reaches its zenith!  What I find interesting is all of this was a predictable as night follows day, but when corrupt thinking permeates governments and the media, "truth takes the hindmost".  Ideology makes smart people stupid.

The Big Beautiful Bill That Isn't

There's is one overwhelming quality of the Republican party. The ability to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. There's a reason they're called "the stupid party", they earned it.

By Rich Kozlovich

I'm going to be honest here, clarity over this budget is difficult to grasp.  However, No matter what anyone says, I do know it will increase spending, increase the nation's debt limit, and the national debt.

Another thing that's clear is that old axiom, "Don't tax you, don't tax me.  Tax that fellow behind the tree", mentality is in play here, only it's "Don't cut me, don't cut you.  Cut that man behind the tree".  Especially if SALT is involved....both parties..... which is addressed below.

Both parties are fighting to keep their wedge of the pie, few of them will support the number one solution, which is, massive cuts across the board, including Medicaid, which apparently has now become untouchable.

My grandfather, a farmer and coal miner,  was one of the world's great economists.  He said if you spend more than you make, you'll go broke.  Beyond that, there's much here that seems irrational, and confusing to me, so, here are the articles I've gathered, both pro and con going back to when the bill was first introduced in the House to lend a bit of history to this piece, not necessarily in chronological order.   So, peruse them and decide for yourself if you'd vote for it.

Personally, I wouldn't, I don't see a thing that addresses what should be the number one issue for all the members of Congress and the Administration.   Paying off the national debt, which is possible, all it takes is guts.  What I am in favor of is a budget battle and a government shut down to force major cuts in spending, and major cuts in the size of government.

What’s in Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’?The House passed the legislation in a 215–214 vote.  House Republicans passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to implement President Donald Trump’s agenda in an early morning session on May 22. The legislative package, totaling more than 1,000 pages, encompasses provisions that touch almost every area of federal policy and spending, ranging from tax cuts to Medicaid to the border. Though it makes spending cuts across several sectors of the federal government, the Congressional Budget Office has projected the bill would add $3.8 trillion to the deficit over 10 years.....

Republican Holdouts on the Big, Beautiful Bill: Politics at its worst  May 22, 2025 - Very soon, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) will bring the Big, Beautiful reconciliation bill to the floor for a full House vote before it heads to the Senate for more tinkering. As of now, several Republican members of the House of Representatives have said they would vote against the bill as it is currently written.  Generally, the House Republicans who oppose the bill fall into two camps: House Freedom Caucus members and Republicans in deep blue states.

Who are we protecting? May 22, 2025 - Among the many aspects of President Trump's attempt to reverse decades of "free trade" policy, which was a cynical label used to disguise the deliberate hollowing out of American manufacturing, one of the most important has been scarcely remarked.  Critics of Trump's efforts to correct that disastrous policy delight in mocking his new direction as "protectionist," as if that were automatically a bad thing. Yet even the most avid advocates of so-called "free trade" have supported selective protectionism. Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804), the most "free trade" oriented of the Founding Fathers, wrote of the benefits of protecting "infant industries." The idea was to shield certain industries from foreign competition until they could gain their footing and grow strong enough to compete globally. Those being protected were American workers, the same group Trump is now trying to benefit...........

Bond Market Shock: Is a New Financial Crisis Looming? On Friday, Moody’s downgraded the U.S. credit rating, sending shockwaves through the bond market. Japan, in particular, is under intense pressure, with yields on its 40-year government bonds (JGBs) surging to 3.45% from 2.09% earlier this year. This upheaval threatens the global foundation of government bonds. Are we on the brink of a new debt crisis?.......

Buckling under to the Green New Deal  May 21, 2025  - (See also, “Trump’s ‘big’ and ‘beautiful’ tax bill retains hundreds of billions (maybe trillions?) in ‘Green New Deal’ spending” by Olivia Murray.)  In an earlier article for American Thinker, I wrote about the Conservative Climate Caucus in Congress, providing proof that bad ideas can flourish on both sides of the political divide. I concluded the article by warning readers that it was important to eliminate all vestiges of the Green New Deal and stop subsidy-seeking companies from manipulating the political environment to enrich themselves at the expense of the public.......

Trump appears to be losing patience with blue-state Republicans on SALT — President Donald Trump took a surprising swipe Tuesday at efforts to increase a key tax deduction — underscoring that the main beneficiaries would be Democratic “governors from New York, Illinois and California.” His comments, during a visit to Capitol Hill to rally support for his policy megabill, came as House Republicans from blue states are holding out for a major increase in the federal deduction for state and local taxes, or SALT.......

GOP Rep. Massie: ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ Will Add $20 Tril to debt - The Big Beautiful Bill will add $20 trillion of federal debt over 10 years, and that’s according to the authors of it. But there’s another huge problem: it will increase the price of the $36 trillion of debt we already have, as bond buyers realize we aren’t fiscally responsible..............

Trump after GOP meeting: Any Republican who opposes budget plan is ‘a fool’ - President Donald Trump held a closed-door meeting Tuesday with various Republican factions in an effort to bridge party divisions over his "One Big, Beautiful Bill" — a sweeping piece of legislation aimed at funding his agenda.  While, in Trump’s words, “there was a lot of love in the room,” he also warned that he would regard as “a fool” “anybody that didn't support it [meaning the bill] as a Republican.”  He also assured that it would be “the biggest tax reduction in history” and “the biggest regulation reduction in history,” emphasizing that it would protect Medicaid and Medicare: “We're going to keep them, and even make them stronger.”........

Trump’s ‘big’ and ‘beautiful’ tax bill retains hundreds of billions (maybe trillions?) in ‘Green New Deal’ spending May 20, 2025 - Congressional Republicans are the absolute worst, for many reasons, but this time, it has to do with the “big” and “beautiful” tax bill that’s working its way toward Donald Trump’s desk—Republicans, despite holding both houses, as well as the Oval Office, are set to retain hundreds of billions of dollars in Green New Deal provisions, if they get their way. Here’s the context, from Adam N. Michel and Joshua Loucks at the Cato Institute:......

Tax reform isn’t inevitable -- it’s earned  May 16, 2025 - In the summer of 2017, Washington, D.C. was not just sweltering in heat -- it was smoldering with political disappointment. Republicans had just failed to repeal ObamaCare, despite a decade of promises.  I was the Digital Communications Director for Speaker Paul Ryan at that time -- a job I also held for Speakers John Boehner and Kevin McCarthy -- and those closed-door meetings in the days that followed were disorienting. Congressional Republicans spent August licking our wounds. But by September, we were determined to show the American people that we deserved the majorities they gave us........

'Big, Beautiful Bill' Passes Committee Vote After Mike Johnson Agrees to Changes Pushed by Conservatives-  President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful bill” that would extend his 2017 tax cuts and reshape federal spending cleared a hurdle Sunday night that it failed to clear last week. The bill passed the House Budget Committee 17-16 in a rare Sunday night vote, according to The New York Times. The bill failed a similar vote on Friday......

Majority Whip Barrasso Says Senate Will Match House Spending Cuts, Marking a Huge Shift in Direction - Republican Senate Whip John Barrasso told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo that he believes the Senate will be able to match the big spending cuts proposed in the House version of the budget. In fact, he thinks the Senate might cut deeper.....

Here’s what’s in the House GOP’s sweeping tax and spending cuts package -  The House GOP narrowly passed its massive tax and spending cuts package ahead of its Memorial Day deadline, sending President Donald Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill” over to the Senate, where it will likely face many changes.  The package includes several controversial measures that would deeply cut into two of the nation’s key safety net programs – Medicaid and food stamps – while making permanent essentially all of the trillions of dollars of individual income tax breaks contained in the GOP’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. What’s more, it would fulfill Trump’s campaign promises to cut taxes on tips and overtime, albeit temporarily.  The magnitude of the measures is evident in the estimates of the cost they would incur or the savings they would produce. The tax changes in the package would add $3.8 trillion to the nation’s debt over a decade, according to a Congressional Budget Office analysis released before last-minute changes were made to the bill......

'Big, Beautiful Bill' Quashed by Several House Conservatives in Committee Vote - The “One Big Beautiful Bill” fell short in a House Budget Committee vote Friday, with conservatives on the panel arguing it does not cut federal spending enough.  Axios reported that the final tally was 16-21, as GOP Reps. Chip Roy of Texas, Ralph Norman and Andrew Clyde of Georgia, and Josh Brecheen of Oklahoma joined all of the committee’s Democratic members in voting against the measure......

Liberal Amnesty Group Inadvertently Makes Great Case for the Trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill - Congressional Republicans have got to get their act together on the budget reconciliation package, which hopefully will be settled this weekend. Yet, liberal pro-immigrant groups might have inadvertently made the case to pass the mega-bill since it’s chock-full of immigration enforcement measures that make pro-illegal alien activists recoil.......

Trump's OMB Director Quietly Calls Out the Republicans Threatening to Derail the 'Big, Beautiful Bill' - The Republican Party was on a game-winning drive for the budget reconciliation package, and it looked like they could fumble the ball on the goal line. The bill is in serious trouble, given the House Republican majority’s slim majority where a few defections can lead to disaster. It was not a good Friday for the caucus (via WSJ):......

House Budget Committee Votes Down Big Beautiful Bill - The House Budget Committee voted down a budget reconciliation bill just after noon Friday in a temporary roadblock for President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.”  The defeat of the bill is another expected — if unnecessary — bump in the often messy negotiating process of the massive piece of legislation.......

The ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ will bring big benefits for blue-collar workers May 17, 2025 - Despite all these provisions that will boost workers’ take-home pay and create new manufacturing jobs, almost every Democrat continues to portray Trump's bill as nothing more than a tax cut for the rich......

Kevin O’Leary sounds the alarm on tyrannical new provisions in Trump’s ‘big’ and ‘beautiful’ tax bill With “friends” like Republicans, who needs Democrats?  Just yesterday I wrote about a new betrayal out of Washington from our spineless Republicans “representatives” who just passed a “pro-gun” bill—but not pro-gun in a Second Amendment “shall not be infringed” kind of way, rather in a showmanship and superficial pro-gun way. The LEOSA Reform Act (H.R. 2243) would establish a national constitutional carry…but only for law enforcement. (At this time, I suggest you read Monica Showalter’s blog on “cops who act like third-world cops because they are third-world cops” found here.) Can we the civilian class, or as George Mason would say, “the militia,” get the same recognition of God-given rights?..............

GOP Hardliners Defy Trump, Block 'Big Beautiful Bill' - The House GOP leadership suffered what the Hill describes as a "stunning setback" on Friday when five conservative members of their own party blocked a spending bill crucial to President Trump's legislative agenda. The five Republicans joined all Democrats on the House Budget Committee in voting against the sweeping package of tax cuts and spending reductions—known as the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" in deference to Trump. The five dissenting Republicans want deeper spending cuts...........

House GOP’s Medicaid Reform Would Force Millions of Able-Bodied Americans to Get Back to Work -  House Republicans’ proposal to impose work requirements on Medicaid would force millions of Americans to meet new eligibility conditions or lose coverage, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned. At least 3.5 million individuals will be removed from Medicaid rolls due to House Republicans’ proposal to require most able-bodied Americans to work, volunteer or be in school for at least 20 hours a week to qualify for the entitlement program, according to a source familiar with an estimate from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office that could be released as early as Friday. GOP lawmakers have justified the imposition of work requirements among other reforms to Medicaid by arguing that the entitlement program should prioritize Americans who need coverage the most, not able-bodied adults or illegal migrants........

Hawley: I Can’t Support House Bill’s ‘Real Medicaid Benefit Cuts’ - Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said Wednesday on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that he will not support the House spending bill because it has “real Medicaid benefit cuts.”  Hawley said, “It ought to be just a basic foundational principle, it is wrong to cut health care for the working poor, and that’s what we’re talking about here with Medicaid. My state is a Medicaid expansion state, over 20% of Missourians, including hundreds of thousands of children, are on Medicaid.”.......

All GOP Senators Have to Do Is Not Be Dumb, So We’re in Trouble - It’s times like these that remind me that the Latin root of the words “Senate” and “senile” are the same. Of course, all bad senators aren’t senile. Some are just stupid. But sadly, even the stupid ones are necessary because we must keep the Senate in 2026 to make Donald Trump’s second administration a success. That means we must be smart and self-sacrificing, and GOP senators (and aspiring senators) must be smart and self-sacrificing. Which means we have a challenge.....

Speaker: Critics Wrong, Bill Will ‘Reduce the Deficit,’ Not Raise It - The liberal media, suddenly concerned about spending and deficits with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB), is missing the boat on what President Donald Trump's tax cut and spending program will do for U.S. revenues, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., argued Sunday...............

OMB’s Vought: Big Beautiful Bill Doesn’t Increase Deficit - Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought pushed back Sunday against Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency commission, stating that the Big Beautiful Bill will not increase deficit spending or affect the growth of the national debt........

6 Senate Republicans Who Could Hold Up Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ - Senate Republicans will take control of the party’s mammoth tax and domestic policy bill when they return to Washington on Monday — and seek to win over a diverse group of GOP lawmakers agitating for changes to the legislation. Members are staring down a key four-week stretch to hammer out provisions of the bill, with their Fourth of July goal in sight and pressure mounting to complete President Trump’s top domestic agenda priority. .............

Rand Paul Threatens To Block Trump’s Economic Bill Over Debt Ceiling Concerns - Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said on Sunday that he would support President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" if the debt ceiling hike was removed. Paul told CBS' "Face the Nation" host Margaret Brennan that he and three other Republican senators will hold out against the bill unless it is modified.  "I think there are four of us at this point, and I would be very surprised if the bill at least is not modified in a good direction," Paul said.

‘It’s Completely Unsustainable’: Republican Lawmaker Doubles Down, Knocks Trump Tax Bill  - Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisconsin, is doubling down on his concerns about a bill that would make sweeping changes to taxes, Medicaidfood stamps and more after it was passed last month in the Republican-led House at the urging of President Donald Trump. The more-than-1,000-page bill narrowly cleared the lower chamber on May 22. Now, it faces an uncertain future in the Senate, where some conservatives have raised concerns about the legislation's cost. "It's completely unsustainable,"...........

Musk Slams Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ As Undercutting DOGE, Raising National Deficit - Elon Musk said the spending in President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing.” Mr. Musk also suggested that the description of the bill goes too far.  “I was like disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit … and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing,” he said in an interview with CBS. “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. I don’t know if it can be both.”................

Deregulation deferred — not defeated — by the Big Beautiful Bill - In my latest Forbes column, I detail how the House-passed “One Big Beautiful Bill” (BBB) had the potential to revolutionize federal regulatory policy. But last-minute changes in the House stripped away provisions that could have both pruned existing rules and reshaped how regulations are made and managed henceforth. The Senate now takes up the BBB..............

Rand Paul States His Position on House GOP’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ - Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is against the One Big Beautiful Bill Act the House passed early Thursday morning and made his position to Senate leadership clear. The sticking point for the Kentucky Republican is that the bill includes language to raise the debt limit................

Okay, so, now that you've read all these articles, is everything involving this BBB clear in your mind?
