Let's Have Negotiations....Maybe!

By Rich Kozlovich

Iran's government has unendingly shouted how it will destroy Israel and the Great Satan, the United States.  When Israel finally attacked it warned America to stay out of it or face the consequences of Iranian wrath. Well, Israel has been attacking Iran for what would be the sixth day, and Iranian wrath has amounted to many of the leadership being killed and running scared.  Those in leadership positions clearly understand this is the end of their rule, and justifiably fear what will happen to them when it all collapses.

Private citizens are moving away from the target areas and some out of the country, and it's being reported Khamenei is hiding with family in bunker somewhere.  This is the end for the ayatollahs.  When the leader leaves the battlefield, the battle is over.

The military is rife with desertions, their oil repositories, refineries, and petrochemical plants are being destroyed, their nuke facilities being attacked and partially destroyed.  Their military capability is directly being targeted.  They no longer have an air force, or much left in the way of air defense capability, their official news source has been destroyed, and it's clear their entire government has been infiltrated at the highest levels by spies feeding up to date information to Israel otherwise there would be no way Israel could have targeted the leadership for destruction as they did.   It's even claimed their counter espionage units are filled with spies.  Most likely Iranians who hate their government.

In the next few days Iran's population will be without power, fuel, and many will find food supplies limited, and that will be the end of any semblance of stability.  Violence is going to break out, and it seems unlikely the regime will be able to stop it.

The value of their currency is dropping like a stone.  Inflation is skyrocketing and the government is introducing foreign currency into their market, but still has to make sure their lackeys are paid and fed, seriously limiting how much they can do to stop this economic bloodshed.

One sociology professor has written his views of the Iranian government's actions:

“Who or what has given you the right or legitimacy to drive our country and its integrity—bequeathed to us by the great figures and martyrs of this land—toward destruction?” ............“Whether you accept it or not, the people of this country no longer see you as their legitimate rulers. Your continued presence in politics is a disgrace to reason, morality, and the political history of this land.”

Israel has made it clear, there are targets that must be destroyed before any negotiations happen.  As for the claim that if the U.S. gives Israel the bunker buster bombs necessary to really destroy the Nuke sites means that America is at war with Iran?  If so, then why is it when Iran supplied drones to Russia they weren't at war with Ukraine? When N. Korea supplied military hardware and man power to the Russians why doesn't it mean they're at war with Ukraine?  The same with China supplying soldiers for the Russian army, why doesn't that mean China is at war with Ukraine?  If not, then why the double standard?

While Trump has consistently asked for negotiations with Iran, they've arrogantly rebuffed him.  They just never grasped who they're dealing with.   He isn't Joe Biden, Barack Obama, or Jimmy Carter. Now that Iran's defensive and offensive capability has been ripped to shreds Iran is begging for negotiations in order to stop the attacks.  Israel is decimating Iran, and as "President Trump has noted, these clowns had their chance, but instead of cutting a deal... they blew it." And now Trump's not in the mood to negotiate.  The USAF is deploying for potential action in the Middle East, and Israel is saving civilization.

While Iraq’s Hezbollah brigades are making a lot of noise about attacking the Great Satan on Iran's behalf, the rest of the Muslim world isn't all that upset, as they consider Iran the real danger to the stability of the region, not Israel or the U.S.

Here’s the way I see it. If Iran is talking negotiations they’re in deep trouble and they’re actually talking delay in their destruction in the hope of realigning their forces. So, if they want to have a sit down it starts after their oil production is destroyed, along with their military installations, their energy plants, and their sea ports and navy. Once that’s done then if they still want to negotiate they must agree to these preconditions.

  1. The end of, and the dismantling of, all their the their nuke research.
  2. The end of their support of Hamas, Hezbollah, and any other terrorist movement.
  3. Their military reduced by 75 percent immediately.
  4. The end to selling or distributing military hardware internationally.
  5. Agree to the end of their current government, and hold an open and free election with total control and oversight given to an international body.
  6. Those in the leadership who planned for, along with those who executed those terrorist plans to be tried for crimes against humanity by the new government.

Once all that is agreed to then they can have a sit down and negotiate, in Tel Aviv.

Israeli Attack on Iran Was Inevitable

It's in for a penny in for a pound time now!

By Rich Kozlovich

All this stuff about Iran is mind boggling, and much of it can be placed at the feet of the three Obama terms and the EU. Iran declared war on the west the minute the Shah left and Khomeini took over, 46 years ago, and have acted in that manner at a practical level ever since. The game playing should have ended long ago when Iran made members of the American embassy hostages, but then Carter was President, not Reagan or Trump.   The minute Reagan was elected the mullahs decided it was a good idea to release them, after 444 days of Carter's incompetent policies of appeasement.  Keep that in mind.

The minute Iran launched all those missiles at Israel, an outright undeclared act of war, that's when the line was crossed, and Israel had every right to retaliate in any way they saw fit.

I admire Trump’s ability to get adversaries to come to the table and make agreements, the Abrahamic Accords as an example. But you cannot make agreements with people who don’t want an agreement. Neither Russia or Ukraine wants the war to end, and most certainly Iran will not give up its desire to destroy Israel and do it with nuclear tipped missiles.

Iran has been found to have been lying about their nuclear program …. imagine that, and finally someone is telling the truth in the 11th hour. Make no mistake about this. The US has the intelligence that confirms all I’ve said, and I’m convinced this had to happen because Iran's domestic and international problems are so massive they fear they’re going to be kicked out of power, making this their last chance to destroy Israel, and they will not pass it up, no matter how suicidal it may be.

Operation ‘Rising Lion' has been launched, and it only took 46 years.  Now five waves of Israeli fighters carried out hundreds of missions across distances thought to be impossible without refueling, but Israel proved the to be false before.  On the first day they dropped over 330 munitions on about 100 targets, including the Natanz nuclear sight, which was just one of many.  The top Iranian military commander for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a number of nuclear experts were killed.  How great the damage was isn't clear, but it's being called superficial, and Iran has launched missiles and drones in response, which in the past has been largely ineffective, and the attacks by Israel continue.

I really love these Muslim leaders who spout nonsense like Iraqi Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr who describes this a threat to the entire region and in infringement of Iraqi airspace to get to Iran.  It's interesting you're not seeing the other nations of that region worrying about a threat to them since it's Iran whose been the threat to the region, not Israel.

It's also interesting how the people of Iran are viewing this attack.  Understand this is an unusual kind of war.  The Israelis are not practicing mass bombing, or targeting the civilian population.  Don't you find it interesting they managed on the very first day to pretty much wipe out the leadership of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.  They've selected targets that matter, and the Iraqi people are thrilled as the Iranian government has abused their people to the extreme for decades, including murder, rape, false imprisonment, rigged trials, etc., all in order to oppress their people.

I also have to believe the Iran government is now aware there must be a lot of spies giving information to Israel, up to date information.  Otherwise how could they know where to strike so accurately?

Of course the left, who loves Iranian nukes and hates American guns, blames Trump for all of this, but, they're historical idiots, clueless, offering twisted logic, something at which they excel, but in this case there's one exception, Democrat Senator Fetterman, who wants Israel to wipe out the Iranian leadership and nuclear experts entirely.  Geert Wilders waxes eloquent on Israel" saying:

I’m proud as a peacock that I support Israel. I’m proud of that. It’s not a disgrace. You’re a disgrace, making well-nigh anti-Semitic statements about a country that’s fighting for its existence.

Because that’s what it’s doing. Israel is fighting an existential battle….

And now I’m telling you, Mr. Timmermans, via you, Mr. Chairman: Israel is fighting our battle…If Jerusalem falls, then Athens, Paris, and Amsterdam are next.

They are fighting our battle. And if our mothers, in the West, can sleep peacefully, it is because the mothers of Israeli soldiers are awake, wondering whether their children will come out of the battle alive.

Rubio says the U.S. is not involved, which is good politics that no one believes, and no one can disprove, but there's a reason why the U.S. evacuated a lot of personnel from embassies around the region days ahead of all this, and is in overall support of their actions, and this is just the beginning.

If Iran falls it would be a good time to bring justice to all the victims of Iranian terror, including their vile actions against their own population.  Hunt down all these murderous thugs, and let them stand trial and explain and justify their murderous actions.

More historical background and justification on why this was inevitable, here, here, and here, and finally, I think this eight point analysis by Andrea Widburg is excellent, The situation in the Israel-Iran war is kinetic, but we can discern a few things.

P&D and The Week That Was

Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

De Omnibus Dubitandum, (Everything is to be questioned!)

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, just when you think it can't get any crazier, another week flies by and you find, you're wrong, it really can get crazier.

The Longshoremen went on strike with their leader swearing to destroy America, and now we have a "temporary" return to work with a substantial pay increase.  But that's not the issue.  It's automation, and ultimately, that's a losing issue for the union.

the federal prosecutor who isn't a federal prosecutor, going before a corrupt Trump hating judge is trying an end run around the Supreme Court's decision on Presidential Immunity, and as I read that I couldn't help be think of that scene in a Few Good Men where:

Lt. Weinberg: [sarcastically to Joanne with Danny present, in an empty courtroom after the trial has been adjourned for the day] "I strenuously object?" Is that how it works? Hm? "Objection." "Overruled." "Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object." "Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider."

All these cases against Trump are collapsing.   The review of the cases in New York aren't going well for the prosecutors with the appeals court in effect asking how can there be a crime of fraud if no one is a victim?  In Georgia the prosecutor, and her paramour may even end up in prison.  And it seems clear to me there will be a RICO investigation over all this if Trump is elected.

Israel has in effect told Biden, Blinkin, the UN, the EU to take their advice and shove it, and declared this is a win or die war for them.  Neither Russia or Iran officially declared war on Ukraine and Israel, and the UN doesn't seem to mind that, but when Israel strikes back, they must use restraint, agree to a cease fire, and a two state solution.  Their goal? The destruction of Israel and they just can't seem to understand why Netanyahu won't go along with that.  Bibi gets it, this is a do or die war.

Robin Itzler added an interesting chuckle fest side bar in her weekly newsletter about those pagers and walkie-talkies that either seriously wounded or killed over 3000 Hezhollah fanatics.  It turns out they were invented by Irving "Al" Gross, a Jew.

As for Lebanon, it seemed to me the only answer was to break Lebanon up into separate countries, Christian and Muslim.  I asked one of my geopolitical experts who I correspond with occasionally if that was a potential?  His answer:

Lebanese Christians are already demanding federalism. They have come to the conclusion that Greater Lebanon, which was declared in 1920 by General Henry Gouraud, French General Commissioner for the Levant, has failed.

Are Republicans actually getting smart about debates?  Trump won't sit for an interview with 60 Minutes, and the poor little muff muffs are whining about it, at least until they apologize

They came to me and would like me to do an interview, but first I want to get an apology because the last time I did an interview with them, if you remember, they challenged me on the computer. They said the laptop from hell was from Russia. And I said it wasn’t from Russia, it was from Hunter [Biden]. And I never got an apology, so I’m sort of waiting. I’d love to do 60 Minutes. I do everything. … The laptop from hell was from Hunter. It wasn’t from [Russia]. … If you remember, Lesley Stahl, we got into a little bit of an argument … and they really owe me an apology. … Let’s see if they do it. I wouldn’t mind doing 60 Minutes.

Two things.  The Pravda media is toast, ignoring them is ascendant, attacking them is on the rise, and any debates from this point on should be orchestrated by conservatives picking the moderators, none of which should ever again be lying, corrupt Pravda media hacks.  And if they don't like it, tell them to shove it.  And even with the corruption by the media, both Kamala and Walz looked like dimwits.

Putin's again threatening to use nukes, as he's done over and over again, but recently I've discovered, at least the claim is when this broke out the US warmed Putin if he did use nukes every Russian asset around the world would be destroyed with conventional forces.  If that's true that would explain much of what he's doing lately in an attempt to show he's not afraid of such an action.  He is afraid.  His economy is in trouble, China's is in trouble, their societies are upset at their leadership.

As for Zelenskyy (correct spelling) his con has run it's course, and his stand of no compromise will end or Ukraine will cease to exist.  Based on Europe's economic woes, and Trump's view of this whole thing, the funding is going to dry up, and soon. Biden has agreed to give him eight billion dollars, all most likely untracked, as has been the pattern, but he says he has no money for the victims of hurricane Helena.  Good thinking on Biden's part just before an election.  But given his history, Kamala's history, Walz's history, and the history of the Democrat party, why are we surprised?

This week I have six commentaries of my own and eighteen by others, with the four permanent links.  Fall is here, winter is on the way, most of my projects are finished, and it's time to start working the ground for fall planting, and I like that, as even a newsie like me can only stand so much.

Enjoy today's offerings, and remember warm memories never wear out their welcome in our lives.  Have a warm memory weekend.
