Media Picks a Fight With Trump Over South Africa – Big Mistake

When the left-wing press insists something isn’t happening, it’s happening.

The establishment media has gotten itself into another fine mess, as the late, great Oliver Hardy would have put it. And, once again, it is destined for humiliation at the hands of President Donald Trump. On May 21, he hosted Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa, at the White House. This meeting came on the heels of 59 Afrikaners arriving in the United States – white South Africans of primarily Dutch descent who chose to flee a regime that is openly hostile toward them.

At one point during the encounter between the two leaders, Trump made his South African counterpart watch a video of a black South African politician, at a packed outdoor rally, inciting the murder of white farmers.

The US leftist media was not happy, but they have already picked out the paint and chosen the corner into which they will paint themselves – again. As if any more proof were needed that there is no independent journalism on the left and that these media outfits all draw from the same progressive talking points, the rebukes were swift and all but identical.

Trump’s claim that the white farmers of South Africa are the victims of genocide was attacked by much of the left-wing legacy media as “unfounded,” “false,” “unsubstantiated,” etc.

The New York Times and ABC News, in particular, took a drubbing on the X social media platform. Their attempts to deny the existence of a deadly situation for which the evidence is copious and beyond rational dispute drew much scorn and ridicule.

Reality in South Africa

The Encyclopedia Britannica defines genocide as “the deliberate and systematic destruction of a group of people because of their ethnicity, nationality, religion, or race.” Whether what has been happening in South Africa can be called genocide, then, is a matter of perspective. Race is not the only factor driving the undeniable victimization of Afrikaner farmers – but it is a factor. That’s hard to deny, given the videos of hundreds of black rallygoers chanting “kill the white farmer.”

The former African National Congress (ANC) leader and president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, once sang, “Shoot the Farmer, Kill the Boer” at a party rally, even though the song was officially banned. Boer means farmer, but only white South Africans call themselves – or are known as – Boers.

It should be noted that South Africa’s ruling Marxist ANC doesn’t allow unsanctioned rallies. If a huge crowd of people is whipped into a frenzy and chanting for the death of certain people, then the ANC has given that event at least tacit approval.

In 2017, the Australian website news.com.au published the story of Sue Howarth and her husband, Robert Lynn. They had a farm in Dullstroom, South Africa. One night, their home was invaded by three black men who tortured them for hours – partly with a blowtorch – before driving them out to the side of the road and shooting them. Somehow, Howarth survived and was found the next day by passers-by. However, she died in the hospital from her injuries.

This is just one of a great many similar attacks. The news report noted, “Nearly every day, horrific acts of rape, torture and murder are carried out on a community under siege.” The story also cited figures from the Transvaal Agricultural Union (TAU) and AfriForum, a civil rights group. “In total, between 1998 and the end of 2016, 1,848 people have been murdered in farm attacks — 1,187 farmers, 490 family members, 147 farm employees, and 24 people who happened to be visiting the farm at the time.”

Not All Black and White

At the same time, there’s no all-out race war being waged in South Africa, which would justify the term “genocide.” The government isn’t openly killing whites, and there are in fact some minority political parties with white members of the government. Whites make up around 7% of the population. Most are descended from the Dutch, who began settling in what is now South Africa in the mid-1600s. Their language, Afrikaans, is predominantly a Germanic language, a form of Dutch but with its own characteristics.

It is also worth considering the overall crime rate. After the ruling white National Party ended the system of apartheid and ceded power to the ANC, South Africa – by far the most stable and prosperous country in sub-Saharan Africa – rapidly descended into chaos and poverty. For nearly three decades now, South Africa has been one of the most dangerous countries in the world.

Trump’s claims, then, may need some context, but they are neither false nor unfounded. White farmers are indeed the targets of systematic violence, whether one calls it genocide or not. The media has chosen to downplay the many lethal assaults on white farmers as merely a part of South Africa’s out-of-control crime wave.

Yet, the statistics – never mind the homicidal threats by South Africa’s black government-approved activist community – point to the deliberate targeting of white-owned farms. TAU spokesman Henk van de Graaf in 2016 told Swedish newspaper Nya Tider, “The average murder ratio per 100,000 of the population in the world is nine, I believe. In South Africa, it is 54. But for the farming community it is 138, which is the highest for any occupation in the world.”

Media Opens Pandora’s Box

America’s legacy media is battered and bruised and, figuratively, near death after a brutal few years. Promoting stories that turned out to be hoaxes while refuting an almost countless number of claims that were eventually verified has taken its toll.

Give Cable TV the Boot – Check This Out!

This was not the hill anti-Trump editorial boards should have chosen to die on. The president has now shone a spotlight on South Africa. While the so-called mainstream media will not investigate the plight of the Afrikaners, others no doubt will. The more they dig, the more apparent it will become that the South African regime is allowing, or at least ignoring, an ongoing murderous campaign in which whites are the victims and blacks the aggressors. That’s not something the American left wants people to hear.

The cacophony of indignation over Trump’s remarks about South Africa was too swift, too loud, and too orchestrated. Now, a lot more people are going to be taking an interest in something about which the leftist media would rather Americans knew nothing.

That corner seems to be getting smaller and more uncomfortable – and that paint isn’t drying anytime soon.

America's “Fifth Column”

In 1936 Emilio Mola, a Nationalist general during the 1936-39 Spanish Civil war referred to a fifth column at his disposal when it was clear there were only four columns of troops marching on Madrid.  What did it mean?  These were supporters who would undermine the enemy from within the city.  A population who had loyalties they hid from the group.  Individuals who supported efforts against the group they claimed to be a part of.  We would probably call them terrorists today, but most certainly traitors.

Until Trump was elected, and SCOTUS overturned Chevron with the Loper Bright decision, it became the duty of society to obediently ignore obvious, ignore what they could see going on before them, and provable realities.  Inculcated deep within the collective psyche of America we were expected to accepting every bit of horsepucky which the so-called experts, the media, leftist politicians, consultants, activists, and academicians heaped upon us. 

Now it's our duty and responsibility to stand up against things which are unproven or improvable.   To end support of things that are not true, while having the courage to stand up for those things which are true.

Academia is constant groveling before that “sacred cow”, known as government grant money, which has corrupted the universities, and we now know the media has been funded by the bureaucrats to support their continued tyranny over America. 

 

Think about this.  What if the only grant money available was for the purpose of proving there was no such thing as anthropogenic climate change?  I'll tell you what would happen, there'd be a dramatic shift in gears and the information coming out of these self same universities would change overnight.  On August 4th, 2006 an article appeared in the Wall Street Journal by Shirley S. Wang, reporting on a study that researched the potential of bias in science when it is tied to funding.  The finding? 

 

“Studies show that even small gifts create feelings of obligation, and that those feelings can influence subsequent decisions, so why do many researchers feel they're immune to conflicts of interest?” “Just as we fool ourselves into thinking we're more ethical, kind and generous than we are, so scientists can be blind to the very real possibility that their work is inappropriately influenced by financial ties. These psychological processes usually operate so subtly that people aren't aware that such ties can bias their judgment.”

 

Based on the tone of her article she was attacking the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and her points were well made.  However, what about research that is tied to a regulatory agency such as EPA?  Are these researchers any less affected by this same kind of bias? 

The activists have no problem finding problems to whine about.  That's easy, especially when these problems are usually speculative.  You know the kind I am talking about.  So much of their whining is filled with Weasel-words and Phrases.

This could happen or that could happen or maybe something could possibly cause something, someday, somewhere by someone doing anything or something or maybe no one doing nothing or anything anywhere.   

Wow, get your mind around that!  Whining about speculative problems is one thing, fixing real problems is another.  We must remember that every action triggers the law of unintended consequences.  Some consequences are positive and some are negative.  Sometimes both.  

What happens when the fixes they impose on society leads to unintended negative or even vile consequences?  Usually people die.  Yet they go on their merry way as if this is normal or worse yet, acceptable.  DDT is a case in point.  Tens of millions have died unnecessarily over the last 52 years since the ban on DDT and yet they still fight to maintain this ban.  These are adherents of a neo-pagan secular religion.  "Ecotheologians, demanding 'death' on a crowded planet."

“Fifth Columnists” are heroes when they win.  If they lose, they are traitors, either way they undermine society and civilization while proclaiming to the world they are bringing enlightenment, promising utopia, but consistently delivering dystopia.  

We need to start shedding ourselves of these so-called in the media, academia, scientific advisors, government consultants, and bureaucrats, who don’t know whose side they are on.  Then again, maybe these “Fifth Columnists” really do know what side they’re on, and it's not the side of humanity.

 

Kamala Harris For President, 2028!

The Democrat party is a mess, it's leaderless, and admits they have no plan for the nation other than do everything they can to destroy Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and all conservatives attempting to end all the insane spending, massive corruption, incompetence, and actual criminal behavior going on in government.   They've doubled down on lies, projection, logical fallacies, insults and support for the violence that's been done in the past, and what's being done now, claiming it's Trump and his supporters who want a civil war, and yet all .....and I mean all.... the violence is being perpetrated by those who support the Democrat party and their schemes that's destroying the nation, and they want more of it.

 

 Last week it was reported that AOC the unquestioned leader of her party, embodying all that the Democrat party is, and should be forever.   It's also clear she's going to make a run to be the nominee for her party in 2028, or at the very least try and take little Chuckie Schumer's seat in the Senate now that the party has turned on him.   That's the one absolute consistency in the Democrat party.  Hate.  They hate each other as much as they hate conservatives, and will happily stab their comrades in the back, but I have to admit, that's not and exclusive quality to the Democrat party.  

But we have a new revelation his week.   We're finding a poll that claims Kamala Harris leads the Democrat 2028 presidential field.  Ya just gotta see the humor in that.  So, if that's true, and while I think poll are like horsepucky, they stink, I think this just might be true, so, if it is then it just might be worthwhile to review the history of "Cackling Kamala" while she was running in 2024, and her actions before she ran.

Let's start with the unending meme that "Trump is a tyrant who will destroy democracy forever destroying America".  Well, he didn't do that in his first term, and it was clear that wasn't his intention, so why would we believe that's his intention via his actions now?  As for being tyrants, it seems clear all Democrats are in serious need of a civics lesson.  They worked with intense passion to bring about world peace and economic stability by changing the names of pancake mix, maple syrup, sports teams, and when that didn't work, they doubled down on it.  

The problems she claims she can fix are the problems she and her tyrannical, violent, irrational leftists friends helped to create, like turning San Francisco, Seattle,  and Portland into third world sewers and hell holes.  Finally,  as one person noted:  

My father is a life-long Republican, and I just learned he is now voting Democrat. He never would have done that when he was alive.

Kamala hates the filibuster, an attack on Constitutional order preventing them from jamming legislation down the nation's throat and is all in favor of packing the Supreme Court with the same kind of political hacks like Sotomayor, and these radical District judges that think they're running the government instead of Donald Trump, with the mentality that "judges rule, and President's drool". 

The immigration polices of the Biden/Kamala administration and their supporters  was a clear attempt to destroy America, that offered deals to pedophiles and murders, importing absolute scum into America.  The policies she's supported has wrecked carnage in American cities.  She and Joe Biden are responsible for releasing 13,000+ convicted killers into the U.S.

It caused the panel to have a low-grade nuclear meltdown of sorts.

Fox News reporter Paul Steinhauser recently touted the endorsement of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris by Police Leaders for Community Safety, describing it as a "leading national law enforcement group" on par with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the International Union of Police Associations (IUPA), and the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), all of which have endorsed former President Donald J. Her campaign was straight-up delusional, and her media interviews were a disaster, even when they were working to make her look intelligent, including those interviews where the media edited and altered what was shown to the public to make her seem rational.  Her word salad comments were incomprehensible, spewing out nonsense no one cared about, with Silvio Canto, Jr. saying Kamala was probably the most unqualified candidate in his lifetime, and considering that included the Bush, Obama, and Joe Biden, that's as condemnatory a statement as one could imagine.

Her unaltered media interviews amply demonstrated Kamala Harris has some serious intellectual issues, serious policy issues, and serious integrity issues, which the why NYT obliterated Kamala's MSNBC interview saying:

 So, we're to believe the Democrat party thinks Kamala is the most desirable Democrat candidate to run against Vance in 2028, as opposed to AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Tim Walz,  Gavin Newsom, Buttigieg, and Rahm Emanuel.  Well, given that bench, she might well be.

Ken Starr, the Special Prosecutor in the Clinton case, was vilified and made to look stupid by the media constantly.  Even stalking Starr outside his home and asking him questions when he went outside to throw out the garbage in his bathrobe.  

Starr in effect admitted his naivete saying the optics never occurred to him as he didn't want to be rude, as the reporters were just doing their job.  Now that's naive, true, but that's  how descent people act.  

The media isn't descent, they're not honest, and they're corrupt to the bone.  Why did it take so long for everyone to grasp that?  And Walter Cronkite, "The most trusted man in America",  was just as guilty.  He was a secret globalist, and the Pravda media, aka, the Fourth Estate still is.

Dr. Michael J. Hurd published this article, What Makes a Person “Suggestible” and Why It Matters, saying: 

Far from being something mysterious, the power of suggestion is often a part of everyday life.....Simply put, a person is “suggestible” if he or she accepts and acts on suggestions by others. Suggestions can range from lies to misunderstandings to incorrect perceptions (like the caffeine example). He goes on to say:

Researchers warn against confusing “suggestibility” with “susceptibility.” Susceptibility refers to a physical weakness or predisposition, like being susceptible to colds. Though suggestibility is more mental......The famous saying, “There’s a sucker born every minute” may be true — but only where critical thinking is ignored, discouraged or outlawed.

The Pravda media has knowingly and corruptly spewed out lies of commission, lies of omission, misinformation, and fake news for decades placing a mammoth thumb on America's election scales.   

The bias, from both the mainstream media and the tech/social media is mind-boggling.  The problem isn’t that Democrats openly and habitually lie about Donald Trump on a regular basis.  The problem is that the media uses subliminal messaging to reinforce those lies. They are not fair, neutral arbiters. 

The media are Democrats, by and large. For example, Democrat strategist Aisha Mills recently appeared on Erin Burnett’s show on CNN [whose] insane rant naturally invoked Hitler, but ranged from eugenics (What? Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger are icons within the Democrat party, and she wants to complain about eugenics?) to her personal belief, based on nothing but her own emotion, that Donald Trump considers himself superior to her because of her genetics due to her identity a black lesbian. ...........

Well, I'm betting tree moss is superior to her, and they wonder why they're swirling down the drain.   MSNBC, CNN are disintegrating, and left wing outlets are utterly stupefied as to why!

 The fact is the real reason Trump is so popular is because of the internet. So many alternative news site popped up overnight, like American Thinker, all of which what's called the "Fourth Estate", and is in reality the Pravda media, arrogantly, smugly, and dismissively called the alternative media the "Pajama Media", and that's now morphed into the 'Fifth Estate" because as more and more Americans read what was being said they realized just how badly they'd been lied to by the Pravda Media. 

And Little Georgie isn't alone.   Joy Reid, "We Are Not Having Thanksgiving with You — ‘Make your Own Dinner, MAGA", who never fails to demonstrate what an abysmally disgusting human being she is, even blaming the Muslim terrorist attack in New Orleans on America, is either going to be booted off MSNBC, or take a pay cut.  I would choose the boot, but that's just me.  When you read the idiotic, nasty things she says you have to ask, Why on earth does MSNBC keep Joy Reid?, but then, why does MSNBC continue to exist?  Then there's Rachel Maddow, MSNBC's "star", who will have to now survive on a mere 25 million a year instead of 30 million.  And they wonder why they're going broke? 

Viewers Abandoned CNN, MSNBC After Election.  In the aftermath of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Fox News experienced significant gains in viewership. The network captured 62 percent of the overall cable news audience, marking its highest cable news share to date. On Election Night and during Vice President Kamala Harris's concession, Fox News was the most-watched network. ( More Here, and Here) 

Even the Food Network is doing better than CNN, and Silvio Canto says he understands why, "their chefs and recipes must have more credibility than the news readers" at these networks.

America is now acutely aware of how badly they've been lied to and have walked away from these networks.  Once that happened, they never went back, and those numbers have increased yearly, until now,  Now those numbers are massive, and to the point the Pravda media, both print and television, are going down the sewer, and are on the chopping block to be sold, and soon, probably at fire sale prices, and for two reasons. 

1. Their viewership is far left and they will not tolerate conservative views being shown, so they can't change who and what they are to expand their viewership, and very soon they're going to lose all that lovely, lovely bundling money.
2. Streaming is going to bankrupt cable.  Cable is dying and being taken over by streaming, and when cable dies, all that lovely, lovely, bundling money will dry up, and worse yet, their ratings as bad as they were, nosedived after the election.  They tried streaming with MSNBC+ and it failed almost overnight, so they know with their message they can't generate sufficient income on their own.  They're toast.

MSNBC Continues to Crash and Burn, With No Idea What to Do.  Now, ya just gotta see the humor in all that panic, and the Trump people are going after the media from now on, as ‘The View’ Host Sunny Hostin has to issue another legal statement for lying about Pete Hegseth claiming he mistreated his wife.

Now little Georgie Stephanopoulos, the dwarf who roared, has had to settle with Trump for big bucks, apologize to him, and ABC has to fork over $15 Million directly to Trump, and another million to his lawyers.   And the dwarf who roared is in a rage, and is allegedly ‘Apoplectic’ over Trump Lawsuit Settlement, but what must really hurt is he's had to take a pay cut, who is still grossly overpaid.  

Poor Jim Acosta, a virtual lava flow horsepucky is in a panic over this settlement as he fears getting sued, and if he does, he want's the company to bail him out.  It never occurred to them all their lies would constitute "actual malice" under the New York Times V. Sullivan SCOTUS ruling that I think is a disgraceful decision that has absolutely no basis in the Constitution and unleashed onto America corrupt media liars who worked to destroy the lives of people they disapproved of, and it's time to end this insanity and force the media to live by the same standards as the rest of America has to live by.

Then we have the fall of RINO Never Trumpers like Peggy Noonan, who was lauded a lot in years gone by and even then I had no idea why. I read her stuff, and even at that much younger age, with much less experience in life, and much less knowledge, I wasn't impressed. I always came away with the thought I had no idea what she was trying to say, and neither did she. This piece explains why. She wants it both ways, always needing an out, always needing an excuse for failure, just like all the "it's not my fault" leftists they hobnob with.

She's like so many of these faux conservatives, they like the attention, the parties, the ability to rub shoulders with prominent leftists of the media, presenting themselves as enlightened, but they've never they been warriors. Jonah Goldberg came close and then capitulated. George Will,  Krauthammer, and Bill Kristol, whose father Irving was a communist/socialist at one point and became the "godfather of neoconservatism", which explains a lot about the views of his son, all of whom had the same problem that afflicts so many "intellectuals", a sense of elitist privilege. 

I've seen this type in a thousand places and a thousand faces, but they're all the same, they present a face of arrogance and smugness to hide their inadequacies, and are totally uncomfortable in the presence of the peasantry as they live in a echo chamber of head nodders.  

As has been quoted so often, "There are liars, there are damn liars, and there are statistics",. so when you combine a political persuasion notorious for lies, and can only subsist on lies, a corrupt media that loves those lies, and pollsters who corruptly know they're lies and yet work to make lies those truth, we had a public that was been beguiled for decades.

Then the internet appeared and then, "Shazam" the "Captain Marvel", alternative media appeared, AKA, the pajama media, now the new "Fifth Estate", which the Pravda media smugly and arrogantly smirked at. Well, that's over with, the smirk is gone, the smirking turned into hate mongering, their network programs are swirling down the drain, and now the corporate Pravda, Fourth Estate media, is irrelevant, and it's clear the new administration is going to open things up that will place the "Fourth Estate" in a back row seat, where they've belonged for decades.

 He who laughs last laughs best.  Schadenfreude!

Two more points. 

First, this attack against a corrupt media is going to continue, as "U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared details about her plans for a brand new House subcommittee tasked with cutting wasteful government spending and redundant bureaucracy", saying among the things, they'll be addressing taxpayer money being used to fund NPR or any media outlet for that matter.

Back in June of 2018 Patricia McCarthy published this piece, The Barrs and the Bees: Leftists' rancid indecency saying: 

From the moment Roseanne revived her '90s sitcom as a Trump-supporter, the left was apoplectic..........Roseanne tweeted something crude about Valerie Jarrett, and the mainstream media lost their cookies. She's racist. She has to go. And so Roseanne was fired. Her show did not even air that night. That is how offended the "public" was meant to be. People had to be protected from Roseanne.

But then the previously unheard of Samantha Bee committed an even greater verbal crime. She used a lovely photo of Ivanka Trump and her son to vilify Ivanka on the basis that her father is responsible for the plight of illegal immigrant children streaming into the U.S. A giant leap if there ever was one. But that's how far the left has descended into madness since the 2016 election.......

 

The Samantha Bees, Kathy Griffins, Keith Olbermanns, Bill Mashers, etc. are offensive in every sense of the word, but they keep their jobs...............The entire display was an embarrassment to all Americans. Only the media love this kind of scandal. They live for, thrive on, this kind of verbal debauchery. Our media, most of them, are as indecent as Barr, Bee, Olbermann, Maher, and the rest of them aching for the death of the west....

 

More on this.  On June 3, 2018 Ethel C. Fenig posted this piece, Falling through the liberal looking-glass, noting the "bizarre alternative universe" the left lives in.  Rosanne's show was cancelled, even after she grovelled and apologized, over something she shouldn't have apologized for in the first place, but the word's "proudly vomited" out by Bee got a "Television Academy Honors award for advancing social change", and she was "rewarded with applause" from the audience. 

I posted these two "blasts from the past" because I wanted to demonstrate just how vile they've been and for so long, and what they've gotten away with.  Now, those days are gone.  The Pravda media is despised, vilified, and they're being ignored.  They're toast, and they're scared.  Their smug haughty arrogance is disappearing, but their outrage will never disappear. 

• How dare the public not grovel before them? 
• How dare the public question their unfounded claims?  
• Doesn't the public know they're too stupid to think for themselves?  

It's Whoopie's job to do that for them.  

 

Well, not any longer as both CNN and MSNBC's ratings are cratering.  They're going down the tubes financially.  But Rachel Maddow is willing to do her part to help.  She's taking a five million dollar a year cut in pay.  Now she's going to have to survive on a mere twenty five million dollars a year.... to do a show once a week.  Ya gotta see the humor in that, especially since she may not have a job much longer. 

What boggles my mind is what ever possessed the nitwit leadership at MSNBC to pay her anywhere near that kind of money.   Get real, they're talking heads, but the argument is they get ratings, and ratings generate advertising. Well, maybe they wouldn't have needed so much advertising if networks hadn't been so stupid paying nitwits like Rachel Maddow and Chris Wallace obscene amounts of money.  

But, the worm is turning, and streaming is going to take all that lovely, lovely cable bundling money away.  The consequence of that?   It seems to me both MSNBC and CNN will be sold at fire sale prices,  and if that happens it seems to me Whoopie and company will be gone, and they won't be alone in the unemployment line.   Now's the time for all these wealthy so-called conservatives to stand and deliver.  Buy them up, turn them around, make them successful, and Elon Musk might actually buy MSNBC.   But even if no one buys these networks and fires these vile nitwits, it seems clear they'll be out of a job anyway, because there will be no job.

Greg Gutfeld claims MSNBC now stands for "Must Sell Network Before Christmas".  The executives at these networks are running scared, even forcing a co-host on 'The View' to "read four legal notes" during the episode on Friday.  Something they'd not have done if  Trump hadn't won, nor would they done so in after his 2016 win.  This victory changed all that!  This victory was different!  They're disgusted the public with their intellectual corruption, their vileness, their lies, their smug arrogance, and it "signals the end of the left’s control of the mainstream media [and] advanced the demise of MSNBC and CNN for good reason".  And this includes the print media as WaPo fires the senior politics editor.

CNN has been tanking for years, it's continued existence is in question, and they're facing a major defamation fight with James O'Keefe they're most like to lose as the judge who ordered this case to be continued said:

"If you stay on the bench long enough, you see a lot of things. Still, I never thought I'd see a major news organization downplaying the importance of telling the truth in its broadcasts. But that is what CNN has done in this case."

 

If CNN had issued a retraction, which is what was originally asked of them, this could have been avoided, but they didn't because they deceived themselves into believing they could deliberately lie and get away with it by hiding behind the New York Time v. Sullivan decision, since actual malice is hard to prove, and it's long overdue for Sullivan to be overturned.

CNN has it's troubles, and the nation can smile.   At CNN they're going to chop hundreds, including network stars off the payroll.  

"If half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that means they're not reading any of this media, and we've lost this audience completely. A Trump victory means mainstream media is dead in its current form."..........The report cited Nielsen ratings for CNN, and also MSNBC, that revealed the networks' audiences have vanished. They're down by 40% or more. "Insiders told Puck the new round of firings will likely see on-air talent like them affected, as the network's new CEO looks to free up finances amid waning ratings," ............

In the midst of this Chris Wallace has decided to forego his seven million dollar a year salary in order to podcast.   Chris Wallace is leaving because "at 77, is eager to see what a transformed media environment has to offer, and neither he or his family want him to retire, and he wants more control over what he produces, which will be "unbiased".  Yeah right!  While I'm sure he's more than financially secure, it still comes down to this.  If he couldn't carry the freight at CNN, what makes him think he can carry the freight on his own.

Wallace, who CNN thinks is "one the the most respected political journalists int he news business" was hired at CNN to be their lead guy at CNN+ streaming service which lasted a month.

One of the things I found interesting is all of a sudden we're seeing the worm turning on air.  In times past they made sure everyone was in lock step. No on dared dispute the leftist meme of the moment.  All over the Pravda media they played the bully boy making sure no one dared to defend conservative views, and big tech censored any one who did.  

All the panels were rigged, just like The View with one weak conservative and multiple mouthy leftists who interrupted and talked over the "conservative", constantly spewing out red herring fallacies in order to altering the subject at hand. 

But what happens when a bully has been shown to be a punk?  We're now seeing their own defending those they hate.  And even proclaiming their constant far left drum beat helped elect Trump.  Why?  Because they see the handwriting on the wall, and the bully is almost down and out.

Paraphrasing Daniel Greenfield:  "all this reflects the larger reality that most leftist organizations are interchangeable pieces of the same movement with the exact same politics who use different brands to appeal to different demographics."   For the media this is like an infectious communicable disease, and they're all collapsing together as a result.   Let's hope they continue on down that dark path.

The pink envelopes are on the way as Signs of the Collapse of Corporate Media Influence Are Everywhere:

 

Once the affirmative action of carriage fees through pay TV comes to an end (where you are forced to subscribe to a cable/satellite package that includes channels you never watch and those channels still receive an unearned piece of your monthly payment) CNN and MSNBC will no longer be profitable. They cannot survive on merit (advertising fees based on viewers), but they will always be around because soulless liars like Joy Reid, Jake Tapper, Brian Stelter, Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow, and Dana Bash do and say what their corporate and Deep State masters tell them to do and say.

 

But, their willingness to be the soulless catspaws of leftist insanity may not matter.  Their might not have a network, and they may not have jobs.  Since the election, as of 11/12/24, MSNBC's numbers dropped by half, and CNN's already dismal numbers dropped another 25 percent.  

Let's star with ABC where they're looking to revamp The View, and are looking to hire Pro-Trump voices voice as ratings tumble, but as you read on what they want is "a" pro-Trump voice, who will be outnumbered, interrupted, talked over, and denigrated.   So, good luck with that.

 

Why did it take so long to come to the conclusion Whoopi and company are dumb as dirt?  Whoopie claimed Jill Biden was a great doctor and should have been made Surgeon General, and not one dingle berry on that panel bothered to ask her what was Dr. Jill's medical speciality.  Did any of them know her degree was in education, not medicine?   If they did it shows what contempt they have for facts and truth, and if they didn't, it shows just  how ignorant they are.  

 

Whoopi has brought that same valuable depth of knowledge and intellectual insight into the debate regarding Pete Hegseth's nomination as Secretary of Defense saying he "clearly does not know anything about the military".  And we know Whoopie knows all about the military.  

Remember Whoopi played Guinan on Star Trek Next Generation, so, while she wasn't a Star Fleet officer, she "clearly knows everything about the military" from that experience.  Kinda like Alex Baldwin who acted in Hunt for Red October knew from that experience how to handle fire arms safely.  Star Trek is fiction, and Guinan was a bartender like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Whoopie makes Sheila Jackson Lee look like an intellectual, and makes Nancy (we have to pass the bill to see what's in it) Pelosi look like a wise sage.

Once again, I don't watch "The View." Like many of you, I get my "views" on internet posts that feature the latest from Joy, Ana, Whoopie, and Asuncion aka Sunny. Thirty-second clips are all I can take from this crew. Thanks to all those who post the clips so I don't have to watch it.  Not surprising that ABC is looking for a little more diversity on the show. Diversity like having cast members who represent those 80% of U.S. counties that voted Trump.

 

Unless they're willing to make it half and half, and choose real conservatives who are knowledgeable, and intelligent, and won't back down or be intimidated,  forget it.  Better they just go down the tubes, that's what competition is all about, and make no mistake, if they had a 50/50 make up with actual conservatives,  their entire viewing audience, which are as brainless as the current hosts, find anything that disputes the tenets of leftist religion unbearable that could unleash a volley of pure hate and rage, like the lesbian who was married to a trans woman, and murdered her father over the election declaring she felt "liberated".  That's the quality of their audience.

 

When you bring in vile ignorant people as hosts, you should expect to find the same kind of vile ignorant people watching the show, and while it's changing,  based on past rating numbers, America has a ton of vile and ignorant people who somehow think these five nitwits are smart and knowledgeable. 

 

Whoopi says she's all in on anti-Trump sex strikes telling men "they’re not going to “get any” if they speak out of line", and if they look anything like Whoopi, and from the pictures I've seen of them, including shaving their heads, I don't think that will be a problem.  

 

Truth be told, I think there's something seriously wrong with her.  She recently claimed a bakery refused to serve her because of her politics.  But the owners of the shop weren't having it and struck back, and now that story is backfiring with a cry for the network to fire her, business at the bakery has exploded as a result of all this.

 

Now that network executives are looking to dump their troublesome high priced help, this presents a good opportunity for Whoopie to be sent home, alone.
