Points to Ponder

By Rich Kozlovich

How did Hamas get control of Gaza?  In 2005, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who was Israel's Prime Minister then, embraced leftist dogma about getting along with Muslims, which has failed over and over again, but he thought it would be a great idea to just give Gaza over to the Muslims and even provide necessary services for them they could not and would not provide for themselves, that way Muslims wouldn't hate Israel, and the world praised him.

It's clear the man either never read a history book or didn't believe history mattered.  Well, it does.  Hamas was an Islamic genocidal movement, it has always been such, and the people of Gaza like their genocidal insanity as they demonstrated by dancing through the streets as the coffins of innocent children who were hostages of Hamas were paraded before them.

Giving Muslims Gaza and the West Bank was in effect a practical application of the Two State solution. It was stupid then, it’s stupid now, and will always be stupid. Israel should take the example of Jordan and other Arab states who kick all the “Palestinians’ out, and tell the UN, the EU nitwits, American leftists, Jewish leftists, in and out of Israel, and the rest of the world to shove it.

After the Reconquista of Spain the first ones they kicked out were the Jews. Sephardic Jews who were well assimilated, but they thought the Muslims would adjust and all would be just fine and dandy. They were wrong, and had to kick all the Muslims out of Spain. They were Muslims and Muslims will always be Muslims, and assimilation isn’t an Islamic concept, domination however is.

Now Spain seems to have forgotten their history and are allowing Muslims to pour in, almost uncontrolled, and guess what, they’re acting like …. Muslims …… as Muslims have acted for almost 1500 years.

As for these EU nitwits, Does the European Union actually think radical Muslims will reform themselves?  Which means rejecting the foundational philosophy if Islam, jihad.  It they do that, they're not Muslims, they're heretics, and the Koran demands death to heretics.  If the EU wishes to commit suicide, well, I really don’t care since Europe is a spent force, and the EU is doomed anyway, but they need to stop demanding Israel commit suicide.

Definition leads to clarity, and it boggles my mind how people play with words to alter reality. I've read recently how Trump's cabinet needs to stand up to Trump, as it's an advisory board to the President.  Let's try and get this right once... just once.. please.  While cabinet member may make suggestions and give advice, their job as cabinet members isn’t to be an advisory board, it’s a management team whose job is to salute, say yes sir, and carry out the instructions of the President of the United States. If they can’t live with that, then they need to find other employment.

I keep reading about this new Golden Age that's coming as a result of tariffs and trade agreements, all of which I think are necessary, and beneficial to America, but there will be no golden age. I've read three books on historical cycles, all hard drudging, since they all have their own terminologies and time frames.  If there ever was a subject that needs a formalized academic disciple, that's it.

But the one thing all the books dealing with historical cycles agree on is we’re in an end cycle, which entails huge economic downturns, and violence. Unlike many of the world’s nations America will survive intact for six reasons. We can feed ourselves, fuel ourselves, arm ourselves, defend ourselves, create our own internal market, and pay off our national debt.

The rest of the world cannot meet all of those six basic necessities to remain stable.  They're taxing, spending, over regulation, national debt, and immigration will kill Europe.  As this end cycle progresses there will be a lot of restructuring before the beginning of a new historical cycle, but Europe as we know it will no longer exist, and who knows what direction that will take.

The world's leaders are divided into two groups. The Winston Churchill’s, and the Neville Chamberlain’s. Everyone loves the Chamberlain’s, they go along to get along guys, and everyone hates the Churchill’s, who just can’t seem to get along. At least until the go along to get along crowd’s failure to deal with what’s going wrong hits the fan.

Then, all of a sudden, they discover they need a Winston Churchill to be the answer, and they hate it, and they hate him.   And no matter how successful a Churchill may be, they just can’t stop shooting arrows at the Churchill’s, which in America's case right now involves Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

Why?

Neither Trump or Musk is one of them, and the only thing they excel at is criticism, not problem solving. Adam Schiff epitomizes that quality. Go along to get along elitism is a human physiological disorder that’s plagued humanity throughout history, and it’s always going to be with us. Most leaders aren’t leaders, they’re managers who organize the direction everyone wants to go, no matter how foolish that may be.

A leader stands up and says…. You’re all wrong, and I’m gonna tell you why! And if or when that person gets a leadership role, they act accordingly. If they’re successful, they’re hated all the more. No matter what you may read, that explains everything. How insane is that?

Islam is Destroying Western Culture: Europe

Robin M. Itzler

If you wish to experience Europe with all its unique nations, hurry because the entire continent is rapidly changing due to (legal and illegal) unchecked Islamic immigration, demographic shifts, and political pandering. Even with no future immigration, Muslims in Europe will increase their population. They are giving birth at a much higher rate than non-Muslims: 2.6 children compared to 1.6 children. It doesn’t take a mathematician to see where this goes. In 2006, Muammar Gaddafi said:

“We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest—will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.” Most European leadership is blind to what is happening—or doesn’t care.

If you visit Europe, know where you are walking. The Migration Research Institute in Budapest, which is affiliated with the renowned Matthias Corvinus College, estimated in 2024 that there are 900 NO-GO ZONES across Europe. This is the result of Europe’s open-border policies that brought in an influx of Muslims who do not wish to assimilate into their adopted homeland. Instead, they want their adopted home- land to become an Islamic “Sharia paradise.”

German playwright Botho Strauss wasn’t afraid to say what many have been thinking:

“In the course of the demographic change due to the majority of Muslim population in the metropolises expected in the near future, other priorities could emerge with respect to tolerance and diversity. How ridiculous and senseless then it is to continue with the tired and saccharine tones of ‘tolerance’ towards a class of people who in our cities are rising to the majority.”

Throughout Europe, if you say anything about what is happening to your country or continent due to the influx of legal or illegal radicalized Muslim immigrants, you’re quickly called Islamophobic—and possibly arrested. For example, Member of Parliament Paul Scully was verbally attacked in February for appearing on BBC Radio London, where he responded to another MP by saying:

“There are areas where there are a tiny minority of people who make people uncomfortable about not being of their religion, of their culture, who are misinterpreting their own doctrine. That’s not to say Tower Hamlets itself is a no-go area.”

Scully was quickly criticized for even implying that London has any no-go areas. The BBC quoted a source close to London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan:

“Unfortunately, Paul Scully is resorting to a notorious Islamophobic trope - with the highly offensive and untrue claim that there are ‘no-go’ areas for non-Muslims in parts of London.”

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls anti- immigrant “far right” as if it’s a bad thing to want to protect your homeland from an Islamic invasion. Just ask the people in Wethersfield, England who will only whisper the truth about what asylum seekers are doing to their once quaint village.

Observations From the Back Row, With News and Views For March 28, 2025

By Rich Kozlovich Tags:

I've been reading how Disney's Snow White is such a Woke disaster, it will lose tens of million s of dollars, and this has been the pattern at Disney for a long time.  I ended my TV subscription a long time ago, and they destroyed the Star Wars franchise, again losing millions, and raised prices at their amusement parks to make up for that, and are now losing visitors.

What boggles the mind is their continued crusade to push all this Woke stuff in spite of failure after failure, and now, it's my opinion, we’re going to see the public become much more open about why they hate all this stuff. Calling them by whatever negative epithet is of the moment is going to bounce off people because the alternative media has exposed the consequences of “Wokeness” and people are fast coming to the conclusion they just don’t care what these leftists think, what they do, or what they say.

Culture is king, and we have to wonder if we're now seeing a cultural shift.  It's being claimed the Gen Z generation is one of the most conservative generations because they've suffered the consequences of Woke, and don't like it.  But I have reservations about all these young college educated people.

When doing man on the street interviews, and in the last one I saw was students on the beach, and they're asked fundamental questions about history and government, they're stunningly ignorant.  They don't know who fought in the Revolutionary War, they don't know who the Vice President is, they don't know how many jurists sit on the Supreme court, and the list goes on and on..... embarrassingly on and on... and these are college students.  That should concern everyone.

With Trump and Putin talking about some sort of solution to Ukraine, and future economic issues, guess who's the most concerned?  China!

I used to shake my head and roll my eyes at all the rhetoric about how China and Russia were now big buddies, but they have history, and that history hasn't been pleasant, correspondingly they never trusted each other before and they don't now.  I used to wonder if these journalists ever read a history book, but this kind of clabber was coming from geopolitical specialists also, demonstrating preconceptualism is a mental disorder, a disorder Henry Kissinger suffered from.

When the dust settles the Russians are gong to be in need of a major fix to their economy, and that can't come from China, but S. Korea and Japan deals may be on the table, which also would concern China since Japan has stated a desire to take on more defensive responsibilities in the region, with U.S. approval.

But real economic benefits will have to come from America, and that whole potential scares Xi.  But make no mistake, Russia needs this war to end or their economic situation will become so bad they won't be able to catch up to either China or the U.S.  Putin has put forward a plan for Ukraine to put under UN management, with some interesting initiatives, and that won't happen either, but it shows his desperation, and the geopolitical world sees it for what it is.

The other mostly unspoken truth about Russia is it's demographic pyramid, it's a mess.  Ten years go it was estimated by 2040 ethnic Russians will be a minority in their own nation, and statistically there are less men than women, and with the massive loses in this war it's even worse.  Russian history is replete with wars, starvation, and gulags, and serious cultural problems involving alcoholism, AIDS, and mental illness.  The foundational cultural paradigm in Russia is suffering, and how to overcome it.  That history will never go away, the rest is potentially fixable.

One of the things that's emerged economically out of the Russo/Ukrainian War is how nations found alternative sources for their needs.  Once that happens, no one is willing to go back to "the olden days", as now these nations have a greater degree of autonomy, and they like it.

Ukraine is insisting European nations contribute boots on the ground to fight Russia, and on the front line.  That's not playing well as they've only offered peace keeping forces after the war is over, which is the usual double talk and virtual signaling by Europe's "leaders".

News and Views For March 28, 2025

Democrats

‘The New York Times Created Castro’ - During an interview with Kengor on Wednesday’s edition of The Alex Marlow Show podcast, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow highlighted Kengor’s PragerU video on Cuba’s communist dictator Fidel Castro..........“A couple of things jumped out at me in your PragerU video on Castro,” Marlow said. “The New York Times created Castro, I had never thought of it that way.”.........

Editor's Note:  For those interested, please view by Humberto Fontova file, where he outlines all of this and much, much more, including JFK's corruption in preserving Castro, the embrace of media stars and Hollywood celebrities.  All this has been known for years, and suppressed for years by the Pravda media, academia, and the Democrat party.  RK

Quote of the day - The quote of the day comes via EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin Congratulations to Mr. Zeldin on the quote of the day: “I have terminated the $2 BILLION Biden EPA grant to this Stacey Abrams-linked NGO. The DOJ/FBI are investigating and the money has been frozen. It is insane that the Biden Admin would give $2B to an organization that previously only received $100!”...........

Alex Marlow with PragerU’s Dr. Paul Kengor: Democrats ‘Gave Us Pol Pot’ - During an interview with Kengor on Wednesday’s edition of The Alex Marlow Show podcast, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow highlighted Kengor’s PragerU video on Pol Pot, which Marlow said confirmed his understanding that “the Democrats basically gave us Pol Pot.”....“Democrat policies led to his rise and thus widespread death,” ......

Well, That's How You Know the Dems Knew Biden Was in Rough Shape -  It’s now an open secret: everyone knew that Joe Biden was cooked—even Democrats. We’ve seen Joe’s deterioration in real-time, whereas the liberal media and the president’s allies manufactured this lie that the former president’s mental and physical health was top-notch. That Potemkin village collapsed when Donald Trump bulldozed Biden in the June debate on CNN. Worse, Trump didn’t have to do much; Biden was slow, slurred, and stupid......... Once booted off the 2024 ticket, Joe and his cronies made sure they could do everything they could to hamstring Kamala Harris.............What a selfish clown. Did he wreck things for Kamala? No. She wasn’t an upgrade. Harris was younger but just as stupid and incapable of doing media hits without coming off as totally insane........

Major DEI Non-Profit Files For Bankruptcy After Bosses Allegedly Stole Millions in

Donor Funds - A major DEI non-profit has filed for bankruptcy after its bosses allegedly stole millions in donor funds. The National Diversity Council (NDC)l filed for bankruptcy earlier this month after its board members filed a lawsuit accusing founder R. Dennis Kennedy and other top employees of siphoning off millions in funds for their own benefit. The lawsuit states:.........

House Handily Defeats Anti-Israel Amendments From Rashida Tlaib- Thursday was a bad day for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a particularly anti-Israel member of the Squad. The House passed the DETERRENT Act, also known as the Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions Act, which was introduced by Rep. Michael Baumgartner (R-WA). It did so without Tlaib without in favor, though, and without either of her two amendments included in the bill. ..............

Karen Bass' Destroyed Text Messages Have Miraculously Reappeared - Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is still reeling from the massive wildfires that engulfed the county in January. It’s likely going to be labeled the costliest natural disaster in American history, with damage estimates ranging from $164-250-plus billion. Ms. Bass was not in Los Angeles when the fires broke out on January 7. She wasn’t even in the United States. The mayor was partying in Ghana, celebrating the president’s inauguration, which hardly seems appropriate, especially since this trip was taxpayer-funded. Bass promised she’d never leave the country during her time in the mayor’s office............

NPR CEO's Testimony on Capitol Hill Yesterday Was a Disaster -This might be one of my favorite Congressional hearing exchanges of all time -- or at least within recent memory.  It features Republican Congressman Brandon Gill, a freshman from Texas, and the CEO of National Public Radio, Katherine Maher.  We'll get there, but before we proceed any further, please recall that this is the same Katherine Maher whose long virtual trail of woke, partisan, knee-jerk social media posts caused a stir after she was tapped to take the helm of taxpayer-funded NPR last year.  This clip has also made the rounds, in which she laments our society's "reverence for the truth" as a "distraction" and obstacle to making progress and "getting important things done."  In the hearing yesterday, she tried to claim these comments have been taken out of context, but her point seems fairly straightforward here, and it's certainly interesting coming from someone who leads a newsroom:...........

Fired Biden Holdover Hampton Dellinger Takes Another Loss with Appeals Court’s Latest Order - A federal appeals court on Thursday responded to fired special counsel Hampton Dellinger’s request to dismiss his case as moot after he withdrew his litigation earlier this month.President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, the Special Counsel for the Office of Special Counsel last month, however, the Biden holdover continued to fight Trump in court and was successful because the case was assigned to a corrupt Obama judge.  The appeals court previously granted a motion to stay Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s order reinstating the Biden holdover.  Following the ruling from the DC Circuit Court, Hampton Dellinger said he was ending his legal fight with Trump............

DOGE

DOGE Says 315,000 Credit Cards Have Been Canceled, Limited by Federal Agencies - The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said about 315,000 government credit cards have been canceled or limited by various federal agencies under a cost-savings program.  The Elon Musk-affiliated group wrote in a post on Tuesday that “up to [approximately] 315,000 credit cards” were canceled by a number of federal agencies, an increase from about 298,000 cancelations as of Sunday. DOGE said this was after a five-week “pilot program” was undertaken.  Credit card cancelations this week impacted agencies including the Departments of Homeland Security, Interior, Commerce, Treasury, State, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Education, Agriculture, and Labor.........

Fort Knox? Gold cams! - Let’s face it—we’ve all got the gold bug. When President Trump announced recently that he would conduct an audit of the Fort Knox gold reserve, it was all anyone could talk about.  A friend asked if I thought the gold was still there. I would like to think so. I would like to think military discipline didn’t completely erode under the Obama and Biden administrations. However, time, technology, and the cleverness of rats mitigate against it.  A gold bar weighs 27.5 pounds. How easy would it be to counterfeit a bar, skim-coat it with some gold, and then swap it out for the real thing on the shelf? That’s what some folks imagine has happened. Others think that the physical gold has been lent out, sold, and replaced with worthless currency or just 1s and 0s in some government account......

Europe

New report: Netherlands is now euthanizing minors -Medical murder comes for the disabled children. Again. I mean, we’ve been here before, but for some reason, a sizable enough portion of the population refuses to heed the words commonly attributed to Spanish thinker, George Santayana: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” and so we traditionalists, “clinging to” (as Barack Obama might derogatorily say) life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, are left to scream into the void about how today it’s the retarded kids, tomorrow it’s us.

My Take -  Leftism believes in nothing except hate, greed, envy, lust, and the desire to hold power over their fellow man, and more than willing to use violence to tear down anything that stands in it’s way.   All that Hitler stood for and promoted is being embraced in Europe.  As a result, the flawed values of leftism has contaminated the thinking of Europe, and every aspect of European life. Europe is lost, and will really be what Bismarck called it, a geographical designation. And unless something dramatically changes, it will be conquered by Islam.  RK

The UK’s Immigration Nightmare If Keir Starmer continues to sink in the polls, and if the Conservatives return to power, Robert Jenrick will then become the Minister of State for Justice. Whatever happens, his voice and views on the suicidal immigration policy now in place in the UK must be heard and heeded. You can find out more about […]

UK: Illegal English Channel crossings soar to ‘record high’ despite repeated government promises to stop them - The UK government issued a statement in response to the boat crossings: We all want to end dangerous small boat crossings, which threaten lives and undermine our border security.  The people-smuggling gangs do not care if the vulnerable people they exploit live or die, as long as they pay. We will stop at nothing to […]

UK Employee Fired for Calling Hamas Killers ‘Disgusting’ Robert likes to call the UK “shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain.” I’ve always thought that an exaggeration, but the evidence keeps piling up that he is right. The latest horror story is about an employee of the Severn Trent Water Supply, Damon Joshua, a sewage worker who, on October 7, 2024, as part of a social […]

The EU’s New High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas’ Old Mistakes Things are looking up for Israel at the EU. The anti-Israel Josep Borrell is now gone. He has just now been replaced as the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy by Kaja Kallas, the former president of Estonia known for her warm attitude toward Israel. However, despite her personal warmth, Ms. Kallas […]

Israel, the EU, and the Perils of a ‘Proportionate Response’ - The new EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, is repeating some of the errors and falsehoods of her predecessor, Josep Borrell: “New EU High Representative Kaja Kallas makes the same old mistakes,” Elder of Ziyon, March 25, 2025: True to form, Josep Borrell criticized and condemned Israel’s escalation in Lebanon […]

Visas for Terrorists, No Visas for Israelis - Opposing the deportation of campus terrorists isn’t about free speech. It’s about supporting terrorists. After the Trump administration moved to deport foreign campus terrorist supporters, including Momodou Taal, who had urged student protesters to take their cue from Hamas and tweeted “absolutely anyone the US calls an enemy is my friend”, there was outrage from the Left. […]

Chicago: Muslim cop vandalizes rabbi’s car, is not fired from the force or even disciplined If a Jewish cop had vandalized a Muslim cleric’s car, do you think the police would have been slow to fire him? Also, we would be inundated with propaganda about “Islamophobia.” But this gets little notice. EXCLUSIVE: Chicago Police Officer Mohammed Khan was caught kicking an elderly rabbi’s car.

India: Muslim gang kidnaps and tortures Hindu man for talking to a Muslim woman The Qur’an forbids Muslim women to marry “idolaters”: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even […]

Iran: Senior ayatollah tells US that Iranian people ‘will wipe you off the face of history and politics’ Meanwhile, in the U.S., prominent “influencers” tell us that Iran, which is working on developing nuclear weapons, is no threat to the U.S., and that only “the Jews” are insisting otherwise in order to advance the cause of a “Greater Israel” in the Middle East. The only people who could believe this are those who

Hamas funded Columbia protesters, bragged to hostages about their ‘American operatives’ It was obvious from the beginning that the student protesters were tools of Hamas. Now it turns out that they were actually an arm of Hamas. This supports, of course, the idea that those among them who are not U.S. citizens should be deported. “Columbia activists worked with Hamas, captors told rescued hostage Shlomi Ziv,” […]

Mahmoud Khalil Hid His Work with UNRWA Mahmoud Khalil turns out to have been far more than the innocent student protester — not a leader, but just one among so many — whom he pretends to be. More on the latest news about Mahmoud Khalil can be found here: “US says Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil hid UNRWA work,” Reuters, March 24, 2025: The […]

Middle East

Iran and Turkey call on global community to ‘stop Israel’s crimes in region’ - Days ago, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, issued calls for protesters in the US and Europe to stop the Israeli military in Gaza. Turkey has joined Iran in accusing Israel of “crimes” in the region against the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria. These are specific areas where Hamas, Hizballah, and the Houthis have all […]

The IDF’s Latest Blow Against the Jihadists in Gaza The British journalist Brendan O’Neill reports on the IDF’s recent renewal of fighting in Gaza, where it has devastated what remained of Hamas’ leadership, and on how the Western media, instead of celebrating, has been denouncing Israel for this achievement. More on O’Neill’s furious reaction to that media coverage can be found here: “Why don’t […]

Hamas Won't Like What the Justice Department Just Did  - The Justice Department on Thursday announced that it has disrupted a scheme to finance terrorist group Hamas. The DOJ seized a little over $200,000 in cryptocurrency that was supposed to go toward funding Hamas,............U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. explained that the seizures “show that this office will search high and low for every cent of money going to fund Hamas” and said the terrorist group “is responsible for the deaths of many U.S. and Israeli nationals.”..........

Rockets to Roses: Israel’s bizarre trade cycle with Aza - In a striking twist of economic irony, “Israel” proper finds itself caught in a peculiar recycling cycle-of-trade with Aza (“Gaza” is the Arab name, but Aza is part of the Land of Israel).  Israel offers (and allows in) steel, food, gas, and free electricity to the Jew-haters in the client state of Aza, which in turn uses these resources to manufacture rockets.  Those rockets are then fired back at Israeli residents, where their fragments (if safe) are repurposed into… Judaica. Yes, really......Excuse me, I need to go duck.  Another economic boom incoming!......

Signalgate

A Reporter Asked AG Bondi About the Signal Story During an MS-13 Presser. He Didn't Expect This Answer. - Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel oversaw a successful law enforcement raid that captured one of the nation’s top leaders of the gang MS-13. This person, 24 years old, had been in the gang for ten years and quickly sharked his way to the top. Based on the documents recovered upon his arrest, he was one of the prominent leaders of this criminal operation. This individual was arrested by federal agents yesterday.........

What Are Dems Trying to Say Regarding the NSA's Secret Sex Chat Fiasco and This Signal Story?- This Signal story involving Pete Hegseth, Michael Waltz, and other top Trump officials has Democrats licking their chops over nothing. This story isn’t going anywhere, and no one is getting fired. So, scream into the void; we’re moving on. It was an unforced error as Waltz, or someone on his staff, accidentally added The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg into this chat on the encrypted messenger app. Goldberg alleges secret anti-Houthi war plans were divulged. They were not, but the media is going to peddle a lie because the chats were real—their contents are the subject of exaggeration....

The Liberal Media Is SIGNALing a lot of Bullcrap Right Now- Only liberal America could be more upset over an encrypted messenger app slip-up than a shambolic exit from Afghanistan that got Americans killed. Democrats think they smell blood in the water, as the media-manufactured fallout from the leaked Signal chat story continues to make the Left all giddy over nothing. .........

The Passing Signal Psychodrama - How does this blunder rank with prior diplomatic and military screw-ups?  When we finally learn the full melodrama of the so-called Signal 1-2 day “scandal” of inviting a leftwing, Trump-despising, Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg onto a supposedly secure conference list, involving most of the top Trump security officials, lots of questions need asking and answering.  Most importantly, who exactly had Goldberg’s private number, and ostensibly (in error [?]) could have possibly inserted it into the cleared list of participants in the discussions? Why Goldberg, rather than some random person of some 345 million Americans?...........

My Take - The above article was written by Victor Davis Hanson, and as usual he has great insights, and ..... great questions.... questions I've asked, and would love to see answers to them, especially on how this "journalist" got on that list in the first place.  It's been claimed this was a "mistake" by a staffer, and I have no doubt a staffer is responsible, but I questioned whether this was a "mistake" from the beginning.  One thing was clear to me from the beginning, and this was a nothing burger from a corrupt media, and Democrats with the integrity of scorpions.     RK
Voter Rights

Supreme Court Grapples With Louisiana Voting Rights Act Case - The Supreme Court on March 24 grappled with a much-litigated racial gerrymandering case from Louisiana involving two consolidated cases: Louisiana v. Observations From the Back Row With News and Views for 3/25/25

By Rich Kozlovich

Why do we think that way we do?  Machiavelli noted there are only two groups of people in the world. The privileged and the common people. The privileged only want to maintain their privileges, or expand them, and the common people only want security. They want to be able to house, feed, and clothe their families in safety.  That is what molds everyone’s thinking, except for the misfits who hate both, and want to destroy both.

The issue isn’t why people think what they think, it’s how many think what they think in each category, and very often that’s a result of where we are in the stream of historical cycles.  I've read three books on historical cycles and they all agree we're in an end cycle, which epitomized instability, economic downturns, and violence.

Turkish President Erdogan apparently believed the guy running against him had a good chance of winning, and that was just unacceptable, so he had his opponent arrested on trumped up charges.  I’ve been following Erdogan's antics for some years. First, Turkish Islam has always been a bit different than traditional Islam, and it’s been far more secular, so pushing all this Islamic radicalism on Turkey and his tyrannical failures may have been part of the bridge too far construction against him.   As a result, this action filled the streets thousands and thousands of demonstrators who are outraged at this act.  Will there be a new president as a result?

The last time I remember a nation having this many people running wild in the streets over politics was Romania in 1989. That resulted in Nicolae Ceausescu being overthrown and very unceremoniously shot later on along with his wife.  Erdogan is afraid, make no mistake about that, and he has reason to be.

If there is a new President, I’m of the opinion a new President would moderate a lot of Turkey’s policies that were promulgated by Erdogan, who created a lot of instability involving energy, trade, foreign policy, domestic stability, and economics, and that’s a big one, because Turkey’s economy is in trouble and is in very real need of stability, which I've stated for some years, and in opposition to all the "experts" who kept claiming Turkey was doing great and would be a big force in the Middle East.  Experts entirely too often are expert at ignoring the basics, and embracing preconceptualism, which means ignoring the things known because they're inconvenient, and making up the things not known, just like Henry Kissinger. More Here, and Here

If there is a new president, and he has any sense of geopolitics, he’ll want to find common ground with Trump. There will always be tension between Russia and Turkey, so looking North isn’t their answer, and they have issues with Iran.  I also think we would see a move for Turkey to have a much more harmonious relations with Israel, especially involving trade. Stability  Israel is no threat to Turkey, versus the radicals being supported by Iran.   This will be interesting to watch.

Recently there was an article discussing how one of the first things Trump did was to restore Winston Churchill's bust to its rightful place in the oval office, which Obama had removed, which generated some conversation about his years in the “wilderness” after his failures during WWI, and it played havoc with his ego.  At one point it’s been claimed he considered suicide, although I’ve wondered how true that is, especially since during those years he set up an unofficial intelligence and spy network, all volunteers, of some of the smartest and well connected people in Europe. People who saw the dangers developing with Hitler and Mussolini.

Those people created what became the foundation for the official intelligence services when the war started and was headed up by, “Intrepid”, William Stephenson. I recommend reading the book, A Man Called Intrepid.

Those who read a lot of history are aware he did things that would have been considered despicable now, and would have ended his career today. The legend of Churchill is much bigger than Churchill, but that’s true of every hero in history. Churchill was a 19th century man of empire, and all his views and actions were predicated on that.

But one thing is clear. I never read about anyone in England that could have taken his place when doom was upon them. There may not be one now, and make no mistake, doom is upon them, and the same is true of Germany.  Unless there’s a major political upheaval, Germany is doomed also.

I keep seeing conservative writers coaching the Democrats about what they're doing wrong, and what they need to change.  And I have to wonder why?

Actually, it really doesn’t matter what sane advice they’re given as long as they have great minds, like Mad Maxine, who claims what Trump really wants is civil war, in spite of the fact it's the left that just about has a monopoly on political violence.  And that great democrat seer, America’s very own Smeagol, James Carville, who insists Trump has put the very existence of America in jeopardy, and believes the Trump administration was going "collapse" within 30 days".

And as for those who allegedly have been educated in this arena, I have serious doubts about them also. Take AOC for an example. She graduated cum laude from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in international relations and economics. And while I may be overstating this, I think she’s dumb as dirt, nothing personal mind you.

They, along with a host of leftist celebrities and nitwits in general, just can’t keep from saying stupid things. They really are gifts that keeps on giving. They will follow the example of their moral leader, Dan Rather, and deny, deny, deny, and go down the drain together.  Or, they could change and embrace truth, but that would be a stab in their hearts because they would have become conservatives, admitting all they believed in and promoted is evil.

They’ll choose denial and go down the drain.

I keep hearing how Donald Trump is a dictator whose goal is to destroy American democracy forever. If that’s true, why didn’t he do it during his first term?  If the Democrats were going to help America, why didn’t she do it during the 12 years of Obama and Biden?  As for being tyranny, it seems clear none of those on the left took a civic class in high school.

Leftism is the term that encompasses communism, fascism, progressivism, environmentalism, liberalism, and a host of other "isms", but they're all scions of socialism going back to the foundation of socialism, the French Revolution.  As for groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and the Occupy Wall Street, all violent misfits, they're the American left's modern version of the Nazi "Brown Shirt" thugs.  Different names, same purpose!  But the underlying social philosophy is socialism. If calling them communists pleases you, I'm fine with that.

As one write noted, the Democrat party views the Bill or Rights as the Bill of Permissions, and has worked for decades to create centralized power bases, that are not to be questioned, dealing with every aspect of human life, including the economy. They want to tax more, spend more, borrow more, regulate more, end the use of economically sound and effective energy sources such as coal, oil, natural gas, while imposing totally ineffective. and expensive, alternative energy programs on America.

By dictate they wish to force everyone to buy electric vehicles that are a disaster,  under the pretext of saving the world from global warming, the greatest scientific fraud ever perpetrated on humanity.  All in order to justify making everyone live in centralized communities they're calling "walkable communities", which will be small and condensed, making them easier to control.   Taking away the people's right to choose is what dictators do!

Trump wants to decentralize power transferring it to local governments which the people can more easily control.  He wants less taxes, less spending, less regulations, and less government interference in people's lives by unelected tyrannical bureaucrats to choose how to live their lives, spend their money, and live where and how they please.   That's not what a dictator does!

"The Democrats are rudderless, divided, and leaderless. The positions that form the core of their agenda are beyond unpopular. All they have is theater, and it’s veering into acts of domestic terrorism." - Matt Vespa

Africa
  • Black terrorists talk ‘seizing the means of production’ in South Africa - As the South African government ramps up the persecution of and aggression against white Afrikaners, having passed a new “land reform” law (legalized land seizures without compensation) in January of this year, a clip from a six-year-old Lauren Southern documentary is going viral, reminding the West (and everyone else) that not only is the anti-Boer agenda in South Africa very evil, but very Marxian as well..........
  • Dismantling USAID Services in Africa - The potential dismantling of USAID (United States Agency for International Development) services in Africa presents both opportunities and challenges. While some view this as a loss of critical support, others see it as an opportunity for African nations to assert greater control over their own development. The true impact of this decision will hinge on how African countries navigate the shift, leveraging the advantages of independence while managing the risks that come with it......
My Take - Let's not be delusional, all this foreign aid going to these petty dictatorships is going into the corrupt pockets of their leaders.  It's always been that way, and everyone knew it was that way.  So why continue?  American's aren't benefiting from this scam at all!  But I'm betting some large multinational corporations are at the expense of American taxpayers.     RK
Canada
  • Go, Canada! Breaking Up Is Not Hard to Do - Canada is finally waking up to a bitterly cold, hard truth: its freeloading days are numbered. The maple syrup cartel isn’t keeping the economy afloat, and the national security situation is downright embarrassing. Justin Trudeau is about to hit the unemployment line, presumably with a fresh bottle of Just for Men, jeggings, and a box of tissues. With Donald Trump back in the White House and looking to balance the ledger on trade, tariffs, and defense spending, Canada is realizing that the gravy train may be reaching its final stop miles short of Tim Horton’s..........

  • Waiting for an investigation of COVID-19 crimes  -  Recently, even the left-stream media has acknowledged the lab leak origin of SARS-COV-2, which it called a conspiracy theory five years ago. It is time to take another look at crimes that the Democrat party and its accomplices perpetrated on the American people at the time of the pandemic, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans by denial of treatment.........

Democrats
  • Democrats and their digging- Our friend Ruy Teixeira is back with another message for Democrats.  My guess is that they won’t like it.  It ain’t pretty, to say the least.  Teixeira is telling Democrats that Trump may be underwater in some polls, but they are more like 20,000 leagues under the sea (to remember Captain Nemo).  Here are the 4 points driving the party down:.........
  • Jasmine Crockett Confesses: 'I Don't Care About Legislation, Just Want to Take Down Trump'  - In a shocking admission, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) revealed her true priorities, stating that she has little interest in passing legislation and is focused solely on taking down President Donald Trump. Her blatant disregard for productive governance highlights the growing trend among some Democrats, prioritizing partisan attacks over meaningful policy work that could actually benefit the American people. It's a clear indication that, for some, political vendettas are more important than delivering results for their constituents.
  • Jasmine Crockett: I Have Never Promoted Violence Against Elon Musk -During a Sunday appearance on MSNBC, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) denied playing any role in promoting the violence waged against Elon Musk’s brand, Tesla. The Texas Democrat acknowledged participating in the so-called “Tesla takedown,” which she maintained was a “large protest.”..........
  • Dems 2025: Stalingrad II or Keystone Kops? - I am wondering about the ongoing District Judge Blitzkrieg and the Tesla Blitzkrieg and the Bernie-AOC “Fight Oligarchy” Blitzkrieg Tour. Could this be the Democrat equivalent of the Battle of Stalingrad? If so, the question is: which Democrat astroturf outfit is going to play the role of the German 6th Army?........
  •  The Democrat Party’s Identity Crisis is Far Worse Than Most of the Media Is Reporting - Ever since the 2024 election, the Democrats have been embroiled in a crisis. They have no message, no leader, and no strategy. As we have seen in recent weeks, all they have to offer the American people at the moment is rage and protests. Some people in media have acknowledged that the Democrats have a problem, but it’s far worse than anyone is admitting. Axios is a liberal media outlet, but they have published a piece that highlights how bad things are.  Here are some highlights:............

 DOGE
  • Low-hanging fruit is not enough - No one was more pleased than I over Trump’s executive orders to cut government costs, remove DIE organizations and indoctrination, fire excess government non-workers, and prohibit men from competing with women in sports. Wokeness is a Neurological Disorder

Observations From the Back Row With News and Views For 3/24/25

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, going "Woke" and reality can be a conundrum, since reality can really bite.  Disney's latest Snow White offering is crashing, and their star who made it clear she hates Trump and his supporters is crashing right along with Disney.  I'm just glad Walt isn't around to see what these misfits have done to his creation.  And that's the pattern of leftism.  Infiltration and corruption, including foundations created by wealthy industrialists of the late 19th and 20th century.  If these people were alive to see what their money has morphed into they'd be aghast at the insanity.  But hey, at least they're all woke, right?  Isn't that sufficient?

Trump is shutting down the Department of Education, a massively expensive failure that caterers to the teacher's unions, who have failed the children of America, and that includes the universities.   Shutting down places like Harvard and Columbia would be a nice start, but what really needs to be done is ending all funding to all these universities, tax their endowment funds, and force them to become "for profit" institutions with the same rules that are imposed on all businesses.

Let them then teach any insanity they choose to teach, but not on the taxpayers dime. They can advertise their their views to the world and compete in an open market place. And if they lie in their advertisements, they need to be sued by those taken in, and prosecuted for false advertising.   The answer is in the money, not all this crap about academic freedom.  What they want is the freedom to leech off the people they despise, and it's time for that to stop.

Talking about money, in 2023  the world's priciest whisky went up for auction, "Macallan Adami 1926 single malt whisky, a Scotch whisky that spent 60 years aging in sherry casks."  Sale price? "$2.7 million at a Sotheby's auction in London on November 18, 2023, making it the most expensive wine or spirit ever sold."

I gotta tell ya, I've never understood this. The idea of why anyone would spend almost three million dollars on a bottle of hooch. But if they have the money, and they do, that's their business, and that's okay with me, but once that's done, then what?  As I see it there are three options.

  1. Never open it as an investment, but if you can afford to spend almost three million bucks on hooch, the investment argument seems weak to me.
  2. Use it to show off.  Imagine that.  They need a bottle of hooch to make them seem like they're something special?
  3. Drink it. But I don't understand how any hooch, no matter the taste, can possibly be worth about three million bucks.

Conclusion? They're nuts.

Before Trump was elected the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, another commission that seriously needs to ride off into the sunset, passed new and expansive rules regarding pregnancy that could upend the workplace.

Wow! Does that now mean those leftists in government who've been insisting that men and women are the same, were wrong?   That they really aren't the same? I just had a thought. Does that mean transsexuals who profess to be women, aren't real women?  And if they're not real women they shouldn't be competing with "real" women in athletics?  C'mon man, I don't know but that sounds a bit heretical to leftist dogma to me. Can that open up a can of heretical worms.  Just a thought.  Waddayathink?

What Elon Musk has accomplished with Twitter, now X, and DOGE is amazing and commendable.  It's hard to understand the man.  In spite of his positive accomplishments, I think Elon has a screw loose.  What kind a person names his child X Æ A-Xii, along with others named,  Nevada, Saxon, and get these names, Exa Dark Sideræl, Techno Mechanicus.

If it wasn't for his DOGE accomplishments my thoughts were if there was ever any evidence of interstellar aliens on the planet, he's it, and would clearly qualify as their ambassador.  There's something seriously wrong with this guy. As for the women who've married and/or bared his children; they also must have a screw loose.

There, I've said it, I mean it, I won't take it back, and I hope he keeps up his good works!  What really irritates me is all that sounds like cognitive dissonance on my part.

There's an unending meme about Trump's economic war on the world, and it's one that's long over due.  Canada and Europe have all been in a real snit over Trump's policies, “How dare you do to us what we did to you long ago! What gives you the right to do to us what we're doing to you now?”   Canada, European nations, as well as other nations, such as China, have long placed tariffs on American goods, and/or subsidized their businesses and industries placing them at a distinct advantage over their American counterparts.

They just don’t get it, Bretton Woods is done, but Trump gets it, and so let them whine, cry, scream, and threaten all they want, we don’t need them, they need us. Europe is doomed, the EU is doomed, and they fail to realize they’re no longer the geopolitical center of the world. It’s shifting to the Middle East, and for a while China.   But China is self-immolating, it just isn’t that obvious yet to them, since they all live in a delusional echo chamber of head nodders, but Europe is heading down the drain, and America isn’t going to bail them out this time, and  China's economy is in trouble.  One more thing. There’s a difference between tariffs for economic reasons versus geopolitical reasons. Trump is mastering both.

We’re not living in a Smoot-Hawley world, and smart tariffs will benefit America.  Over fifteen years ago I observed and wrote about how taking the hard stand was going bring industry back to America. First, again, Bretton Woods is over. We held the world’s hand to keep them up, and now they’re dragging us down. Tariffs, trade restrictions, and most most importantly, the lack of stability in the rest of the world is going to drive companies back, and as it turns out, foreign companies are deciding to come to America.   "Rolls-Royce is reportedly preparing to increase manufacturing production in the United States to avoid tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump."

The trend right now is to eliminate a bunch of rule making nitwit bureaucrats, and the nitwit regulations they passed, which in 2014 cost America 1.8 trillion dollars a year. All of these regulations do one thing for sure - create jobs – for non-productive bureaucrats.  It took government employees 10.38 billion hours to do “the paperwork for the federal government in 2013, and will take 78,000 full-time employees to complete the additional paperwork”, and that was ten years ago, I don’t know what it is now.

Once American capitalism is unleashed it becomes a force of nature no nation on Earth can match. That’s why it’s important to dismantle all these foreign schemes, especially with China.

On March 16,  John F. Di Leo published this piece, Tariffs and the Moral High Ground, laying out an argument to justify America taking on the world over trade, and did it very impressively I might add, and then failed, with the, "it's not the right time", meme.  I see that pattern playing out so often.

I’m 78 years old, very soon 79, and I’ve been hearing, “This isn’t the right time”, for so long I don’t remember when was the first time I heard it. But I also keep hearing, “if now isn’t the right time, when is”? And, “if Trump doesn’t do it, who will?”

“This isn’t the right time” is just kicking the can down the road, and that never seems to end. That can has been kicked far too long, way too far down that road.

So, let me give the world the answer as when the time is right.

The right time is always ….. always …… when someone comes along who’s willing and has the guts to do it. If there are consequences, then so be it, let them happen, since there will always be consequences. If that’s true, and it is, then let them happen now so my children won’t have to face the deadly consequences of doing nothing after I’m gone.

One more thing, the idea it will take America a long time to adjust isn’t set in stone. During WWII American manufacturers went from the consequences of the Great Depression to the greatest manufacturing giant the world had ever seen, and did it overnight. American capitalism when unleashed is like a force of nature.

Challenging the internationally corrupt trade practices is only one leg of a four legged stool. The second leg is ending the thousands and thousands of destructive regulations imposed on America by a totally corrupt Deep State, and that in the works right now.  It’s clear Trump understands the problem for that four legged stool.   Trade agreements, regulations, spending, and taxes, and is determined to fix them.

I have a number of writers who permit me to publish their work, and one is a libertarian economist, who is usually really smart about economics, and tracks everything. But I’ve not been publishing him lately because he’s on an unending rant about how stupid Trump is about tariffs.

And again, this isn’t 1930 and the world’s economy that Smoot-Hawley impacted no longer exists. They need us, we don’t need them, and I’m willing to take that plunge and see just who lasts the longest. It won’t be Canada, it won't be Europe, it won't be Mexico, and it won't be China.   I’m more than prepared see who gives out first, and it won’t be America.

Ontario strutted big and bad threatening to shut of electricity to three states. Guess what?  It didn’t take long for them to get their heads on right, as  Ontario bowed to Trump in tariff war, and this will be the pattern, not the exception. We don’t need them, they need us, and it’s time we acted accordingly.

Abortion

  • Chelsea Clinton: Killing the unborn necessary for America's economy - Clinton claimed that access to abortion "is not just about patient health and well-being, it is a matter of society, economic and fiscal health." This aligns with her previous comment that "American women entering the labor force from 1973 to 2009 added three and a half trillion dollars to our economy."  Essentially, her argument is that abandoning motherhood and killing preborn children is justifiable so that "our economy" can grow. .......

It will not be too many years before whites in Australia become a minority; Anglo Saxons who constituted 97 percent of the population at Federation in 1901, already are a minority. China demands loyalty of all its diaspora, and when things move to a kinetic conflict, it will call all of its racial tribe in Australia to take a stand for the Fatherland of world Emperor Xi, ruler of all men..................
