Recently Pope Francis declared,  ‘All Religions Are a Path to Reach God’.  Remarkable, and this is from a Jesuit trained mind?  Okay, let's analyze that.  

Christians take the Biblical position that salvation comes only through Christ, and none of the other religions in the world teach that.  In point of fact, except for Christian faiths, they all eschew that as a religious concept. So, if that's true, and it is, that means they're teaching diametrically opposing things.  If that's true, and it is, then someone must be wrong.   If that's true, and it is, how could they all be paths to God?  

Also, if this "all religions lead to God" theme is a foundational truth, then that must have been true for all of human existence.  Right?   If that's true then we have to accept the idea the massive number of human sacrifices by the Aztecs in Mexico, and all the child sacrifices to Baal in the Middle East were acceptable expressions of faith leading to God.  Right?

One thing we absolutely know, the Pope didn't get that idea from reading the Bible, and we already know he's been on board with the Chinese Communists,  Muslims, global warmists, and unrestricted immigrationists.  He hates capitalism, hates America, and under this tutelage, church leaders have even openly flirted with homosexuality, and abortionists, which official church teaching condemns.   So, based on his history of what many Catholic leaders and lay people are openly calling heresy, why should anyone care what he thinks? 

Francis Slams Candidates’ Anti-life Convictions to Cover his own Convictions - Pope Francis is pointing fingers at *Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for their pro-abortion stance, the irony being that Francis has a history of collaborating with anti-life people. He's says we have to choose between the lesser of two evils in the upcoming presidential election, insinuating that Kamala Harris is the lesser of the two despite her fanatical pro-abortion position.

Well, we know Muslims don't really care what he thinks. In spite of his conciliatory tone with Islamists, they want to kill  him. Imagine that.

Francis thinks failing to destroy Christianity is a “grave sin”.  How so?   He claims rejecting the unrestricted migration of Muslims into western civilization, all of whom have a fanatical desire to impose Islam on Christians, in effect an immigration jihad, and doing it violently, is a grave sin. Imagine that. 

The idea of a religious war is anathema to western civilization, but western civilization doesn't have a say in that.  Muslims have been at war with the world for it's entire existence, and it's a religious war, an almost 1500 year religious war, and we really need to get that, and trust me, when I say this:  Based on Islamic history a goal of Islam is to turn the Vatican complex into a Mosque, just as they did the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, now Istanbul. 

 

All religions are paths to God?  Well, Muslims absolutely don't believe that, and leftist don't believe he exists, and based things the Pope and his cabal are promoting one has to wonder if they believe he exists.     You may wish to review my entire

There are a number of things I don't deal with in P&D, and those are sports, entertainment and theocratic arguments unless they have some social significance.  Not that I don't have views on all of that, it's just that's not what P&D is about.  Theological arguments are unending, and in the end, believers believe what believers believe and I would have wasted a lot of time going nowhere, although dealing with leftists is much the same as it's clearly a neo-pagan secular religion to leftists. We're now calling it the Church of Wokeness, and the Church of the Warming Globe, is one of the sects of that "church" of atheism. 

At any rate, P&D deals with social issues and religion comes up if it impacts those issues such as abortion, global warming, socialism, capitalism, environmentalism, etc.  And now, that's become an issue hasn't it?  

Judaic/Christian ethics and principles are the very foundation of western civilization, but it reached it's pinnacle of influence in America, and the reason why is because America was founded on the concept of the separation of church and state, ergo, America never had all the religious wars Europe did.   The only religious wars in America were intellectual ones.  A lot of egos may have gotten bruised in those battles, but no armies marched over the land.    

Let's start with:

Freedom of religious expression, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly guaranteed the free practice of all religions without state interference. Religion was everywhere in the United States. All US currency includes a reference to G-d, as does the pledge of allegiance, and virtually every important meeting or event begins with an invocation of His name.

But that's changed.  The left has for 125 years been working to destroy the very idea there even is a God, and it's working, and worse yet, the leaders of the main stream religious are succumbing to it all.

But when the Pope embraces leftist clabber everyone notices, and a lot of people are upset, most of them Catholics.  Below are articles I've been saving for over three years dealing with the leftist corruption of religion in America and around the world, starting with this paragraph.

In his bid to become chaplain of the New World Order, Francis has alienated powerful members of the hierarchy, including the former head of the Holy Office.  Out of nowhere, Archbishop Charles Chaput blasted any priest who would dare give communion to Joe Biden – a “Catholic” who, according to Chaput, is not in communion with the Catholic Church. With Cardinal Zen in prison, Bishop Schneider in Bannon’s war room, and Cardinal Muller on EWTN, the Vatican is getting nervous. You won’t believe what the Vatican Secretary of State said, in fact, the other night to the top brass at EWTN!  The civil war is on, friends. Which side are you on?

Francis’ war on tradition picked up steam over the years and went on to include an all-out-war on traditionalist Catholic religious communities with the final goal, as some critics have noted, of the complete abolition of the Latin Mass by 2023 or 2024.    But Francis’ leftwing political orthodoxy and hatred of tradition has not only cast him as a kind of dictator pope, it has shown him to be ruthless and disrespectful in his purge of the work and feelings of his predecessor............

The Next Pope Should at Least be Catholic September 6, 2022 By Christopher Skeet - Pope Francis doesn’t like America.  Pope Francis doesn’t like capitalism.  It is unclear whether Pope Francis even likes Catholicism.  Whatever the case may be, he seems to be doing everything he can to dissuade Catholics from remaining in the Church, and to keep prospective Catholics from joining.

A few of Pope Francis’ more memorable pronouncements are worth noting:............Pope Francis is also noteworthy for what he doesn’t say.  Take, for instance, when in 2015 he visited Cuba and gallivanted around with Raul Castro, a man whose legacy includes murdering and imprisoning Christians.  Not once did Pope Francis offer any criticism whatsoever of the bloody communist regime, nor utter a single word of solidarity with its victims.  And for the spontaneous protests of the Cuban people in 2021 and 2022, and the resulting brutal government crackdown?  Not a peep. ..................

Pope Francis has a rigid, inflexible worldview, born of the putrid liberation theology upon which he was weaned in Peronist Argentina.  This worldview holds that capitalism is evil, and the United States is its most sinful devotee.  His knowledge of basic economics and rudimentary history is beyond embarrassing, as is his inability to see critics and dissidents as anything but crude strawmen in a Marxist-Manichean cosmic drama.  For a man who likes to quip that “facts are more important than ideas,” he is remarkably illogical in his approach to humanity and its inherent problems. ...........To Read More...

Pelosi, the Pope, and Pachamama -  Francis says sin is serious, but acts as though it’s trivial. - Wed Jul 13, 2022 William Kilpatrick21 comments - Suppose your local district attorney complains loudly about the rise of violent crime in your city, yet consistently allows violent criminals to go free on low bail—even those with a long history of repeated crimes.  Is he a lying hypocrite?  Or is he deeply confused—unable to see the blatant contradiction between his words and his deeds?  Either way, most people would conclude that he is unfit for office.  He is as much a danger to the community as the criminals he returns to the streets.

 

The Catholic Church is currently ruled by just such a person.  Pope Francis has said one thing and done the opposite on so many occasions that it’s fair to conclude that this is his habitual mode of behavior.  One can also conclude that –like the DA who sends mixed signals—he is unfit for the office he holds.  Whether or not Francis himself is a deeply confused person, he has managed to sow enormous confusion among Catholics as to what they should believe and how they should behave.........To Read More...

Are They Catholics, or Are They Heretics?  By Rich Kozlovich - On May 14, 2021 Dr. Susan Berrym posted this piece,  Nancy Pelosi: ‘I Think I Can Use My Own Judgment’ on Receiving Holy Communion", in short it seems to me Pelosi is declaring she's now the supreme arbiter of Church ethic, morals and doctrine.  Berrym went on to say: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said during her press briefing Thursday she can use her “own judgment” regarding the decision to receive Holy Communion, in light of the controversy over the fact that she supports legalized abortion and legislation to help more women obtain abortions...........His solution?  He wants dialogue between these abortion supporting politicians and the Bishops and others.  Really? What's that mean?  Does it mean the Bishops will confront them and demand they recognize the graveness of the sin and repent?  Not likely, so his solution means nothing, resolves nothing and upholds heresy!

Chapman | February 28, 2020 - Catholic Archbishop Jan Lenga,  the former head of the Diocese of Karaganda, Khazakhstan and now retired in Poland, was ordered to stop delivering sermons and speaking with the media because of his frequent statements that Pope Francis is a "heretic" spreading "untruths and sins" and "leading the world astray." Archbishop Lenga has rejected the order to be silent, issued this month by Polish Bishop Wieslaw Mering, because no one in the Polish church apparently has the authority to silence him, reported Crux.com.  Lenga belongs to a religious order, the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, and is living as a guest of the order in Lichen, Poland. He reportedly is only subject to an order from the Pope.  “Christ gave me authority through the church to proclaim the truth, and I’ll do so as long as I live,” said Lenga, 69, as reported by Crux.com.  “I won’t yield to degradation by those whose own statements and actions are entangled with heresy and sectarianism." ...........

This most certainly sounds outrageous BUT let me ask the readers the following questions to prove my point:

Why is pope Francis so much ‘in love’ with Islam that he declared in Paragraph 252 of EG [Evangelii gaudium]: “The sacred writings of Islam have retained some Christian teachings; Jesus and Mary receive profound veneration and it is admirable to see how Muslims both young and old, men and women, make time for daily prayer and faithfully take part in religious services.”

Really? Which Christian teachings? The Muslim ones that DENY the divinity of BOTH Jesus and Mary? Has pope Francis even bothered to read Muhammad’s Quran?  Has anyone else among the hundreds of thousands of his prelates?  Al Tauba 9:29“Fight [qatiloo] those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle [Muhammad] nor acknowledge the religion of truth [ISLAM] (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Christians & Jews] until they pay the Jizya [onerous penalty for not being a Muslim] with willing submission and feel themselves humiliated”..........

Chapman | September 16, 2019 - In response to Pope Francis's criticism of  "rigid priests" -- priests who steadfastly uphold all of the Church's teachings, especially on sexual morality and the family -- Monsignor Charles Pope, the pastor of a church in Washington, D.C., said he was not "feeling the love" from the Pope and is "wearied from being scorned and demonized by you."  Pope Francis has criticized what he calls "rigid priests," or clerics who are "rigid" in their ministry, fairly frequently since he was elected Pope in March 2013. In an October 2016 homily, Pope Francis said that rigid people are "sick" and adhere too strongly to the letter of the law. He often associates rigidity with orthodox Catholics who adhere to the traditions of the Church, its ancient devotions and prayers, the Latin Mass, and a strong love for the Virgin Mary.........
