History is Everything!

The problem is we no longer teach history, we're teaching the leftist lies and propaganda from misfits like , and

For decades America allowed the "elitists", the so-called experts, to determine what was history, the direction America should go, and the values America should embrace, and it was what communists called the "slow march through the institutions", and it started in the 1890's and never stopped, but perhaps now that will change.

 Leftism is like rust, it never sleeps.   I've used that line for many years, and it's not what you think.   When you say rust, most think of it as the degradation of metal via oxidation, and it is.  But the rust I'm talking about is a fungal disease of wheat, and on his dying bed that statement was one of the last things said by the greatest man to have lived in the 20th century, Norman Borlaug, who saved a billion people from starvation. 

Rust never sleeps, and neither does leftism, and it's just as infectious as rust.  Leftism is evil, and we have, starting with the French Revolution 235 years of history that proves it.  In the 20th century alone these leftist monsters murder over 100 million innocent people to push their tyrannous goals, and they're still doing it openly, and the world yawns.   Virtually everything they support are in point of fact irrational, misanthropic, and morally defective crimes against humanity.

The foundational values of leftism are greed, hate, envy, lust, and violence, which is why they have so much in common with Islam, which over almost 1500 years of history has slaughtered and enslaved hundreds of millions, and they're still doing it, and their murderous actions against Jews in Europe is the canary in the coal mine, and the Jews world is getting smaller, and less safe by the day, and the left is just fine with that.   Islamists are even being touted by the left and the Pravda media as the victims of Islamophobia.  

Evil never sleeps, history proves it, and it's time we started paying attention to it.

America's Most Seminal Years

First, many of the years before the 20th century were pivotal for the nation, especially the Civil War period and right after, because they were the foundational formative years creating a brand new nation that was unmistakably a grand republican experiment, with all the warts that go along with that.  Not a democracy, a republic.  Nothing like it ever occurred in human history before or since.  Not the Roman Republic, nor Greek Democracy, nor any other government.  American government was created from the bottom up, by the people, and for the people, so, rightly or wrongly, I'm bypassing those years and sticking to everything after the 19th century. 

If you ask people what year in American history was the most seminal in the 20th century you'll probably get a blank stare, and if they're college students there's no telling what kind of insanity they'll offer.  But some will choose dates that are meaningful, and most will get it wrong.  The correct answer is 1913!  Why?

In 1913 the federal government passed the 16th Amendment, income tax, the 17th Amendment, changing how Senators were chosen, and they created the FED.  Those actions are foundational to all the crises we're facing right now.   

The 16th Amendment created a system of legal extortion, and abuse by a thuggish out of control IRS, both of which grew massively over the years, and negatively impacting the nation's economy, and the 17th Amendment changed how senators were chosen.  Senators were supposed to be de facto ambassadors from the states to the central government representing the interests of their states, not the people, that was the job of the House of Representatives, which is why all tax bills must originate in the House.  The founders wanted Senators to be chosen by the state's governments to keep the central government from getting out of control, and we now see the consequences of both those Amendments.  

Both need repealed, and neither will be.  That leaves the FED which was created in 1913, and turned over to an unelected body control of the nation's economy.  Alexander W. Salter in his article, Why Fed Reform Could Be the Biggest Sleeper Issue of 2024 states:

The Fed’s institutional flaws and failures trashed its credibility. It’s time to rein in the central bank.

Quoting Joseph Sternberg he states:

“The next president will inherit a Federal Reserve staffed by economists — and their intellectual helpmates in academia — who still don’t fully understand what has happened over the past few years, let alone over the past few decades”...........

Salter goes on to say:

The Fed is a flawed institution at best, and a failed institution at worst. Sternberg suggests several reforms. While potentially helpful, none go far enough...........Sternberg laments Fed decision-makers’ “groupthink,” explained in part by the concentration of authority in the “Washington-based Board of Governors in thrall to the central bank’s research department.” The “Fed’s independence from the rest of the government” amplifies its irresponsibility. .... It “means politicians and voters can’t enforce accountability.” In other words, it’s a judge in its own cause. That’s unacceptable for anyone who cares about the rule of law.

Just like the IRS, out of control, and powers unto themselves.   

He then goes on to make suggestions for reform.  How about abolishment?  Also I don't agree with him on this issue of tariffs, and while tariffs can impact prices, they can also impact how governments act, like China.  And that's a part of the package all these economist refuse to understand.  One more thing.  If tariffs are so bad, then why do all these nations who decry American tariffs have them?  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Then came 1916, and Woodrow Wilson, America's first fascist President, was re-elected, a President who, just like Teddy Roosevelt, believed the Constitution was and impediment to human progress and became America's first fascist President "revolutionizing the way the federal government works creating the foundation for the modern administrative state."  We'll come back to that also. 

The next seminal year was 1928.  

Calvin Coolidge became President after Harding died.  He finished Harding's term and ran for his own in 1924.  Coolidge hated being President and refused to run in 1928 for his second term, and Hoover, who Coolidge thought was an idiot, was elected and whose failures led to FDR, the , and a massive expansion of Wilson's administrative state FDR called the New Deal, which wasn't new, nor was it a deal. 

Then Kennedy was elected via voter fraud in 1960, a failure as President, but who's assassination led to Johnson's Great Society programs which has been massively expensive and arguably a failure, all of which expanded government all the more.   This led to the 1968 election of Richard Nixon, who was one of the worst presidents to ever sit behind the Resolute Desk, with his passage of the The National Environmental Policy Act, the creation of the EPA, and a host of other abusive and economically suicidal regulations, but worst of all, was his opening China up to world trade, saving China from Mao's disastrous economy.  As a result China has thrived economically, and western civilization is now funding it's own demise. 

Everything else since then has been nothing more than variations of those themes, including Obama's election, until 2016 when Trump was elected, and he set things into motion that's rattled the entire political culture in America.  I'm not deliberately ignoring Reagan, but he was still facing a loyal opposition, Trump was, and is, facing a disloyal opposition called the Party of Treason, and 2024 may become the most seminal year of all in American history, and may be the end of America as we know it.

So, It's Kamala? Really? Then We Need a Little History Lesson!

Editor's Note:  This will be the first in a series dealing with the history of Kamala.  I've saved a lot of articles, published a lot of articles, and written a lot of articles dealing with Kamala's incompetence and stupidity.   As the media raptures their spleens hiding the real Kamala, I will be exposing the real Kamala, and it won't be pretty.  RK

Kamala is going to be confronted with the Biden administration polices, all of which she supported, and all of which she will have to defend, with cackles of self immolation, it behooves us to take a look a their policies, starting with three of America's three greatest enemies, China, Iran, and Russia.

China, Iran, and Russia have economies that are paper tigers, stunningly fragile. None of whom can stand too much interruption without crumbling.  Trump understood that, and if the 2020 election hadn't been stolen his successful polices would have continued and so much of what's going on right now wouldn't have happened.  Geopolitics and economics go hand in hand.

Neither Obama, Biden, Harris, nor any in their circular firing squad cabal get that, or refuse to admit it.  Unfortunately, having such a circular firing squad in charge in Washington is the real flaw in the scenario being painted here. 

Khamenei, Putin, and Xi took Biden's measure and knew him to be weak, indecisive, incompetent and a not-so-bright stumble bum, and on that was on the best of occasions, and easily intimidated.  In the case of China, it seems clear he was on the take.

It also seemed clear to to me Biden was going to be the Democrat Nominee, and truthfully, I didn't think he'd buckle and would stay in the race no matter what.   But his dementia must be progressing so badly even Jill and Hunter realized he couldn't go on.   

Well, now that he's out the Democrats are choosing an even more amazingly weak, stupid, selfish, incompetent and calloused replacement.  Kamala Harris!  And now they're pretty much stuck between the rock and the hard place in a disaster of their own making.   And I also have no doubt Khamenei, Putin, and Xi, believe she can be bullied.  And I also think they can kick her to the curb without breaking a sweat.

An adoring corrupt media allowed Kamala to get away with playing the phony tough arrogant bully role in the Kavanaugh hearings, but that won't float with Khamenei, Putin, and Xi, they're past masters at it. 

Trump could do it an get away with it because they knew they weren't dealing with a checkers player like Obama.  They were facing a multidimensional chess player in Trump, one with guts, one who fights.  Neither Obama, Biden, Harris, or the teams of misfits surrounding them are capable of dealing with any of those three at that level.  They're not even playing checkers, they're playing 52 pick up. 

The media wouldn't be able to protect Harris from these guys, nor can they protect her from consequences of her failures, which are already monumental, and I have no doubt would be even more monumental if elected.  She would crumble like tin foil.

If she has to debate Trump, she will be tin foil, even with the support of an excuse making media.  But no matter what, they're going to try just as hard as they can, just like Joe Biden high on medication, fixated and irrational. 

In the beginning of the Biden administration I ran a three part Kamala Harris Weekly series.  n Kamala Harris Weekly, Part I, I stated she was going to be a 25th Amendment President. Well, it almost happened, but the thinking behind that statement proved valid.  That was followed by a list of linked articles showing what a disaster she is.  Further noting:

Biden and Harris are a disaster domestically and internationally.  These two misfits are going to make both Jimmy Carter and Obama look brilliant.  Unfortunately the sane people of America will have to suffer right along with the 45% who think this false President is doing a good job.  Tomorrow I'll cover his European trip, which was as successful for America as was Kamala's trip to Central America, both of which were an embarrassment, and neither of them recognize just how stupid and incompetent they are.

Kamala Harris Weekly, Part II continued in that vein.  Remember, this was the view of Kamala from the media showing her radical views as an antisemite, a racist, someone total unconcerned over  illegal immigration, and how she hates America. Cackling like a fiend right up until now, with

Kamala Harris Watch, Part III confirming her irrational and radical positions, and the left is cheering as if someone great and wonderful just walked in the room.

Don't let the cheering fool you.  People without a solid moral foundation have meandering values that allow them to rationalize their reversion to acts of self interest and corruption.   Oliver Cromwell defeated a corrupt King in 1651, and then had to dissolve Parliament in 1653 for becoming corrupt for their own ends.  Here's one of my favorite quotes from Oliver Cromwell, that is totally applicable to our modern day state of corruption. 

“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter'd your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil'd this sacred place, and turn'd the Lord's temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress'd, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!"

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared the Zika virus epidemic a Public Health Emergency thanks to its rapid spread and possible association with microcephaly. Global conditions for spread of mosquito-borne viruses are constantly changing. But spread of Zika would have been unlikely during the 1950s and 60s because of successful mosquito eradication efforts. Today, the virus readily proliferates in urban environments where the primary mosquito responsible for the epidemic, Aedes aegypti, thrives.

U.S. policies in the 1940s were helpful in early mosquito eradication efforts. Changes in U.S. policies in the late 1960s however facilitated the subsequent demise of those efforts.

DDT was introduced during WWII to prevent millions of cases of louse-borne typhus and other insect-borne diseases. After the war, it was used to free billions of people from the threat of malaria. In the Americas, DDT was used to control malaria, and also to eradicate Aedes aegypti, the mosquito responsible for yellow fever, dengue, and now, Chikungunya and Zika viruses.

Bolivia began Aedes aegypti eradication with DDT in 1945, and by 1947 it was eradicated. This landmark event led the Truman Administration to sign an agreement to eradicate the yellow fever mosquito from the hemisphere.

But not until 1963, under the Kennedy Administration, did Congress appropriate funds for Aedes aegypti eradication, placing the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in charge. The U.S. program was justified, in part, as a means of preventing the export of Aedes aegypti from the U.S. back into the Aedes aegypti-free countries of the Americas.

Aedes aegypti is a domestic species and is found almost exclusively in and around houses. For Aedes aegypti eradication, DDT was sprayed inside and outside water containers near houses. DDT stopped Aedes aegypti mosquitoes from laying eggs in the sprayed containers. If the adult mosquitoes were not repelled by DDT, then DDT killed them when they contacted the sprayed surfaces.

The eradication programs were massively successful. Many said that DDT was so successful that it eradicated the malariologists, as well as malaria. DDT was so

successful in Aedes aegypti eradication that in the late 1960s a dengue expert opined that dengue would never again threaten the people of the Americas.

The U.S. Aedes aegypti eradication program did not start until 1964. Substantial progress was described in a 1967 progress report. However, that progress was short lived. In 1968 David J. Sencer, the CDC Director, expressed opposition to eradication. Sencer had influence over the Global Malaria Eradication program, for which the U.S. provided much DDT and most of the funding.

In July 1969, Sencer accompanied the U.S. Delegation to the World Health Assembly to decide the fate of The Global Malaria Eradication program. The decision was taken to abruptly terminate the program. That fall, Nixon ordered the cancellation of all residential uses of DDT in the U.S. In a separate action, Sencer terminated the U.S. Aedes aegypti eradication program too. The malaria and Aedes aegypti eradication programs relied completely on DDT. There were no DDT substitutes.

Nixon reported to Congress in January 1970 that We have taken action to phase out the use of DDT and other hard pesticides. Action against DDT didn t end there. Created in 1970, Nixon s Environmental Protection Agency convened a hearing in 1971 to determine DDT s fate. 125 witnesses were called and expert scientific testimony spanned seven months. In the end, the presiding judge (Judge Edmund Sweeney) approved the continued essential uses of DDT, stating that DDT is not a carcinogenic hazard to man. Two months later, the EPA Administrator, William Ruckelshaus, ignored the presiding judge s findings and concluded DDT was a carcinogenic risk to humans. With that he banned all non public health uses of DDT. Even for public health use, he required that each application for public health use undergo EPA review and approval.

In contemplating what could be used instead of DDT, Judge Sweeney had concluded that potential DDT replacements were too dangerous. Ruckelshaus did not let that stop him from banning DDT. He identified methyl parathion as the primary DDT substitute. Years later and after untold deaths of agricultural workers, the EPA banned parathion as being too dangerous, even when protective gear was used.

Ruckelshaus opinion of DDT as a carcinogenic risk to humans was a scientific anomaly. His conclusion stemmed entirely from high dose animal studies. Even today, no expert review of DDT concludes that it is a human carcinogen. Even if it were a human carcinogen, decisions about public health use of DDT would need to be balanced against the risks of cancer with its use versus the risks of disease, death, and/or infant neurological damage from viral infections without its use. As a final point, the World Health Organization still approves DDT for use in disease control programs.

On a global scale, Sencer s advocacy against the eradication programs doomed the public health use of DDT. But the EPA s DDT ban put the final nail in the coffin. After the ban, DDT availability declined and cost went up. Aedes aegypti eradication programs quickly failed and by the mid-1970s the mosquitoes were re-invading the Americas. Dengue soon started savaging countries that had been free of the disease for 20 years or more. Severe dengue epidemics and millions of cases became routine annual occurrences in the Americas.

In 2004 the New York Times Magazine published Tina Rosenberg s What the World needs now is DDT. She cited South Africa s stunningly successful return to DDT for malaria control. Since then, South Africa s continued use of DDT kept malaria at bay. The country s President just accepted an award from the African Leaders Malaria Alliance for moving South Africa s malaria program toward the goal of eradication.

Nowhere has environmental extremism against DDT been more successful than in the Americas. Today African countries are free to use DDT, but extremist propaganda has foreclosed on those freedoms for the Americas, perhaps forever.

Uncontrolled dengue epidemics are bad, but in 2013 Chikungunya infections appeared in the Americas, followed in April 2015 by Zika virus infection. All these diseases are spread by Aedes aegypti, and complete failures of non-insecticidal approaches to Aedes aegypti control ensure the continued spread of those diseases.

Having sowed the seeds of a public health crisis of the three viral diseases listed above, the U.S. must now help to find solutions. New larval control insecticides are needed that combine DDT s action of repellency, toxicity, and persistence, on or in water containers. Countries should be encouraged to put aside environmental extremism and use DDT if field tests give favorable results.

The Judgment of Time

It has been my experience that being insatiably curious is its own reward and its own punishment.

The reward is the satisfaction of “knowing” that which is true. The punishment can be finding yourself at odds with everyone else. Make no mistake about this; there is a difference between traditional wisdom and conventional wisdom. Traditional wisdom has stood the test of time. Conventional wisdom is merely what everyone believes at the moment and may only last until the next philosophical flavor of the day appears.

We have the desire to “know” things; to have the right answers, but that requires an understanding of a great many things. It has also been my experience that most things aren’t as complicated as they appear on the surface; we just fail to understand the root problem properly. As a result, we increase the difficulty of problem solving. There has always been an amazingly intricate interplay between people that has been at the heart of it all.

It is a fact that everything in life is paradigms and demographics.

Paradigms create demographics and demographics create paradigms. So many demand perfection when history has shown that the “best we can hope for us the most tolerable imperfection”. A man once said that if you ever find the perfect organization; join it! However, he said, remember that the minute you have joined, it is now somewhat less than perfect!

It is also true that ignorance is the natural state because we all start our lives ignorant. And for all of our lives we will remain ignorant about a great many things, because there is so much to learn about so many subjects, therefore a varying degree of ignorance is understandable. Ignorance simply means we don’t know. That is fixable! By learning about things, many things, we can reduce our level of ignorance continually, but never totally! However, if we choose to remain ignorant, that is stupidity.

It's the stupidity I hate.

Reading history is one way of avoiding being more ignorant than everyone else. Mostly because history is the fruitage of the work of millions of people over thousands of years. Unfortunately it only works when we read it. It only matters if we understand it and remember it correctly.

History has all the answers. There is really nothing new under the sun, everything that exists today has its foundation in man’s history.  The technology may become more advanced, but the application of all things is still based on that intricate interplay between human beings.

The correct information and necessary understanding to make the right decisions is there, if we read it. Yet we don’t read, understand or care about history as a society. That makes us easily fooled by those who twist and manipulate history for their own ends; and so many times those ends are in direct violation of traditional wisdom. I find that those who twist history seem to have one thing in common. Their interpretation of events usually denigrates or diminishes traditional wisdom. That doesn’t necessarily make it wrong by the way, but it should at least be a warning bell that should make us want to dig deeper into the subject to find out for ourselves.

We need to understand that if we don’t bother to read and have the correct understanding of history we will be like the waves being washed back and forth by every new wind that blows our way.  Wisdom is the application of knowledge and understanding.  Without correct knowledge and understanding we have no anchor for our thinking, no touchstone to gauge our values by.  We then are incaplable of any real direction, as a result we fail in our judgments; judgments that will have a negative impact on society over the long haul. That society is our children and our grandchildren.

Some things really are right and some things really are wrong.  There really is such a thing as good and evil in the world.  There....that is a good start for foundational thinking.
