Global Warming: Prediction Is Really Hard - Especially About the Future II

We keep hearing the left scream that Trump is insane, or at the very least mentally challenged, but that's been the left/media meme from the time I was a teenager when Goldwater was running against Johnson, and I remember that clearly, and everyone believed it.  Those days are gone now, and we know the media is as corrupt as their leftist buddies and can pretty much ignore their mental derangement meme.

I wrote an article entitled, Feel the Bern: Bernie Sanders is Insane! with the solid logical foundation that if you're doing the same things over and over again, which have failed, and expect a different outcome when trying it again is a definition of insanity - Bernie was insane - since he keeps promoting socialism as the cure for the nation's ills in spite of the fact it's not only failed everywhere for all times - it's a disaster going on right before our eyes in Venezuela.  You may wish to review my Feel the Bern series of article I've either linked or written. 

Well the same is true if one keeps clinging to the Global Warming disaster predictions - all of which have failed or are failing, and yet they keep clinging to their claims of disaster and making more predictions for a monstrous disaster based on the same failed assumptions, which have been shown to be scientifically flawed at best, or deliberately fraudulent at worst. 

Is that evidence of insanity? 

Michael Bastasch on January 9th posted the article, Washington Governor Claims‘Just 59 Days’ To Save Children From Global Warming saying:

"Washington state’s Democratic Governor Jay Inslee warned there was “just 59 days” to save future generations from “an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next.”  Inslee went on a lengthy Twitter rant in efforts to convince the state legislature to pass legislation to tax carbon dioxide emissions. Washington residents voted down Inslee’s last carbon tax plan by a wide margin in 2016."

So, since what he's wanting is more tax money he resorts to the biggest lie and biggest emotional appeal of all - It's For the Children". Well, when we see that it's time to stop and take a really hard look at what they're promoting, because the left pulls this out on a regular basis to push something through that's usually unacceptable, because when it comes to our children - no sacrifice is too great - and that's what they want - sacrifice.  The left wants us to sacrifice our money, our security, our freedom and our ability to do without them.  And that's what they free the most - our ability to do without them.

So, what about this 59 day "red line"?  That's as full of it as Loony Prince Charlie's claim we only had 96 months before the Earth burned up - 90 months ago.  This article says he made a 100 month prediction, but no matter, either way he was running out of months to be right!  But one thing he must have recognized - the disaster wasn't going to happen so in 2015 he upped the ante - he's now exerting his predictive ability - which thus far is not very good - making his "tipping point" thirty five years from now.  Smart move on his part since the likelihood of his being alive by then is pretty much zero, and he won't have to fact the music about being stupid - and yes I'm going to say it - insane.  If we use the same definition for insantiy I used with Bernie - then he's insane.

Then we have Stephen Hawking declaring: "Earth will become unbearably boiling hot thanks to climate change" reiterating "his claim that Earth will turn into a boiling hotpot if runaway greenhouse gasses are not stopped."

Well, years ago I read how this was the smartest guy there ever was, so I started following what he says.  Well, he may be really smart in his specialty, (Hawking is a "theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge) and I will be the first to state - I have 't a clue about what he does, but I'm wondering about those who do understand this stuff - what do they really think about his "brilliance".
  
He needs to stay away from history, commentary and current events, because when he wanders into those areas - he's as dumb as tree moss.  Then of course we have to wonder at his sanity.  Everyone of my scientist friends say the same thing.  They have to be shown the facts!  They all say - in some way or the other - "I'm a scientist and that's what I do.  I look at the all the facts."

He's quoted as saying:

"By denying the evidence for climate change, and pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, Donald Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage to our beautiful planet, endangering the natural world, for us and our children.”

Once again - "it's for the children!"  If Hawking is a scientist - and he is - and he's looked at the "facts" of Anthropogenic Global Warming or Climate Change, and he still clings to his predictions - I have to conclude he must not only be dumb as tree moss - he must be insane also.
